  • Patent number: 10562072
Abstract: A grizzly apparatus includes a plurality of grizzly bars arranged at predetermined intervals in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction which is an extension direction of center axes of the grizzly bars. Each of the plurality of grizzly bars is rotatable in a direction opposite to a direction of rotation of its adjacent grizzly bar so that a slit through which a screening target object passes and a gap through which the screening target object does not pass alternately emerge, between adjacent grizzly bars. The guide includes an outer member forming its outer shape, and has at least one guide surface inclined with respect to the second direction in such a way that the guide surface descends as the guide surface advances in the second direction toward the slit to guide the screening target object having fallen onto the guide to the slit.

  • Patent number: 8844680
Abstract: A lubrication system for a utility vehicle with a lubricating unit having a lubricant reservoir, a pump, and a distributor attached thereto to which supply lines to a plurality of lubrication points can be attached, and comprising a control module having at least two lubrication programs stored therein, wherein the pump initiates an ejection of grease in a cycle predetermined by the respective lubrication program. The object of the invention is to improve upon a lubrication system such that a change between lubrication programs and optionally the execution of an intermediate lubrication using an automatic lubrication system is possible during driving operations independent of the presence of a higher level on-board electronics system.

  • Publication number: 20120285773
Abstract: A lubricating system for supplying at least one lubricating point with lubricant is described. The lubricating system is equipped with at least one feed device and at least one line extending between this feed device and a lubricating point. In order to very easily and effectively monitor and indicate the severance of a lubricant line, an electrical connection is respectively provided on the feed device and the lubricating point. An electric conductor extending between the two connections is assigned to the line. A monitoring device is assigned to the line in such a way that it generates a signal when the electric conductor is interrupted. The invention furthermore pertains to a vehicle, particularly a construction machine, which is equipped with such a lubricating system.

  • Patent number: 8100229
Abstract: First and second oil flow passages are defined in a wall portion of a transmission casing. The first oil flow passage has an open end exposed to an interior of the casing. The second oil passage is connected to the first oil passage through a connection opening defined by the first oil passage. A separate pipe member has a predetermined end portion that is inserted into the first oil passage from the open end of the same. The predetermined end portion comprises a cylindrical portion having a fixed length; an end opening defined by an end of the cylindrical portion and exposed to the first oil passage; and an orifice opening defined by a side wall of the cylindrical portion. The orifice opening is blocked by an inner wall of the first oil passage when the connection opening takes a first position relative to the open end of the first oil passage, and exposed to the second oil passage when the connection opening takes a second position relative to the open end of the first oil passage.

  • Patent number: 8100791
Abstract: A continuously variable transmission in which a sliding member is prevented from inclining is provided. The continuously variable transmission has a first oil passage provided in a movable sheave, and a second oil passage provided in a primary shaft supporting the movable sheave and connected in series to the first oil passage. A working oil is discharged from a hydraulic chamber via the first and second oil passages. The working oil is more difficult to discharge from the second oil passage than the first oil passage.

  • Publication number: 20110148066
Abstract: A vehicle suspension, steering, damping and anti-roll system for a wheeled vehicle. Unlike most previous vehicle suspension and steering systems, this invention uses a rod-in-sleeve design for the front and rear suspension assemblies to allow vertical linear wheel knuckle movement of the wheels. This invention is unusual by using a cable-operated steering system and also by using cables to transfer cable tension from upward wheel movement to remote spring/shock absorber assemblies. Also unique is the use of a spring/shock absorber assembly arrangement that provides both suspension and anti-roll effects for a pair of right and left wheels in the same unit. The rear suspension proposed shares some similarities to the front suspension and consists of a dual rod-in-sleeve design with cables that transfer forces from road bumps to a remote spring assembly.

  • Patent number: 6874599
Abstract: A fifth wheel lubricating system for greasing the interface between the upper and lower fifth wheel plates while the trailer is couple to the tractor. The system supplies grease form a cartridge that is coupled to a solenoid activated grease valve and controlled by means of an electrical controller mounted in the cab or on the catwalk of the fifth wheel tractor. The grease gun is operated pneumatically from an onboard air compressor or can be manually operated by means of a hand pump lever built into the grease gun. A primary grease hose carries grease from the grease valve to a grease distribution hub, where it is distributed to two or more distribution hoses that connect to the bottom side of the tractor mounted lower fifth wheel plate. The grease is forced up through holes in the lower fifth wheel plate, into grease slots on the top side of the lower plate.
