Abstract: A grave marker assembly that can be removably mounted and secured to a support surface such as a lawn crypt lid. The grave marker assembly has a fastening system that is not exposed to view and yet allows the grave marker to be easily installed and removed. The fastening system includes a channel and interior opening formed on a base member that is adapted to receive a fastener. The fastener in turn is adapted to be inserted into an opening formed on the crypt lid or other support surface. The assembly further includes a multi-function frame disposed along the outer periphery of the memorial marker that can serve as a decorative feature and draining functions.

Abstract: A lawn crypt covering system that provides a substantially continuous exterior surface between adjacent crypts is disclosed. The covering system includes a plurality of crypt lid covering and at least one insert that slidably engages with the crypt lid coverings of two adjacent crypts. The insert interlocks with the two crypt lid coverings, thereby covering the gap between the two crypts and provides a stable support surface to people to walk on without getting the heel of the shoe stuck in the gap. The interlocking mechanism allows a side edge of the insert to mate with a side edge of each crypt lid covering.

Abstract: A lawn crypt covering system that can be easily attached to and removed from a crypt lid is provided. The covering system generally includes a lightweight, rigid base and an artificial lawn attached thereto. The covering system is adapted to removably attach to mounting structures formed on the crypt lid by using fasteners. The mounting structures are configured to receive fasteners for attaching the covering system to the lid. Recessed areas can be formed on the crypt lid to accommodate the mounting structures. A leveling device such as shims can also be placed between the lightweight base and crypt lid to adjust for settling of the crypts over time.

Abstract: A grave site cover is disclosed comprising a snap-together heavy plastic tube frame, fittings and couplings, an artificial turf cover, transparent identification insert and anchor stakes. The artificial turf cover is rolled over and along the outside frame edge and attached with self-tapping stainless steel flange head screws. Three- and four-way fittings are provided at all four corners for inserting the ground anchor takes, additional fittings are provided at the center point and head marker for inserting ground anchor stakes, used for securely holding the grave site cover in place. The artificial turf grave cover may be fabricated in a variety of colors, with images, text, art or other décor. Said grave site cover can be hand assembled and easily installed, is weather resistant, durable and economical to manufacture, thereby providing a neat, dignified, maintenance-free and durable grave site cover.

Abstract: The present invention is a metal memorial marker and a method of making the same. The invented marker is made of metal, preferably ⅛″ to ½″ thick, preferably with steel-chromium alloys, such as stainless steel, or a non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum, brass, bronze, or copper. The present invention is created by taking a plate of the metal and making markings upon one of the surfaces of the plate, said markings denoting a decoration. A computer could be used to guide the cutting equipment by following a preprogrammed template, and as such markings upon one of the surfaces of the plate would not necessarily be necessary. A wateijet, plasma cutting torch, laser torch or other cutting equipment is then used to make cuts along the markings made on the surface of the plate. Cutting the plate in such a manner results in the creation of openings through the plate, said openings when viewed together forming a decorative pattern.

The outer shell for the lower containment compartment has an upper edge portion that extends completely around the upper edge of the lower compartment. A fusible element, such as an outwardly extending plastic flange, is provided around the upper edge portion completely around the lower containment compartment. A cover for the vault has an outer shell that includes a lower edge portion, which likewise has a fusible element extending completely around the lower edge portion of the cover.

Abstract: A memorial flower display has a receptacle shaped to receive a flower vase. The flower vase has a plurality of engagement studs that engage mating stud receiving channels in the receptacle. The stud receiving channels each have a top slot. When the engagement studs are in the top slots, the flower vase in held in a raised position. When the user twists the flower vase with an upwardly extending handle integral with the flower vase, the engagement studs are twisted out of the top slots, allowing the engagement studs to slide down the stud receiving channels, thereby allowing the flower vase to be lowered into the receptacle to a lowered position. The memorial flower display preferably is covered with a base plate to secure the memorial flower display against theft. The base plate preferably further includes a pair of closure plates that can be moved to cover the memorial flower display for protection.

The cover is formed from an outer casing, an inner casing fitted into the outer casing and a transparent cover plate to seal one wall of the outer casing. A decorative medium may be provided in a space defined by the outer casing, the inner casing and the transparent cover plate, and the medium may be viewed through the transparent plate. Additionally, flanges extending outwardly from side walls of the outer casing may be used to anchor the cover in the ground.
