The panel support plate defines a longitudinal slot. The system includes a tensioning apparatus extending through the longitudinal slot. The tensioning apparatus may be operated to permit the position of the panel support plate, and any attached panel, to be adjusted with respect to the panel support arm to any one of an infinite number of positions along the length of the slot. The tensioning apparatus may further be operated to secure the position of the panel support plate relative to the panel support arm.

Abstract: A food shield having a panel defining a slot through the panel and a panel support structure. The panel support structure includes a panel clamp. A portion of the panel clamp may extend through the slot, and the slot provides for the panel to be moved relative to the panel clamp, along the length of the slot, from a first position to a second position. A detent plate nests and rotates within the cavity and has two limiting surfaces between which the travel limiter of the body is disposed. One of the limiting surfaces engages a respective one of the travel limiting faces of the body at each extreme of angular rotation of the detent plate. The detent plate includes recesses for engaging one or more spring loaded ball plungers mounted in the body. Each ball plunger engages a recess in the detent plate at certain angular detent positions of the detent plate within the body. The mechanism further includes an axle on which the detent plate rotates, and a coil spring that engages the detent plate, resisting rotation of the detent plate in one rotational direction.

The tile is configured to be movable in relation to the mounting member thereby allowing selective access to a desired portion of at least one of the first and second associated merchandising structures. The connection between the protrusion and the mounting member enables movement of the tile in relation to the mounting member via at least one of pivoting and sliding.

Abstract: A cabinet lock for protecting merchandise within a merchandise display cabinet having an inner door and an outer door. The cabinet lock includes a strike plate affixed to the inner door and a lock housing affixed to the outer door such that the cabinet is in a locked configuration that prevents access to the merchandise when the lock housing is operably engaged to the strike plate. A programmable electronic key communicates a security code with the cabinet lock and transfers electrical power to the cabinet lock to operate a lock mechanism between the locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. An indicator is provided for indicating whether the cabinet lock is in the locked configuration or the unlocked configuration. The indicator includes a first segment and a second segment that can be energized to visually indicate the status of the cabinet lock.

Since each panel is attached to the joining panel by a hinge assembly, the protective cover is foldable such the panels lie in approximately parallel planes. These latching members are compatible with latching assemblies attached to the display case to affix the protective cover to the display case.

Abstract: A CRT terminal includes a main unit which houses circuitry and the CRT display. An application module which includes a keyboard plugs into the front of the main unit and electrically connects to its circuitry. A flexible membrane keyboard is employed which includes a keyboard overlay that is easily changed to provide keyboard symbols appropriate to a wide variety of different applications. Resilient bumpers extend completely around the main unit to facilitate its use in industrial applications where physical abuse is common.

Abstract: A wood-type front lighted display case is disclosed which can be assembled on-site using preinstalled cam lock fasteners. An extrusion and trim strip therefor hold the front and top glass panels in place, and are configured for easy glass replacement in the event of breakage. The extrusion also functions as a mounting for the light fixture, having an integral wireway.

Abstract: A protection chamber for temperature-sensitive or moisture-sensitive materials, comprises heat insulated wall elements which are joined in a butt joint. A semielastic sealing compound is disposed in the joint; and an additional sealing compound of a material of greater elasticity is disposed at but outside the joint. A cover profile overlies the additional sealing material and the adjacent edges of the wall elements and is arcuate in the zone of the additional sealing compound but has relatively straight wings that are secured to the wall elements on opposite sides of the additional sealing compound.

Abstract: A guard device protects vertical molding strips on vertical sidewalls of cabinets in grocery supermarkets and the like. Vertical molding strips on cabinet sidewalls are damaged by moving carts loaded with groceries, etc., engaging the molding strips and pulling the molding strips away from the cabinets. The guard device (10) includes an arcuate rail (18) which is supported so that it protrudes from the cabinet sidewall (13) to form a guide surface about the vertical molding strips (14) which directs grocery carts (15) or like wheeled objects away from contact with the molding.
