The fixed position defining a tensioned segment of the hose, extending from said connector to the mask. The pre-determined tension is selected to support the tensioned segment of the hose away from the user, and wherein said tape extends and retracts in response to movement of the user, thereby maintaining the tensioned segment away from the user.

    Abstract: A water pump assembly includes a frame having a mount for mounting the frame to a vehicle. A water pump is mounted within a bottom bowl on the frame and is substantially surround by an encircling U-shaped foot to protect the water pump from damage. A pivotal arch is carried on the frame and a water discharge nozzle is carried on the arch. A flexible conduit connects the nozzle to an outlet of the water pump. Pivoting of the arch flexes the conduit in a fore and aft direction to raise or lower the trajectory of the water stream being thrown from the nozzle. In addition, pivoting of the nozzle about a vertical axis on the arch laterally changes the direction of throw of the water stream by flexing or twisting the conduit in a side to side manner. The nozzle is carried on the arch using a nozzle support sleeve in which the nozzle is free to slide back and forth to accommodate changes in the orientation of the conduit.

In another embodiment, one or more slotted cylindrical elements serve as a support for the drain hose. A plurality of pairs of descending length legs are detachably attachable within opposed channels depending from the support to place the support at an incline and enhance the flow of fluid through the drain hose.

The mouth is sized and shaped to urge a pipe to reside in the mouth substantially orthogonal to the handle and at an angle other than 90 degrees from a plane of the slant piece. During use, the base of the device is fixed to a mounting surface, such as a roof, with as few as two nails. The hose is then passed through an aperture in the device. An adjustable slip latch mounted above the aperture has a half-circle cut into it. By moving and fixing the adjustable slip latch closer to or farther away from the aperture, the adjustable slip latch covers more or less of the aperture, and the half-circle completes the circular shape of the aperture to make the aperture smaller or larger. Thus, different size hoses may be held in place with the single device. The device need only be mounted once for an entire job, since the hose may be pulled through and held at different lengths within the aperture of the device, by simply adjusting the slip latch.
