Abstract: A convertible apparel rack functions as a multi-purpose rack that can display garments, shoes, or a combination of both, by changing out the hanger bars. Further, the rack can be changed from a single rack to a dual rack by removing or inserting uprights on a standard base. The apparel hanger bars are solid and of sufficient strength to allow dense packing of apparel without mechanical failure. The shoe hanger bars have a gap to allow shoes to be clipped on. Further, the convertible apparel rack can display a single rack of items or can be configured to display two racks of items.

Abstract: A desk top safety partition preferably includes a sheet frame, a clear flexible sheet and a pair of legs. The sheet frame includes a pair of vertical poles, a pair of horizontal poles and four pole connectors. Each pole connector includes a side hole and a lengthwise bore. The side hole and the lengthwise bore are sized to receive the poles. Two pole connectors are pushed on to each end of a horizontal pole to form a top support and a bottom support. The clear flexible sheet includes pole loops to receive the vertical poles. Each leg preferably includes a leg pole and three pole connectors. A bottom of the vertical poles are inserted into pole connectors of the pair of legs. A C-shaped safety partition includes three sheet frames, three clear flexible sheets, a plurality of pole connectors and a plurality of routing clamps.

Abstract: The invention provides a unique and multifunctional Bedding Rack design in wood and metal materials for the storage and display of King- and Queen-Size Comforter Sets composed of bedspreads such as quilts, comforters, and duvets and a plurality of pillows and shams, and other bedding and sleep-related items. The Bedding Rack consists of two decorative vertical stanchions with hooks for hanging sleep apparel, one or two top rails for supporting the bedspread, two mid-level shelves composed of rails and cross bars for storing pillows and shams, a preformed lower level shelf for storing slippers and items too small for the mid-level shelves, and extended feet supporting the stanchions to provide stability. Abstract: A modular upright for an exercise equipment superstructure has a base with a floor plate and a stub, a lower tubular upright portion, a connector and an upper tubular upright portion. The lower tubular upright portion and the upper tubular upright portion both have openings defined at regular intervals along their length for supporting exercise equipment accessories, as well as correspondingly positioned openings in the stub and the connector so fasteners can be used for connection of the components. The stub, the upright portions and the connector are all formed of tubing, sized so none of the columnar load stresses the connector or the stub or the fasteners.

Abstract: A modular storage system capable of mounting storage fixtures such as shelves, drawers, rods, desks, hampers, trash cans and the like in various configurations without the use of tools and fastener hardware. The system includes vertical side panels capable of being mounted to a horizontal support rail, which is attached to a wall, in various configurations allowing the system to be mounted and rearranged against the wall without the use of tools and hardware. The vertical side panels include a plurality of support cleats that mate with the storage fixtures and provide for self-locking of the storage fixtures in the system so that they can be mounted and rearranged without the use of tools and hardware.

A plurality of specialized, sturdy, lightweight, integrally molded main panels (10) are provided, which may be hanged upon a hanger track (16) mounted upon a vertical wall (15). The main panels (10) are shaped to define shelf ledges (26) therein upon which shelves (18, 20) may be easily but securely placed. Defined in the fronts of the panels (10) are one or more wardrobe hooks (22) into which wardrobe rods (14, 14?) may be placed. Special hook bodies (53, 120) for the wardrobe rods (14, 14?) and flange elements (44, 47) for the panel wardrobe hooks (22) promote secure engagement of the wardrobe rods (14, 14?) with respective pairs of panels (10). A wardrobe rod (14?) is telescopically adjustable, and special hook body (120) adds versatility.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for providing permanent creases in articles of clothing such as pants, lined dress pants and shirt sleeves in which the stand has one or two legs connected to a vertical support which in turn is connected to a base. A garment support tray is affixed to the vertical support struts and the base. Each leg has a groove therein which is adapted to receive a V-shaped channel that is affixed preferably by adhesive material to the groove. The V-shaped channel is adapted to receive a preformed crease to an article of clothing therein so that an applicator can be guided along the garments inverted interior crease length depositing adhesive which after curing makes the crease permanent.

Accessories, including storage shelves and cabinets, and work surfaces are releasably supported by the posts at various positions relative to the shelf length and the post spacing. Support brackets interconnect accessories and posts. Each post has at least two accessory support rails extending along the post length. A support bracket engages a selected rail. Spaced support bracket receptacles extend along a length of the accessory and a support bracket engages a selected bracket receptacle. The beams may be removed from respective posts without moving the posts and may also be length adjustable.

Abstract: A flue spacer for providing a flue space in a storage rack having a transversely extending spacer surface and first and second legs. The first and second legs extend from the spacer surface and are adapted to attach the spacer surface to at least two uprights of the storage rack so that the spacer surface is offset from the uprights to form a vertical flue space within the storage rack. At least one of the legs may be adapted to attach to a lateral surface of an upright. The flue spacer also may be adapted to extend across multiple storage racks. A shelving system using the flue spacer is also provided.

Abstract: A ventilated cage and rack system for assembly by a user using simple tools and a method for assembly is provided. A plurality of frames and vertical plenums can be connected to a base, and a retaining assembly can be used to connect a plurality of vertical beams and horizontal support beams. A plurality of canopies is preferably used to connect the plenums and the support beams to shroud cages beneath the canopies. The canopies preferably include removable side walls to adapt to the width of the cage being shrouded. A plenum clean out system preferably provides a relatively simple method of draining a cleaning fluid from a plenum by moving a lever between an open and closed position. A pressure based plenum system is also provided wherein a constant air pressure is maintained in the ventilated rack system and air is provided into a cage at a constant air pressure.

The storage unit is configured to enable a user to arrange one or more compartments in a wide variety of configurations or patterns within the storage unit to optimize utility and aesthetic appeal. A storage compartment is formed by a suspended web of elongate flexible material having first and second hanger members respectively secured to the web at locations spaced along the web length. The first and second hanger members are configured to be supported by one or more rails at respective first and second locations longitudinally spaced along the rails. The hanger members suspend the web so that first and second spaced web portions hang substantially vertically bridged by an intermediate web portion suitable for supporting various objects, e.g., books.

Abstract: A utility rack for pickup trucks with a pair of rack assemblies configured to carry cargo above a pickup truck bed. The rack is easily installed and removed without requiring drilling or other modifications to the pickup truck and is configured to carry heavy loads while utilizing relatively lighter weight materials. The rack assemblies have an elongated main body member with support assemblies at each end and a clamp assembly for securing the support assemblies to the truck bedrails. Each support assembly has two legs and a base member forming a triangular configuration with a receiver member disposed at the upper ends of the legs to connect to the main body member. The legs pivotally mount to the base member to allow the base member to correspond to the angle of the bedrails. One or both rack assemblies can be a sawhorse for use off of the pickup truck.

Abstract: A fixture for use in a retail store is provided including a loop formed from a conductive material and adapted to support hanging articles, the loop having a first and second end, the first and second ends each connected to an insulator member, the first end being electrically insulated from the second end by the insulator member, and an RFID reader connected to each of the first end and the second end of the loop. A circuit is formed by the loop and the RFID reader, wherein the loop provides an antenna function for the RFID reader. A method of retrofitting a fixture for use in a retail store is also provided.

Abstract: A clothes rack includes a hanging tube, two spaced connectors each mounted on the hanging tube, two substantially T-shaped support seats each mounted on the respective connector, and a top frame detachably mounted between the two support seats. Thus, each of the side rails of the top frame is pressed directly into the slot of the respective support seat, so that the top frame is mounted onto the support seats easily and quickly, thereby facilitating the user mounting the top frame.

Abstract: An adjustable automotive clothes rod assembly having multiple telescoping clothes rod segments that may be securely attached to one another through a T-shaped male member having a pair of wings and a keyhole-shaped female member having a pair of channels for accepting the wings of the male member. Each of the clothing rod segments comprises an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve that is sized to permit it to move in telescopic relation to the outer sleeve. The end of the inner sleeve includes a retaining end member for attaching the clothes rod assembly to the inside of a vehicle. In a preferred embodiment, the retaining end member includes both a loop and a hook for attaching to a hook or a handle of a vehicle, respectively. The inner sleeve also preferably may be selectively secured within the outer sleeve to maintain the clothes rod assembly in either extended or retracted position.

Abstract: A shoe rack has two supports respectively and detachably mounted on top of the two elongated bases, a top tube detachably connected to free ends of the two supports via connectors and multiple shoe resting brackets sandwiched between the two supports. Each shoe resting bracket is adjustably connected to the two supports via a fixture which a first cutout, a second cutout, a first indentation defined in a side face defining the first cutout and a second indentation defined in a side face defining the second cutout. When the rods are received in the first cutout and the second cutout, the shoe resting bracket is tilted relative to a horizontal surface and when the two rods are received in the first indentation and the second indentation, the shoe resting bracket is parallel to the horizontal surface.

Abstract: A convenient and useful holder for elongated implements, such as fishing rods, baseball bats, golf clubs, or other tools. The holder comprises a series of elongated parallel compartments with a vertical wall between and separating adjacent compartments. The top of each wall has a horizontal ribbed member, so that each wall has a T-shaped cross section. The tops of the walls thus cooperate to provide a platform (with or without slots) that one can step or walk upon or use as a utility surface. The compartments have a flat bottom that extends beyond the ends of the walls. A series of short dividers corresponding to the vertical walls extend up from the bottom, thereby forming spaces for the reels of fishing rods, or heads of gold clubs, etc. The holder may be made of two aligned and separated subholders and can be padded on one end to protect the reels of fishing rods. It is especially suitable for use on a deck of a boat, a dock, the ground, or another platform.

Abstract: A store fixture for displaying apparel or other hangable merchandise employs a horizontal support bar that is supported at an elevated position, and at least one swing-arm hang bar is pivotally supported situated underneath the horizontal support bar. The swing-arm hang bar has one or more projecting rods or tubes serving as arms on which the hangable merchandise can be suspended. The swing arm has a sleeve journaled on a pivot that is affixed to the support arm. There is a detent arrangement provided between the pivot and the sleeve, so that the swing-arm hang bar releasably locks into a first position that is at one angle to the horizontal support bar, parallel to the support bar, and a second position that is at another angle, a right angle, to it. Store personnel can change the orientation of the hang bars by simply lifting them up slightly to release the detents and ten rotating them to the desired position. Re-arranging the hang bars does not require any tools, nor removal or installation of any parts.

The joint has a second finger to be movably received in the first limiting recess such that the first leg is able to align with the second leg for storage.

Abstract: Brackets for a clotheshorse are used in pairs. Each bracket has multiple collars that align respectively with multiple collars defined in the other opposite bracket. A vertical socket is formed at a bottom of the bracket in which a telescoping rod of the clotheshorse is mounted. Multiple slots are vertically defined in the bracket and extend inward to respectively communicate with the multiple collars to hold longitudinal members of a rack inside the multiple collars through the slots. Thereby, a bracket assembly mounted on the clotheshorse enables versatile accessories to be mounted on the clotheshorse.

Abstract: Modular display rack systems, which are easily configurable, have interchangeable components, and are capable of being packaged and shipped in small containers, are described. Preferred methods for using modular display rack systems are also disclosed. In some of the embodiments disclosed, one or more ladder racks are used to erect a single tower modular display rack, a two tower modular display rack and so forth. Each ladder rack used to construct the modular display rack system may include a support base pivotally attached via a pivot pin to a lower portion of the ladder rack. The support base supports the load of the ladder rack and the modular display rack system and also pivots to a folded position if desired.

The adjustment mechanism is configured to reduce binding thereof by supporting the actuator member in more than one location to maintain desirable contact between the wedge element and the ramp and the inner wall of the one of the pair of shafts, providing for an increased range of movement of the wedge element along the ramp to prevent undesirable frictional engagement between the actuator member and the ramp, and by providing a stop to substantially maintain the wedge element from unintentionally withdrawing into the inner shaft and wedged therein.

The first member is coupled to the generally extending members of the second member. This first member allows for support, helps an individual move the speaker rack into different positions easily and acts as a place to hang towels, clothing and the like. Multi-position detents attach to the second member and allow for the speaker rack to be placed in an extreme upward position, an extreme downward position and positions in between. Speakers that can be swivel and pivotally mounted attach to speaker attachment means on the generally extending members of the second member and speaker wiring may run through an aperture in the second member and attach to an output device allowing for entertainment while in or around the spa.
