Abstract: A cushioning pack of unitary construction has a resilient base defining an article-receiving region for accommodating a shock-sensitive article. The article-receiving region has a platform on which the article can be placed. A cushioning structure bounds the article-receiving region. One or more arrays of upstanding article-retaining studs are formed in the base and bound a portion of the article-receiving region on the platform. The article-retaining studs have a cut partially surrounding the article-retaining studs so as to leave a hinge portion permitting the article-retaining studs to be depressed into the base so that the article-retaining studs are resistant to lateral forces but submissive to vertical forces. The pack can thus accommodate articles of different sizes.

Abstract: Provided is an inexpensive packaging member whereby musical drums can be packaged for transportation, in a short time and in the most compact manner, and can be safely transported. The packaging member can be inexpensively produced using a simple structure whereby cardboard or other sheet member is cut in a predefined shape and perforations are made therein. Furthermore, the packaging member is flat-packed and therefore does not occupy space during transportation and storage. In addition, packaging time can be shortened and drums can be safely transported. The flat-packed packaging member can be reused countless times if the contents are the same size.

Abstract: Device for holding and securing Electronic Cigarettes within a motor vehicle comprising a box-like structure having side panels, a rear panel, and a bottom panel, accessible from the top and the front. The device contains a plurality of upper and lower flexible constructs within the interior of the device acting as securing means to secure either cylindrical or box-type Electronic Cigarettes of varying dimensions. The device holds and secures, alternately, cylindrical or box-type Electronic Cigarettes, in the same space within the holder, as opposed to having separate compartments for each type of Electronic Cigarette. The invention also introduces a multi-bracket vehicle door panel mounting system where different size brackets are employed to conform to vehicle door panels of varying depths.

Abstract: A package for an instrument string includes a base plate, and a fastening unit which includes at least two fasteners provided on the base plate to receive the instrument string where the instrument string that is in a wound state is inserted between the base plate and the at least two fasteners and fastened to the base plate before the instrument string is packed into a packing bag to make a work of packing the instrument easy.

Abstract: A packaging assembly comprising: a card comprising at least one panel; a fluid dispenser comprising a fluid reservoir and a fluid dispenser member that is mounted on the reservoir; and a connection element fitted on the panel and including fastener means, the dispenser being engaged in the fastener means for being held in removable manner on the card; wherein the panel includes a window, the connection element being fitted in the window, the connection element includes a base, advantageously a flat base, of dimension that is greater than the dimension of the window, the fastener means projecting from the base, the base being disposed on one side of the panel with the fastener means passing through the window in such a manner as to project from the other side of the panel, the fastener means being inserted through the window and presenting a dimension that is greater than the dimension of the window, thereby holding the connection element in the window.

Abstract: An ornamental enclosure for the display of a decorative pin. The ornament may be hung or stood on a flat surface. The enclosure has an opening in the front for viewing the interior which is a cavity for the reception of a puncturable, resilient and removable insert with a central portion made of a material for the piercing through of the post(s) portion of a decorative pin and defining a mounting surface for a decorative pin. The removable insert is placed in the enclosure producing a background for the decorative pin. Once inside the enclosure, the resilient insert assumes a shape conforming to a portion of the interior of the enclosure.

Abstract: Packaging is provided that supports rings for display, allows rings to be sampled on a finger of a customer and which are secured to the ring to deter theft. The packaging has a top plate with an opening therein. The opening allows a portion of the ring to pass therethrough. A security stay passes through the ring and is coupled to the top plate with the security stay spanning the opening. A bottom plate is preferably also provided with a complemental form to that of the top plate. The security stay is trapped between the bottom plate and top plate to hold the security stay in place. Saddles are also preferably provided for lateral support of the ring and to allow the packaging to display the ring in an upright fashion while the packaging is resting upon a surface.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a unitary molded clip for displaying and storing jewelry. The clip is comprised of a base and first and second downwardly extending sidewalls, where the first and second downwardly extending sidewalls form the boundaries of a recess having a concave surface extending downwardly away from the surface of the base. A tab is provided which extends from the first downwardly extending side wall, projecting across the concave surface of the recess. Also provided is a first winged projection that extends downwardly from the base into the recess toward the tab. When an item of jewelry is inserted between the first winged projection and the tab, the jewelry is secured to the unitary molded clip.

Abstract: Packaging for hairbrushes includes a foldable display member having a main panel for mounting a hairbrush and upper and lower flaps extending obliquely and downwardly from an edge of the main panel. The flaps are deflectable into an arcuate configuration in which the flaps overly a portion of a mounted hairbrush. The arcuately-deflected flaps are secured by attachment to the main panel or alternatively by attachment to a mounted hairbrush below a lower edge of the main panel. The flaps may include attachment tabs receivable in openings of the main panel. Alternatively, the flaps may include openings for receiving a flexible connector for securing the flap to the main panel or to the handle of a mounted hairbrush.

Abstract: A foldable merchandising strip comprises an elongated flexible strip segmented into sections by a plurality of horizontal fold lines. A hanging assembly comprising an upwardly directed retaining tab and a downwardly directed retaining tab is provided in alternate fold sections. Packages including a slot or aperture are hung on the upwardly directed retaining tab, and the downwardly directed retain tab is folded over the bottom edge of the aperture, the retaining tabs restrict movement of the package.

Abstract: A holder for an apparel belt which can be used as both a display holder and as a storage package. When used in either the display mode or the storage mode, the holder protects the belt from being scratched or otherwise physically damaged. The holder has a sleeve with an opening at one end thereof for receiving the strap of the belt, and a sleeve extension attached to the open end of the sleeve which acts as a backdrop for the exposed portion of the belt when the holder is used in its display mode and acts as a cover for the buckle when the holder is used in its storage mode. In the display mode, the holder is hung on a merchandising display rack from an orifice in the free end of the sleeve extension. The sleeve extension has a means for retaining the buckle and a portion of the belt strap outside the sleeve to expose that portion of the belt. In the storage position, the buckle end of the belt is detached from the retaining means on the sleeve extension and the strap is more fully inserted into the sleeve.

Abstract: A device for holding writing implements has an apertured holder pattern formed in a resilient material. The holder pattern has a pair of flat resilient holding arms and aligned entry ports. The entry ports are generally rounded openings of sufficient size to enable a writing implement to be inserted in to cam the holding arms upwardly so as to hold the writing implement in place.

Abstract: The invention relates to a covering part with cable channels and a cabled covering part such as a carpet for vehicles, which is provided with several self-closing channels acommodating a cable network. These channels can be formed directly into the spring-elastic part of the covering or can comprise a plastic or foam rubber sleeve slotted on their longitudinal side and lying in the covering part. The inexpensive and simple to manufacture covering part permits an exact leading of the cables, a good protection for the cable network and a simple and quick application and exchange of the cables. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a covering part.

Abstract: A bicycle saddle hanger and packaging device, for use with a bicycle saddle having a pair of converging mounting rails, is provided. The device generally includes a display card, a pair of arms for slidably bracing a rail of a bicycle saddle, and a tapered tongue, extending between the display card and arms, for stabilizing a saddle suspended from the device during display. The device may further include a pair of shoulders for abutting the rails during the display. Between the shoulders and the arms, a pair of V-shaped slots may be provided for enabling the sliding of the display card and arms along the rails in order to facilitate stacked packaging of a plurality of such saddles on top of one another. The entire hanger and packaging device may be comprised of a single planar member. In addition, the invention provides a package of stacked bicycle saddles, each including such a hanger and packaging device.

Moreover, when the device is a holder and dispenser for armed surgical sutures, the surgical suture needle is visible and readily accessible.

The merchandiser comprises a strip, a hanger at one end of the strip for suspending the strip, and a plurality of items to be offered for sale, adhesively connected to the strip in staggered locations on the strip. Apparatus for producing the merchandiser comprises a strip material feeder operable to deliver or feed strip material to a station, a tape arm operable to advance tape, a tape cutter operable to cut off a piece of the tape, and an install pad operable to apply the piece of tape to a portion of the strip and to a portion of an item to be sold or to packaging for the item.

The clips have a base which engages, essentially flush, an outside surface, outside wall or outside corner of the container and an upstanding leg which extends through the bottom, wall or corner of the container. The eye or aperture through which the strapping passes is defined in the legs extending into the interior of the container.

The system includes an elongate flexible strip with an upper end designed for suspending from a structure. On the front surface of the strip are a plurality of spaced apart adhesive areas. Each of the adhesive areas has an adhesive on it for adhesively coupling an object to it.

The top section of the unfolded cardboard carton contains a cutout and an elongated tab projecting upwards; the end of the tab consists of a distal foldable flap separated from the tab by two lateral indentations. The central section of the carton contains a hanging slot suitable for receiving a hook of a display rack and two lower vertical slots spaced apart a distance commensurate with the size of the spur. In addition, a partial cut in the area above and around the upper slot defines a boundary between the upper and central sections of the carton such that the hanging slot is unencumbered when the two sections are folded. Finally, a horizontal slit sized to receive the tab is cut above and between the two vertical slots, the exact position being selected to meet the tab when the upper section of the carton is folded over the central section.

The item-attachment member is further adapted to be engaged to the item-supporting section during transportation of the merchandiser pre-loaded with an item.

Abstract: A point-of-purchase clear hanging strip having T-shaped cutout portions for holding, displaying and dispensing a plurality of generally like items. The hanging strip includes an elongated panel made of a transparent, flexible, non-stretchable material. The elongated panel is folded upon itself to form a channel for receiving a stability member therein. An inverted "T" tab member engages the article and includes a straight shaft integral with the elongated panel and an enlarged generally elliptical head portion integral with the base portion for maintaining the article on the tab member.

Abstract: A folder package for a electrosurgical scissors. The package has a base panel having a pair of substantially opposed major sides and a pair of substantially opposed minor sides. Foldably connected to a top minor side of the base panel is a scissors retention panel. The scissors retention panel is preferably foldably connected along a crushed fold line. The scissors retention panel has a base or bottom section, and an intermediate middle section and a top. The scissors retaining panel has a pair of opposed outwardly extending tab panels. Each tab panel has a pair of crushed fold lines contained therein. Extending from the top of the scissor retaining panel is a tab member. The tab has a U-shaped slit forming a retention tab and an opening. An additional slit at the end of the tab member intersects the U-shaped slit and divides the end of the tab member adjacent to the top of the U-shaped slit into opposed L-shaped members.

Abstract: A display package comprising a flexible card upon which is mounted an elongated tool with a handle and a shank at one end. The handle has a shoulder adjacent the shank, and a portion of reduced cross section between the shoulder and its other end, and it increases in cross section from the portion of reduced cross section towards the other end. The card has a generally planar body portion, and a flexible portion adjacent one end of the card extends at an angle to the body portion and has an aperture in which is seated the reduced portion of the handle. A slit extends radially outwardly from this aperture to enable flexure of the flexible portion to permit insertion of the handle into the aperture and to preclude withdrawal of the inserted handle. The card also has a tab intermediate the length of the body portion extending at an angle to the plane of the body portion, and having an aperture aligned with the aperture in the flexible portion, through which the shank extends.

Each receiving site (22) corresponds to the surface area of a CD cassette (100) and has at least three clips (3). The clips (3) are arranged in such a way that an inserted CD cassette (100) is held partially surrounded on at least three sides. It is thereby possible to remove a CD from the cassette to play it, without removing the cassette (100) itself from the receiving site (22) on the holder (2). The CD holder (2) can also be used as a wall decoration, or even configured as a work of art.

Abstract: Packaging for retaining a component together with an instrument package is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, a foldable package made from a sheet of cut and folded paperboard material is used to retain an endoscope introducer and attach the introducer to an instrument package containing an instrument that is used with the introducer. The disclosed foldable package comprises openings and flaps that retain both the proximal and distal ends of the introducer, and a proximal flap overlies the introducer. The proximal flap is used to release the package and expose the introducer, permitting it to be removed in one smooth motion. Methods of providing prepackaged surgical instruments for a procedure are also disclosed.

Abstract: This invention is for a packaging pad preventing wrinkles of caps with eyeshades. It is composed of many half-arc-shaped cutting portions to fix eyeshades, which are parts of caps, in an orderly manner, a supporting hole installed at one side of the pad which enables its hanging on the wall, and small holes installed at both ends of half-arc-shaped cutting portions to prevent ripping-off of the cutting portions.

Abstract: A package for a medical specimen slide formed by a sheet foldable to a packaged condition has end panels and side panels joined to a central base portion of the sheet, each end panel having corner portions foldable to a crush resistant configuration so as to support the end panels and the side panels away from contact with the specimen slide. The package sheet also has a slide retainer consisting of two cuts in the sheet spaced to define a retaining band under which is inserted the specimen slide for retention to the package sheet.

Abstract: A gift package containing a flashlight of the type that can be activated by pressing upon the front thereof is combined with a greeting card to provide an enhanced greeting. The combined unit is formed from a unitary blank die cut and scored for folding into a gift package on one side of a hinge fold and greeting card on the other side. A thermoformed gift holder may be arranged within the gift package for display of the gift through a framed window. The gift package gift therein may be arranged and displayed to constitute part of the greeting.

Abstract: A merchandise display strip includes an elongated plastic strip having a mounting portion and an article suspending portion. The article suspending portion includes a first panel, a second panel, and fingers on each of the panels for suspending an article from a respective one of the first and second panels. A fold line separates the first and second panels and enables these panels to be folded in relation to each other so that at least two articles can be supported by the article suspending portion, one from each of the two panels. A third panel is provided on the article suspending portion such that it is interposed between the first and second panels and the mounting portion. The mounting portion enables the merchandise display strip to be supported from a pricing channel, a shelf, or a hook. If desired, the first and second panels can be secured to each other by adhesive, by fasteners or by inter-engaging tabs.

The incisions provide upwardly extending tabs hinged to the body of the strip at their base between the lower ends of the legs. At least some of the tabs are deflected about their base outwardly of the plane of the body of the strip to form upwardly extending hooks, and articles of merchandise are supported on these hooks. The tabs have horizontally extending ears on their upper ends to securely seat in hanger apertures of blister cards and the like whereby one ear on one side of the tab is greater in length than an opposite ear on the other side of the tab. The strip has an aperture adjacent its upper end to receive a hanger prong to suspend the assembly.

Each recess (12) has an extension, which is larger than the diameter of the tubular portion (2)5 of the teat cup liner, but less than the diameter of the head portion (26) of the teat cup liner. The tubular portions (25) of the teat cup liners extend through the recesses (12) and along the wall portion (2) substantially parallel with each other, so that the teat cup liners are supported by the support flap (3) and the wall portion (2), the head portions (26) abutting against the support flap (3).

Abstract: A collapsible display system includes an elongated plastic strip having a series of tabs which hold display items and a series of creases or perforations which can be fan-folded. In loaded and collapsed form, display items may be locked onto the strip and the assembly assumes a manageable shape. When the strip is extended, the items on it are layered, have a somewhat flat profile, and can be reached individually. This collapsible display system improves on previous designs because it can be preloaded, shipped in a compact shape, and readily set up on a store shelf.
