Augmented Feed To Motor Patents (Class 303/46)
  • Patent number: 11859402
Abstract: An apparatus including mechanisms for holding or guiding a fence post (or other type of post), in an essentially vertical orientation and in a relatively loose manner so that the apparatus can readily be removed part way through the post-driving activity and so that the downward driving force does not damage the apparatus. The apparatus is expandable from a compact transport configuration to a free-standing use configuration, and includes an assembly head having a connecting means for connecting a pair of pivotable 1st and 2nd support legs (each having a foot end and having an apex end pivotably connected to the assembly head and essentially opposing the apex end of the other support leg); a 3rd pivotable support leg having a 3rd foot end and a 3rd apex end pivotably connected to the assembly head (and enabling the apparatus to stand when all three support legs are pivoted outwardly); and a stabilizer support downstanding from the assembly head, and including a lower connection end.

  • Patent number: 7584042
Abstract: There is provided a new and novel vehicle running control device for correcting a yaw angle of a vehicle toward the yaw direction intended by a driver, together with vehicle stability control, through generating yaw moments. In order to accomplish the yaw angle correction, the inventive device operates a yaw moment generating apparatus e.g. a steering apparatus, so as to generate a direction correcting yaw moment based upon an integration value of the deviations between an actual yaw rate and its target value. The direction correcting yaw moment may be generated for correcting the yaw angle deviation remaining after the stability control is ended.

  • Patent number: 4174869
Abstract: A brake actuating system especially useful for applying the brakes of a towed vehicle concurrently with application of braking pressure in the towing vehicle is provided which includes a variable valve means interconnected to the towed vehicle's conventional type hydraulic brakes. The variable valve means controls the pressure applied to the brakes of the towed vehicle in response to variable electric current which is supplied via a variable current source which is interconnected to the brakes of the towing vehicle. Also provided, is a breakaway safety device which upon physical separation of the towed vehicle from the towing vehicle causes hydraulic pressure to be supplied automatically to the hydraulic brakes of the towed vehicle.
