The positioning actuator configured to selectively emplace the discharge auger along the left side and the right side of the mobile frame. Once emplaced, the discharge auger discharges particulate material from the hopper toward a target location.

A material detection sensor may be disposed above the screw to detect the cooking material on the screw, and a rotational speed of the blade rollers may be controlled based on a detection result of the material detection sensor. A control device may control rotation of the blade rollers for a specified period of time after number of rotation of the screw reaches a set value. Thus, a required amount of the cooking material is constantly supplied on the screw.

    Abstract: A mixer for mixing materials, such as coarsely chopped meat, during a mixing operation prior to a grinding operation, is provided with a tub (12), mixing means such as one or more paddle assemblies, and an auger (34) in the bottom of said tub. Both the auger and the paddle assemblies may be operated in either a clockwise or a counterclockwise direction. An auger housing (38) extends from the tub and houses a portion of the auger (34) which extends from an end of the tub. An opening is provided in the auger housing (38), which is surrounded by a hopper (40). Loading of the mixer is accomplished by feeding the meat into the hopper (40). The meat passes through the opening in the auger housing (38) and is introduced into the auger (34) so as to be conveyed into the tub (12) by the auger (34) during the loading operation. The direction of rotation of the auger (34) may be reversed in order to unload the mixed meat from the mixer. A discharge means (56) cooperates with the auger (34) for unloading the mixer.

    Abstract: A machine for mixing , metering and dispensing fluids such as polyurethane, elastomers etc., composed of a number of fluid components. A valve assembly, during a recirculation cycle, receives a component from a source and returns the component to the source. During a shot cycle, the valve assembly directs at least part of the component into a mixing chamber which receives a component from another valve assembly to mix them and form, for example, polyurethane. In one embodiment, the valve assembly has a partition which divides the component entering the assembly into at least two channels, both of which direct fluid back to the source. One of the channels also has a port communicating with the mixing chamber. Each channel has a rototable ball valve, in which the one channel ball valve is rotatable to direct a predetermined amount of fluid to the mixing chamber and to the source.
