Abstract: A belt clip for supporting an object on a user's belt includes an inward portion for insertion between the user's belt and body, having a first hinge portion on one edge thereof and including a pair of spaced-apart, flexible wings located at the other edge thereof, wherein each wing has a first locking structure thereon; an outward portion for attaching an object thereto, having a second hinge portion thereon and having a second locking structure thereon; and a hinge pin for joining said first hinge portion and said second hinge portion together in a moveable condition.

Abstract: A belt buckle includes a buckle body having a center opening, a bottom notch and an elongated top slot, a watch pivoted to the bottom notch of the buckle body and turned in and out of the center opening of the buckle body, a torsional spring connected between the buckle body and the watch to force the watch out of the center opening of the buckle body, and a locking lever turned about a pivot in the elongated top slot of the buckle body and forced by a spring in the elongated top slot into engagement with a locating groove at the top side of the watch to hold the watch in the center opening of the buckle body.

The first and second ends of the flexible strip overlap and are securably closed by the attachment means. Abstract: The present invention relates to a decorative belt loop pin for the decorating of an article of clothing and for the securement of a belt to an article of clothing. The belt loop pin comprises a rectangularly shaped frame having a central internal opening of rectangular shape. A front member is arranged to receive a decorative panel thereon. A rear member has an upper end and a lower end, the upper end having an upper standoff thereon, the lower end having a lower standoff thereon. The upper standoff has an elongated securement pin hingedly attached thereto. The lower standoff has a securement grasping member thereon. The internal opening of the rectangular frame crtically has a minimum length of about one inch, and a minimum width of about at least three-eighths of an inch, to permit a belt to be readily passed therethrough.

A bezel with a detent is retained on the outside front surface of the display structure and is held in place by a detent on a retaining member that is inserted through an opening of the belt buckle and engages the detent on the bezel. The bezel and retaining member have display windows through which the front and rear face of the coin can be viewed. The bezel, coin, and retaining member are removable from the buckle.

Abstract: A decorative concho that can be attached to the belt loops of a person's pants to provide a different "look". It consists of a decorative buckle which has three bars attached to the back of the buckle. Two of the bars are attached at the ends of the buckle and at one side of the buckle. The other end of the two bars are free. The third bar is attached between the first two bars and is permanently attached at one end to the buckle. The end that is permanently attached is adjacent the free ends of the other two bars to provide a serpentine path between the bars. The concho can be attached to the belt loops by slipping one bar at a time on the belt loop.

Abstract: A strapping structure for an optical instrument such as a camera, a video camera, a binocular and so on, which is capable of performing as more than two straps having different functions such as a grip strap and a shoulder strap. The strapping structure comprises a loop-shaped strap which is installed on the camera body, and a stopper provided on an intermediate portion of the loop-shaped strap. The stopper is shiftable along a longitudinal direction of the strap, and forms a large loop-shaped first strap serving for example as a shoulder strap and a small loop-shaped second strap serving for example as a grip strap. The loop-shaped strap, which is positioned adjacent to the camera body, is provided with a pad. This pad can be used as a pad receiving a back of hand or a shoulder pad.

A rigid frame member is encased within the plastic material and includes a loop formed at one end thereof extending from the inside face of the belt buckle to receive one end of a belt. The frame member includes a hook in an opposite end thereof connected to the loop by an intermediate portion; the hook extends outwardly from the rear face of the buckle to permit the hook to be inserted into holes provided therefor in the belt.

Abstract: A combination watch/waist belt capable of use with interchangeable faceplates, each containing a housing and watch, and having a watch releasable and removable from its housing (case) yet attached thereto wherein the watch housing is readily detachable from an adjacent pair of buckle members attached to front portions of the waist belt in a quickly releasable manner. The wearer removes the watch from its housing by depressing a retainer to observe the time when desired. The watch is connected to its housing by a retainer cord or chain, which is inserted into a rear space in the watch housing upon placement of the watch back into its housing. The watch is retained, viz., held in position, by a clip in the upper central portion of its housing and a locator member in a recess in the bottom central portion of the housing. The watch is mounted on the central portion of the belt at the front of the wearer's waist.

One of the assemblies includes a projection snugly received through the opening and the other assembly includes a threaded shank threadedly engaged in a threaded bore formed in the projection and the two assemblies define abutment surfaces between which portions of the belt strap disposed about the opening are received.

The finished belt buckle includes an unfinished coextruded molded plastic buckle having a thick flexible plastic front layer of light color and a relatively thin rigid plastic back layer of relatively dark color, and a fiom of finish disposed on the exposed surface of the buckle front layer. The finished belt has in combination the finished belt strap and the finished belt buckle with the light colors being the same, the dark colors being the same, and the finish colors being the same.

Abstract: A U-shaped belt buckle is pivotally connected to a buckle tongue and key retainer which includes an elongated tongue body terminating at one end in a tongue tip, the other end of the tongue body forming a part of the key retainer. The key retainer includes an elongated hollow housing being open at opposite ends to form a sleeve through which a key may extend in the direction of the tongue tip. Shoulder wall portions at the key receiving end of the hollow housing serve to abut with the head of the key for positioning the key in the housing. The belt has an opening adapted to receive the elongated tongue body and hollow housing, with belt fastener snap buttons positioned on the belt to also function to retain the key by abutting with the head of the key. When the key is needed, the wearer simply opens the snap buttons and removes the key from the key retainer.

Abstract: A revolver holder for revolvers of the type having a cylinder retention pin which includes a spring biased keeper. The holder includes a plate member defining a recess for placement of the cylinder; a first stud operable to engage the back of the hammer; a second stud operable to engage the frame; and a third stud provided with an aperture for receiving the keeper. A keeper engagement pin reciprocally movable within the aperture is pushed to dislodge the spring biased keeper from the aperture for removal of the revolver from the holder. The third stud also may include a stud placement adjustment for adapting to revolvers having slightly different dimensions. The first and second studs may be provided with shoulders to prevent contact between the frame, cylinder, and barrel of the revolver with the holder. Proper spacing of the studs prevents mounting of the revolver onto the holder when the hammer chamber of the cylinder contains a cartridge.

Abstract: A survival belt buckle is provided with a compartment for retaining a multiplicity of items for aiding in the survival of the user in wilderness areas and the like. A knife blade is dimensionally sized to fit within the compartment and is releasably attachable to a portion of the survival belt buckle to permit the buckle to act as a handle therefor. The survival belt buckle includes indicia associated therewith providing a basic description of survival techniques and skills allowing the buckle to be used with maximum efficiency by inexperienced persons.

Abstract: An adjustable buckle system that includes an outer plate member secured to the inner surface of the outer flap of a pair of pants and an inner plate member secured to the outer surface of the inner flap. The outer plate has a pair of opposed gripping channels adapted to slidingly receive the inner plate. A plate spring secured to the inner plate is also positioned in the channels and biases the inner plate against the outer plate. The outer plate has a plurality of spaced stop elements that can be slidingly engaged with a single stop element on the inner plate so that the two plates are locked into a lateral engaged mode at a selected lateral position. The inner plate can be pulled from the outer plate so as to disengage the engaged stop elements so as to allow lateral movement of the two plates to either a new lateral engaged position or to disengagement of the two plates.

Abstract: A buckle comprising a decorative outer frame having a circumferential top wall and opposed depending side walls extending rearwardly of the top wall. A channel is defined between the depending side walls under the top wall. A casted back member is provided with a projection portion which is configured to be received in the channel. The outer frame is retained on the casted back member by bending the outer one of the side walls under the projection portion which is received at least in part in the channel. The casted back may have a variety of designs and attachments all formed in a single casting.

A loop adapted to engage through the end of a belt has a short pintle and a long pintle extending in the same direction from the loop in line with one another. The short pintle normally extends on the axis through the eye pivot and the long pintle normally extends in a fully engaged position on the axis through and at least a predetermined axial distance in one axial direction past the slotted pivot. A retainer formation is provided on the rear face spaced axially less than the predetermined distance in the one direction from the slotted pivot and normally bearing radially on the long pintle in the fully engaged position thereof to hold it in the slotted pivot. A radial projection is provided on the long pintle axially offset in the one axial direction in the fully engaged position thereof from the slotted pivot by the predetermined distance.

The buckle is particularly suited for closing pants, and eliminating the top button closure on the pants over the fly. Abstract: The specification discloses a belt buckle for holding a can of smokeless tobacco which includes a plate for attachment to a belt and a clasp to join the ends of the belt. A cylindrically-shaped recess is formed in the plate which has a diameter slightly larger than the can of smokeless tobacco, and three lugs are mounted on the plate adjacent to the recess adjacent the lower 180.degree. portion of the recess. The can is inserted in a downward direction into the recess between the recess and the lugs. The recess and the lugs act cooperatively to compress and flex the can of smokeless tobacco during insertion and a locking action is effected on the can of smokeless tobacco when the can returns to its original configuration when disposed within the recess.

Abstract: Described is a belt buckle to which may be attached a tool in the form of a flat plate. The buckle body is formed by a fitting case and a base plate mounted to the rear surface of the fitting case. A leaf spring is mounted in the buckle body for pressingly holding the tool in the housed state. The plate spring has a pair of short strips for acting on the central part of the tool and a long strip for acting on the inner end of the tool. The upper and lower sides of the foremost portions of the fitting case are bent back to provide an engaging portion for preventing inadvertent withdrawal of the tool from the buckle body. When withdrawing the tool housed in the buckle body, it is only necessary to apply finger pressure on the end of the tool exposed through the central end notch of the fitting case.
