Abstract: A riving knife mounting assembly rigidly and accurately positions the riving knife relative to the cutting blade by way of a simple and intuitive mechanism. Interaction between a clamping plate and a locking plate engage opposite sides of the riving knife to hold the riving knife in place, and provides a sensible indication that the two components are properly mated. A cam lever assembly allows loosening or tightening the clamping plate and locking plate together about the riving knife by simply rotation of the lever. A spring assembly maintains pressure on the riving knife even in the loosened position to maintain proper positioning of the components. The clamping plate is part of a mounting bracket that is mounted to a motor arm movable with the drive assembly, and includes adjustment screws for adjusting the orientation of the riving knife relative to the cutting blade in multiple degrees of freedom.

Liquid is provided to an area of the paper product to be cut, so that the paper product can be easily cut with a relatively small force.

Abstract: The present invention provides a dispenser for dispensing pre-cut sheets from a roll or a web material to a user in need of the web material. The dispenser contains a product identification sensor in communication with a control circuit. This product identification sensor detects and identifies information about the roll of the web material placed in the holder and relays this information to the control circuit. The control circuit adjusts dispensing parameters for the actuator roller in dispensing a sheet of the web material from the dispenser.

The apparatus uses tape attached to the false eyelashes spun about a cylinder that the eyelashes spin off to a point at the front of the apparatus where the false eyelashes separate from the tape and the tape then rolls on to a second cylinder. In one embodiment, the apparatus's casing may be separated and the cylinders removed so new ones can be added to replace the old.

A selected size roll of material used to wrap food products is mounted in a housing. The leading edge of the roll of material is fed through a slot in the housing. At least one roll of labels is staged in a storage area in the housing. The leading edge of the labels is fed through a label feeding system. At least one writing implement is preferably staged in the storage area in the housing. The leading edge of the roll of material is pulled to a selected length to be used to wrap a food product. A cutting apparatus is used to cut the selected length of material. The food product is wrapped with the selected length of material. A label is removed from the roll of labels, marked with the staged writing implement and placed on the wrapped food product.

The film storage box (or the wrap film storage box) is characterized in that the grip member is formed over the entire width of the front plate of the film storage box and is lifted in a curved shape by using a repulsive force generated by adhering an edge fold strip provided at the upper end edge of the front plate to the rear surface of the front plate, and durability is imparted by employing portions of the fold lines of the both side faces of the front plate as the both side portions of the grip member.

Abstract: A towelette dispenser is provided with an integrally molded lid. The lid has a central aperture for allowing access to a roll of towelettes maintained within a tub receiving the lid therein. The separation bar bridges the aperture, and provides a rip fence in the form of a fingered thimble that is angled with respect to the lid as a whole. The thimble is offset near one edge of the annular opening so that a user may access the back side thereof to thread an edge of the leading towelette through the thimble without having to remove the lid from the tub. A well is provided in the smaller portion of the aperture and a cap for the lid is provided with a stuffer tab to urge the leading edge of the next towelette into the well when the cap is closed. Barrier caps are also provided to seal the interior of the tub during shipment and storage before the first use of the towelette dispenser.

Additional capabilities can be added such as a ribbon curler and a glue stick. Abstract: Methods and apparatus may permit the storage of flexible sheet materials in a space-efficient manner and may provide a continuous point-of-use dispensing capability of such sheet materials at such stored location. Serially joined sheet materials may be separated from one another at sheet materials separation zones utilizing interference tabs having yieldable configurations, intra-planar configurations, trans-axial configurations, movement resistive configurations, and projective configurations. Such interference tab configurations may permit the simplified design and construction of a sheet materials dispensation apparatus, and multiple flexible sheet materials may be serially joined for use with such configurations. A substantially rigid enclosure for storing such serially joined sheet materials and incorporating an interference tab having one or more of such configurations may be dimensioned to dispense sheet materials from within an open-ended receptacle, for example a refuse container.

Thus, structure strength of the tape dispenser is increased.

Abstract: An adapter for a support enclosure bin for a roll of thermoplastic bags is described. The bin has a half round cylindrical wall, first and second vertical side walls attached to a supporting rim. The rim has spaced apertures for mounting the bin to a surface that has an opening that permits passage of outer surfaces of the walls but not the rim. The side walls have integral channels that provide support for a rod for a wide roll of bags. The adapter includes first and second bag dispensers for vertically folded coreless roll mounted bags. Each of the dispensers has first and second side panels that are attached together with a connecting link that aligns the front edges and bottom edges of the dispensers. First and second axles are mounted adjacent the outer side panels of the dispensers with positioning wheels that engage the integral channels of the bin.

The clockwise wound roll tape has its adhesive surface facing upward as the tape crosses the roller. The counter clockwise wound roll tape has its adhesive surface facing downward as the tape crosses the roller. The clockwise wound roll tape is positioned beneath the counter clockwise wound tape as the tape passes through the guide. This results in the counter clockwise tape being joined to the clockwise tape as both tapes pass over the roller. The resulting double sided adhesive tape is then formed into desired lengths by the cutter.

Alternatively the cutter blade can be disposed for operating in a slotted track to which the cutting blade is attached providing access to the free end of the roll material after each cut.

The invention consists of wax, polymer or other biocompatible flexible material formed into either strips or individual pieces. A dual power supply system provides a mechanical lock-out functionality, and the control system is protected from electrostatic build-up on the surface of the feed roller. The web sensor, and an antenna plate of the capacitive sensing system, are provided on respective printed circuit boards mounted in overlying relation. Utilizing signals received from the pair of web sensors and the capacitive sensing system, the control circuitry senses the presence of a user to activate the powered drive mechanism, and prevents further dispensing of the sheet material until a previously dispensed segment is separated from the roll.

Abstract: The present invention provides a pill splitter. The pill splitter includes a main body with a top housing and a bottom housing having a blade mounted thereto. The top housing has a slot defined therein for receipt of the blade. The top housing moves relative to the bottom housing between a protected position and a cutting position. In the protected position, the top housing resides in front of the blade to prevent a user from contacting the blade. In one embodiment, a retainer moves between the blade mount and the bottom surface of the pill seat to prevent movement thereof. In the cutting position, the blade is routed through the slot in the top housing thereby exposing a cutting edge thereof for cutting a pill. The retainer clears from between the blade mount and the bottom source of the pill seat to allow movement thereof.

The cutter traverses the flap slot when contacting the hard flat polymeric sheet, thereby severing the fully supported wrapping paper in a reliable, efficient manner. The cutter may be a separate cutting implement, such as a razor blade or knife. It may alternatively comprise an integral, spring loaded, slidable cutter that rides in the flap slot.

A block and a shaft spaced from each other are provided at the outlet. The case is provided with a pair of fixtures at opposite sides of the housing. The cover is pivotally connected to the case to cover the housing, and comprises a serrated edge in relation to the outlet. The toilet paper passing through the block and shaft can be torn off with the serrated edge, and the remaining toilet paper will be blocked by the block and the shaft from retracting into the case.

The wiper plate has an elastic member with an end urging the shield toward the first position. No independent spring is included to reduce a number of elements and a cost of manufacture.

The spring is mounted in the housing. The releasing sheets are mounted in the housing. When pulling the adhesive tape, a user can hold the releasing sheet so the user's fingers do not touch adhesive on the adhesive tape.
