Abstract: The glove with clip is a clip on the outside of the back of a glove having a spring loaded raised lip urged against the glove or a spring base on the glove to removably hold papers, notes, instructions or lightweight material such as sand paper. The clip may be a flat metal clip having a spring base on the glove, a spring wire attached to the glove or a magnetic closure adapted to releasably hold papers or similar material used by a worker such as a plumber or electrician.

Abstract: A fruit and vegetable peeler and carving tool has a handle with a first side and second side extension extending from the front of the handle. Each side extension has a forward lever which is positionably affixed at a forward vertical plurality of lever affixment position, and a rear lever which is positionably affixed at a rear horizontal plurality of lever affixment position. The forward lever and the rear lever of each side are connected together in parallel with a depth adjustment rod is connected between them. A triangular handle-facing fruit and vegetable peeling and carving blade has a convex upper surface and a concave lower surface. By drawing the fruit and vegetable peeler and carving tool into a fruit or vegetable, the triangular handle-facing fruit and vegetable peeling and carving blade cuts into the fruit or vegetable to a depth controlled by the position of the depth adjustment rod.

In an example embodiment, the finger guard includes a rectangular reticulate or netlike pad networked in a movable manner such that a plurality of unit plate pieces are connected to one another in four directions by a plurality of connecting loop members, and at least a pair of fastening belt members provided to extend or protrude parallel with one side of the reticulate pad, wherein the finger guard is configured to be worn in the form of a protective armor such that the reticulate pad covers and wraps around the dorsal side of a finger, upon which the finger guard is to be worn, and the respective fastening belt members pass the volar side of the finger to then be connected to be hooked on to one of the unit plate pieces in a state in which a portion of the volar side of the finger is opened and exposed in a length direction of the finger.

A user may grasp the malleable handle with his/her hand(s) and the pressure from the user's grip may deform the malleable handle thereby creating an ergonomically-shaped handle customized to the user's hand(s).

Abstract: A cooking device for cutting a foodstuff into a prescribed shape. The cooking device includes a cutting portion and a handle attached to the cutting portion. The cutting portion includes a cutting blade and a guide; the cutting blade includes a wave-shaped portion in which trough portions, which recede downward in a direction approaching a foodstuff to be cut, and crest portions, which project upward in the opposite direction to the downward direction, appear alternatively; in the cutting blade, crests, which are the tops of the cutting blade crest portions, and troughs, which are the bottoms of the cutting blade trough portions, appear alternatively; and in the guide, at least a portion of a guide surface, which follows the surface of the foodstuff to be cut, is located between the cutting blade crests and cutting blade troughs in the vertical direction.

Abstract: A dc rechargeable, battery powered, food preparation device uses rapid angular displacement action thereby enabling a human operator to use barely more than the weight of the instrument's spinning cutter against a wide variety of fruit and vegetable peels ranging from dense eggplant to delicate peach, while also providing for operator safety through the use of safe-start interlock technology along with a catch-and-release safety cover over the cutting head itself. As a result the user friendly appliance scales the entire surface of common produce items while rapidly and efficiently removing the outer layer of skin in bitwise fashion as opposed to generating continuous long strings of discard material.

Abstract: A device is described which has an instrument portion secured to a sleeve/cuff portion, where the sleeve/cuff portion is configured to receive a portion of user's finger therein and to radially compress onto the user's finger to hold the instrument portion thereon. The present invention is particularly well suited for use in minimally invasive surgical procedures. The present invention also teaches a method of forming a knot in suture material as well as other techniques for treating patients.

Abstract: A brace for relief of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome employs a strap element having a thumb aperture proximate a first end and a slot adjacent a peripheral edge of the strap element to receive a fifth finger. The strap element extends from the thumb aperture to be received in a central portion across a dorsal portion of a hand. The strap element then extends around the ulnar border and across the palm of the hand past the radial border with a tail portion of the strap element overlapping the central portion. A fastener moiety is provided on the tail portion of the strap element and a mating moiety on an outer surface of the strap element to engages the fastener moiety. The strap element tensioned around the hand produces approximation of carpals and metacarpals in the hand.

Abstract: A glove for meat preparation. A variety of cutting elements are attached to the glove's thumb and fingers and allow the user to cut, care, shred slice or trim hot meat. The glove allows the user to handle the meat and also protects the user's hand from the meat's high temperature after cooking, broiling grilling or smoking.

Abstract: The utility knife device generally comprises a sheath, covering a portion of the user's hand and a blade housing which attach together at a connection point. The blade housing is made up of a casing which preferably encloses the user's index finger, a blade housed within the casing and a trigger which extends out of the casing and manipulates the blade. The blade is capable of extending outward from the casing being held in place for use. The blade is also capable of automatically retracting within the casing so that the blade is not exposed.

Abstract: A double sided peeler is disclosed. The double sided peeler has two peeler blades and a slide cover for protecting the user from the peeler blade that is not in use. Each peeler blade may have a different attribute to accommodate a wide range of fruits and vegetables. The double sided peeler has a spot tool and retainer for both removing unwanted spots from a fruit or vegetable and also for retaining the slide cover in a given position. A retention web on the slide cover cooperates with the spot tool and retainer to retain the slide cover in a given position that protects both the unused peeler blade and the user.

The inner housing is placed in an outer housing and a damper is placed between the outer handle and inner housing. Several embodiments are shown for blade loading. An alternative embodiment light weight eccentric which drives a heavier mass, but only back and forth rather than a circular pattern. This vibrating arrangement puts more lateral motion to the blade, and avoids other motion in directions not parallel to the blade.

The casing is composed of an upper cover and a lower cover detachably joined to each other oppositely with a receiving chamber formed between the two covers, a top side of the upper cover having a hand grip part and a bottom of the lower cover having a cover opening. The knife seat provides a size and a shape thereof corresponding to the cover opening for engaging with the cover opening and a bottom thereof having a cutter. Once a hand holds the handgrip part and the cutter contacts a treated food, the treated food can be cut, sliced, peeled or ground into processed products through repeated motions of the food processor and the processed products can be received in the chamber.

Abstract: A variable-speed coring tool kit for coring vegetables and fruits is provided which includes a decorative stand for charging and removably storing a decorative handle of a coring tool until needed for use. The stand includes a compartment for receiving a battery charger and a retractable reel of electric cord. Cavities are formed in the stand for receiving the coring tool handle and various coring implements to be used with the coring tool.

Abstract: The present invention consists of a safety cutter for peeling green bananas or plantains wherein a handle portion is provided adjacent a head portion which carries a peeling element with dual opposing peeling blades. The dual opposing peeling blades are relatively widely spaced apart at approximately {fraction (5/16)}″ to allow the peeling element to cut through the tough, thick skins of a green banana or plantain. The present invention is also provided with an elongate retractable cutting blade which is used to first cut off either end of the green banana or plantain to allow it to be easily peeled. The plantain or green banana peeler is preferably provided into two halves secured by a bolt which allows either, the peeling element and/or the retractable blade to be changed by the user when they become dull or worn.

The knife holder has a wing part at two opposite lateral sides thereof respectively and two frame plates at a lower portion thereof with a frame groove in between. The catch device has a button with an upper cap and a lower stop ring.

Abstract: The present invention consists of a safety cutter for peeling green bananas or plantains wherein a handle portion is provided adjacent a head portion which carries a peeling element with dual opposing peeling blades. The dual opposing peeling blades are relatively widely spaced apart at approximately {fraction (5/16)}″ to allow the peeling element to cut through the tough, thick skins of a green banana or plantain. The present invention is also provided with an elongate retractable cutting blade which is used to first cut off either end of the green banana or plantain to allow it to be easily peeled. Abstract: A grapefruit knife for use in cutting sections of edible fruit from the less desirable membrane and peel is disclosed. The present invention includes a handle having two opposing ends, a single cutting blade attached to one end of the handle, and a scooping blade attached to the other end of the handle. Each of these blades has two cutting edges. On the cutting blade the two cutting edges are aligned serially, in a plane, to cut in the same direction, while on the scooping blade the cutting edges are opposingly arranged.
