Each carrying unit is configured for a plurality of the condiment bottles to be mountable thereon and arranged in a left-right direction so as to conveniently store and get access to the condiment bottles.

Abstract: A packaging system for fragile items comprising an outer box, a tray insert and a plurality of inner boxes. The system components protect the items, for example, glass pipes, during distribution, and easily convert into a display system for the items at the point of retail sale. Each item is contained in its own inner box, which includes one or more viewing windows to allow a purchaser easily to view the items. The inner boxes fit removably within paired holes in the tray insert, which provides multiple points of contact to hold the boxes in place, yet allows flexibility to protect the items from impact forces and to allow easy access by a purchaser. The tray insert fits within the outer box, which provides impact and debris protection during transit, and converts to a display mode. Both the outer box and each inner box may be marked with a code to allow inventory tracking.

Abstract: A food and condiment container having a first storage space for a food item and a second storage space for a condiment. The container includes a paperboard carton and an appliqué fold-out pocket affixed thereto and moveable between open and closed positions for receiving a condiment The pocket includes a front panel, a back panel, and first and second side panels extending therebetween. The back panel is joined to the carton, and the front panel is joined to the back panel along a portion thereof to hinge forward from the back panel. The side panels are connected between the front and back panels and are collapsible along a crease extending the vertical length of the side panels. Prior to use, the appliqué pocket remains flush with the carton and is opened along a perforation line to form a storage space for a condiment.

Abstract: The various embodiments of the present invention comprise a single blank design for a recyclable food container, which includes a majority recyclable portion and a detachable product support pad portion. Once the blank is erected, the detachable product support pad forms the base of the food container and may bear the weight of food product, such as pizza. After use by a consumer, the soiled detachable product support pad may be detached and discarded, thus allowing the remainder of the food container to be recycled. The detachable product support pad also protects the other parts of the food container from grease or other food by-products, thus encouraging recyclability.

Abstract: A convertible food transporting box consists of a single blank which, when appropriately folded, serves the dual purposes of transporting food, i.e. pizza, and elevating the box for displaying and serving the pizza. The lid section of the box has a plurality of perforated inserts as part of the lid section itself. When used to transport pizza or like food, the box is a standard pizza box type container. To convert the box to an elevated food display and serving tray, the perforated inserts are pushed out of and locked to the lid section, such that they extend outwardly from the lid section. The lid section is then rotated to a position beneath the container section, such that the extended inserts act as legs to support the box, now converted to a food tray.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a corrugated box for separately holding two items, preferably cooked pizzas. The box comprises a base portion, a shelf portion, and a lid portion, with each portion having foldable walls. The first item will be enclosed between the base portion and the shelf portion, while the second item will be enclosed within the shelf portion and the lid. Score lines are used to indicate where folds should be made. Score lines are positioned where each of the above folds should be made, and can include perforation and cut lines. The shelf portion is removable.

Abstract: A carton for holding a food product can comprise a tray and a lid. The lid can cooperate with the tray to at least partially close the carton. The carton further can comprise a hinge at least partially foldably connecting the lid and the tray. The hinge can comprise a first hinge fold line, a second hinge fold line, and a cut extending between the first hinge fold line and the second hinge fold line. The first hinge fold line and the second hinge fold line are generally aligned along a hinge axis, and the cut comprises a central portion that is generally parallel to the hinge axis and is offset from the hinge axis. Portions of a side panel of the tray are foldably connected to respective portions of a side panel of the lid along the respective first and second hinge fold lines.

The series of cuts extends more than half a length of the fold line. Each cut of the series of cuts is substantially straight. The anti-buckling mechanism further includes an upper cut line defined in the cover panel assembly.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a reducible carton formed from a one-piece unitary blank of material. The reducible carton comprises a top wall, a bottom wall, opposite side walls, a front wall and a back wall. Means enabling the reducible carton to transversely separate it into a reusable rear carton component and a discardable front carton component. The reusable carton component comprises the back wall and a rear portion of each of the top wall, the bottom wall and the side walls, wherein the rear top wall portion, the rear bottom wall portion and the rear side wall portions in the reusable carton component each terminate in a forward edge defining an open forward end of the reusable carton component. The forward edge of one of the rear top wall portion or the rear bottom wall portion defines a seal flap that is foldable into closing relationship over the open forward end of the reusable carton component. The seal flap has a locking tab on a free edge thereof.

Abstract: There is described herein a disposable clam shell food service container having a continuous sidewall which includes a novel flex-hinge panel between the lid and bottom of the container. This construction permits the container to open easily when the lid is pushed upwardly resulting in a flat tray like configuration devoid of the typical upstanding median wall or divider and which may be used as a serving plate by the consumer. The container may be easily snapped closed and locked to allow later consumption of any uneaten food products. Several additional embodiments of the invention are also presented, all of which include a continuous sidewall which ensures that the food product will remain warm and one of several lock means to secure the container in its closed condition. A triangular form of the container is also described for serving of pizza, pies and similar shaped food products.

Abstract: An expandable food carton expands to a non-trapezoidal shape when in an open and expanded state. The expanded state creates a wider top opening which provides a larger access to the interior of the package and thus to the food product. The expandable carton has a bottom end with upstanding side panels therefrom, where each side panel has at least one score line that extends between an upper end region and a lower end region. The carton has a top flap attached at an upper end of each side panel, each top flap also having a score line that extends longitudinally between an upper end region and a lower end region at a midpoint region. Upon shifting the carton into the expanded state, the side panels of the carton shift outward along their respective score lines and the top flaps of the carton fold down adjacent respective side panels and shift outward along their respective score lines.

Abstract: The present invention provides an easily disposable pizza box that may also be used as a storage container for holding leftover pizza. In the most preferable embodiment, a pull-tab cord design is used as the primary means of weakening the box structure, which facilitates separating the first box into two portions. The resulting open end of one or both portions may be readily folded shut, thereby forming a second closed box structure. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, one portion of the split first box is sized so that when the open end is folded shut, the second box is essentially half the volume of the first box.

The orifices open into the cavity and absorb moisture released from a food product stored within the container. The apparatus may also include a laterally flanging parallelepiped reservoir downwardly and angularly disposed on each side of each orifice which collects moisture seeping away from the moisture-absorbent material. An adhesive material on the rear wall attaches each strip to an inside edge of an outer wall of the food container.

The first and the second semi-containers are shaped so that, when they are connected, the respective support portions thereof form, together, a pizza seat adapted to internally contain the take-away pizza and, when they are separated, each of them can act as a dish for the pizza through the respective support portion thereof. The first and the second semi-containers are made of a washable material so that the container can be used many times.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is a combination of a pizza box and leveling device for the pizza box. The pizza box has at least one sidewall that is formed having two adjacent panels with a cavity between the adjacent panels, and, a bottom that has at least one slot. The at least one slot is substantially aligned with and provides access to the cavity. And, the leveling device has at least one portion thereof formed for insertion into the at least one slot and further into the cavity of the sidewall of the pizza box so as to detachably attach the leveling device to the pizza box.

In order to improve the thermal insulation with containers of this nature and at the same time to achieve increased stability, in particular with containers made from paper, cardboard or the like, the bottom and/or cover wall (5, 6) is formed double-walled at least in places. A one-part blank (40) is provided for the manufacture of a container of this nature.

The flat bottom section of the pizza box blank is advanced under the rollers. The parallel roller heads press parallel depressions into the flat bottom section in a direction perpendicular to the first direction of the corrugation waves. The result is that when the pizza box blank is folded into a pizza box, the bottom of the pizza box is contoured with parallel depression lines.

Abstract: A food container has an airplane configuration provided by a cardboard-like sheet having a plurality of spaced fold lines defining a number of panels that are folded along the lines and assembled to provide an airplane-like body having food compartments therein. The panels that extend to the tail of the fuselage are especially configured to provide a unitary tail fin and associated stabilizer that present the tail configuration.

The blank includes an arrangement of end panels, side panels and cover panels foldable relative to a bottom panel such that, in the erected carton, the cover panels overlap and are interlocked with the side panels by means of offset locking tabs. The end panels slant upwardly and inwardly from the bottom panel to add rigidity and save material for the carton. Abstract: The present invention is directed to a multi-product container and container blank. In accordance with the present invention, a single sheet of foldable material is cut and scored to define a container blank. The blank includes a variety of panels, flaps and tabs, that when erected, form a container that includes two container areas. The two container areas may be the same size, or they may be of different size. The container includes a top panel assembly that may be locked to close the container. In once aspect of this invention, the container is useful for application such as the pizza market where the pizza is placed in one container area and other items are placed in the second container area.

Abstract: A box-shaped container is formed with two container halves joined together for swiveling along an adjoining edge. Each of the halves comprises a bottom wall, side walls protruding away from same, and rear walls joining them at their ends. The joining edge is formed by the upper end edges of the rear walls. To improve such a box-shaped container in that removal of the food stuff is simplified in a simple constructive manner and without dispensing with the advantages of known containers and at the same time avoiding dirtying the user, the side walls of the first container half are formed with increasing height, and the side walls of the second container half are formed with decreasing height in the respective direction to the front wall.

The box is fitted with a serving tray having handles on at least two opposing sides. The serving tray is designed to fit inside the pizza box. The box may contain at least two slits in the top cover, each slit extending along the front edge, side edge or back edge. These slits are configured so that the handles from the serving tray partially fit into each slit thereby providing additional support for the overall structure of the pizza box. This allows the pizza box to be constructed of lighter material with the additional support coming from the handles of the serving tray.

Abstract: A condiment receptacle for use with a food container configured to hold a food item in the container's food chamber. The condiment receptacle attaches to or is integral with one of the container's upstanding sidewalls. The condiment receptacle comprises a front panel that extends outward from the sidewall by a first side panel and a second side panel when the receptacle is placed in the open position to define a condiment chamber for receiving a quantity of condiment therein. Each side panel has one or more fold lines to collapse the receptacle generally against the sidewall to place the receptacle in its closed position for transport and storage of the food container, which is also configured to collapse substantially flat. The condiment receptacle can also include a back panel that attaches to the sidewall with an adhesive material and/or a bottom panel, each of which further define the condiment chamber.

Abstract: According to embodiments of the invention, the secondary usefulness of a pizza spacer is increased by providing a coupling mechanism that is configured to attach the pizza spacer to other pizza spacers in order to form larger objects that have a purpose beyond that of merely functioning as a pizza spacer. For example, a pizza spacer according to some embodiments of the invention may be connected to other pizza spacers to complete a jigsaw puzzle. Other embodiments of the invention are described and claimed.

Abstract: A cupcake carrier for organizing and protecting cupcakes during storage and transit includes a container formed of a singled sheet of planar material and having flaps folded in assembly to form an upwardly opening cavity carrying an insert tray formed of a single sheet of planar material and having circular openings for lightly compressively holding the cupcakes in a grid array. The insert is sized smaller than the base of the container to provide slots about the periphery. The container includes a hinged lid having flaps that enter the slots in the closed position to reinforce the outer walls and prevent inner movement of the flaps during transit and storage.

Abstract: A fry scoop with one or two cells store food and condiments within a folded container. The fry scoop starts as a single blank with a rear panel, a rear wall, a bottom, a front wall with flanking side panels, and a front panel. The panels fold onto their respective walls, the walls fold upwardly from the bottom, and the sides then fold and attach to the rear wall. With the sides, front wall, and rear wall upright, an open top food container forms. Pulling the front and rear panels inwards opens two condiment cells. The front and rear panels have similar edge shapes and attain the same height from the bottom. The similarity between the front and the rear of the present invention allows consumers, or restaurant staff, to load the scoop from the front or the rear.
