  • Patent number: 11987236
Abstract: A method provided for 3D object localization predicts pairs of 2D bounding boxes. Each pair corresponds to a detected object in each of the two consecutive input monocular images. The method generates, for each detected object, a relative motion estimation specifying a relative motion between the two images. The method constructs an object cost volume by aggregating temporal features from the two images using the pairs of 2D bounding boxes and the relative motion estimation to predict a range of object depth candidates and a confidence score for each object depth candidate and an object depth from the object depth candidates. The method updates the relative motion estimation based on the object cost volume and the object depth to provide a refined object motion and a refined object depth. The method reconstructs a 3D bounding box for each detected object based on the refined object motion and refined object depth.

The imaging system can generate a modified image based on the image data and the one or more maps, for instance by applying each of one or more image processing functions in accordance with each of the one or more maps. The imaging system can supply the image data and the one or more maps to a second machine learning system to generate the modified image.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for identifying, using a sensor, a location of an object in an environment, and determining a classification of the object. A human may be identified in proximity with the object, an identity of the human may be determined, and a determination may be made that a hazardous condition may occur, based on a combination of the location of the object, the classification of the object, and the identity of the human in proximity with the object. In response to determining that the hazardous condition may occur, an augmented reality scene associated with the potentially hazardous condition associated with the object may be generated for presentation, at a user device.

Abstract: Provided are a GPS coordinates-based target overall planning method and a camera. Said method comprises: acquiring the GPS coordinates of each tracking target (S101); for each pre-divided region, counting the number of tracking targets located in the region based on the acquired GPS coordinates of each tracking target (S102); generating a heat map of the tracking targets based on the number of the tracking targets in each region (S103). Hence, in the present method, a device generates a heat map based on the GPS coordinates of tracking targets, and the heat map can reflect the number of the tracking targets in each region, achieving the overall planning of the tracking targets.

  • Patent number: 11983883
Abstract: A computer vision method and computer vision system can be used to process a time-based series of images. For a subject image of the time-based series, a light intensity value is identified for each pixel of a set of pixels of the subject image. A light intensity threshold is defined for the subject image based on a size of a bounding region for an object detected within a previous image of the time-based series captured before the subject image. A modified image is generated for the subject image by one or both of: reducing the light intensity value of each pixel of a lower intensity subset of pixels of the subject image that is less than the light intensity threshold, and increasing the light intensity value of each pixel of a higher intensity subset of pixels of the subject image that is greater than the light intensity threshold.
