  • Patent number: 11652303
Abstract: A terminal assembly is disclosed. The terminal assembly comprises a main body having a welding platform and a first electrical conductive member having a connection terminal. According to the present invention, a welded structure is formed between the main body and the first electrical conductive member by making the connection terminal be welded on the welding platform. Briefly speaking, when utilizing this terminal assembly to make two electrical nodes be electrically connected to each other, one electrical conductive end of the main body and the first electrical conductive member are firstly connected to the two electrical nodes, respectively. Next, a welding process is applied to the welding platform and the connection terminal, such that an electrical connection is therefore established between the two electrical nodes.

Abstract: An exhaust component for an engine exhaust system includes a conduit for carrying exhaust gases, an outer wall, a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a pattern of internal support structures. The conduit, outer wall, and internal support structures are formed from an additive material using an additive manufacturing process. A water cavity is defined between the conduit and the outer wall. The fluid inlet and outlet are in fluid communication with the water cavity. The pattern of internal support structures are integral with the conduit and with the outer wall, are disposed in the water cavity, and are arranged such that fluid flows from the fluid inlet through, between, or around the internal support structures to the fluid outlet. The fluid and its flow through the water cavity is adapted to absorb heat from hot exhaust gases flowing through the conduit during operation of the engine exhaust system.

  • Patent number: 8678038
Abstract: An exhaust system includes an exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe includes an outer pipe and an inner pipe. A first through-hole and a second through-hole are provided in a peripheral surface of the outer pipe and a peripheral surface of the inner pipe, respectively, to receive an exhaust gas detector. Third through-holes are provided in the peripheral surface of the outer pipe, at a different position than that of the first through-hole. Since the third through-holes are provided in the outer pipe, a liquid can be drained promptly from a space between the outer pipe and inner pipe. Exhaust gas can be prevented from being discharged to the atmosphere by sealing the third through-holes.
