Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for creating printed tags for use in connection with a heated food item placed into a hot holding unit. System components may include a user interface, a printer, and a controller. The controller is programmed to instruct the user interface to display a prompt for an operator to input information identifying one or more characteristics of a food item positioned within or to be placed into a hot holding unit. The controller receives the information from the user interface and instructs the printer to generate a tag identifying the food item and the time at which the food item is to be removed from the hot holding unit and discarded. The tag may include a display area to display the printed information and a support area with a slit that allows the tag to be supported by a rack of the hot holding unit.

Abstract: A business card comprises front and back sides and a flap permanently attached to the business card. The flap comprises front and back sides and an adhesive on at least a portion of the flap's back side. The adhesive is capable of removably and reusably adhering to objects. The flap is foldable with respect to the business card such that the flap can be placed in at least two configurations. In a first configuration, the adhesive adheres to a portion of the back side of the business card, so that the business card is non-adhesive and can be used like a convention business card. In a second configuration, the flap aligns at least approximately with the business card, thereby presenting the flap's adhesive to be able to adhere to another object such that the front side of the business card faces outward from said another object.

Abstract: An IT identification tag for a network server panel. The identification tag is designed to be releasably secured to existing equipment screws residing at the ends of standard server panels. The identification tag includes a pivoting label panel having a generally planar surface. The planar surface is adapted to receive identifying information such as a port number or a bar code. A method of labeling a server is also provided.

Abstract: A label for use on store shelves in a retail environment. The label include adhesive strips applied to a bottom surface of each label and a top laminate layer with a release coating applied to the top surface of each label.

Abstract: A shopping cart attachment is mounted to the handlebar of a shopping cart to facilitate fast and easy installation and removal of a multi-page booklet, such as may be used to provide advertisements and/or informational material to a customer. In addition, the attachment may include a raised ledge that may be used to retain a customer's mobile phone, tablet, shopping list, coupons and/or writing utensil while shopping.

Abstract: An apparatus for marketing a brand may generally comprise coupling members and an advertising member. The advertising member may serve as a marketing tool upon which a marketer can display information to a potential consumer, thereby making a commercial impression upon an end user. Each coupling member is configured to be placed upon a hook, or to receive a hook from a hanger. For example, a coupling member may be configured to receive a plurality of hooks. Said coupling members may also be equipped with adjustors, such as to allow for the apparatus to be secured to a hook, and for the plurality of hangers to be secured to the apparatus.

Abstract: Certain embodiments disclose a corral and enclosure defined by three members having an opening configured to hold one or more shopping carts and display one or more advertisements, with two substantially parallel walls of different lengths and advertisement panels affixed on the walls, such that they are staggered. The staggered arrangement of the at least two advertisement panels facilitates better visibility and allows the simultaneous viewing of at least two advertisement panels. The longer member also further protects vehicles parked on its side from colliding with shopping carts.

Abstract: A tube container with an integral accessory panel includes a tube container formed from a selected tube material. The tube container includes a product dispensing end, an intermediate sealing portion, and a filling end opposite the product dispensing end. The sealing portion is adapted to be sealed subsequent to filling the tube container with a selected product. An accessory panel, integrally formed from the selected tube material, is provided between the intermediate sealing portion and the filling end of the tube container.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for making a stocking strip for pegboard stocking. The stocking strip includes an elongated strip containing information for locating a plurality of different products on a peg board display, a first identification number for identifying the strip, a first text area for identifying a source planogram or print job, a second text area for listing stocking location in a sales establishment which contains the pegboard display, a third text area for listing a height for the product, a demarcation for indicating a span of the position of the product on the pegboard, a product image, a product identifier, a color marker and a peg indicator for locating the peg on the pegboard display.

Abstract: A hook apparatus includes a front side and a back side. A hook extending from the front side is included for hanging objects. A shelter structure extends from the front side positioned around and apart from the hook. The shelter structure may serve as a second hook for hanging objects. A communications device extends from the body, at least a portion of which is above and spaced apart from the shelter structure. The back side of the hook apparatus is adapted to be secured to a surface. An interface adapter plate between the back side and the mounting surface may be provided to enable the securing. The communications device includes a display device that is either passive or capable of interactive communication of information. The apparatus may be operationally coupled to a remote server to alert vendors to deliver purchased products, services, and/or to provide emergency services to the user.

Abstract: The present invention provides a device for mounting a graphic holder on a display arm. The device has a body portion substantially formed of a resilient elastic material. The body portion comprises a band for securing around a display arm. As the band is resilient and elastic it can be used to mount the device on a variety of different shaped display arms. The device further comprises a neck portion attached to the body portion at a first end and having attaching means for holding the graphics holder substantially at a second end. The present invention also provides a system for displaying a graphic on a display arm comprising a device and a graphic holder.

Abstract: A handle attachment for mounting to a standardized valve mounting cup of a spray can and operating a push-type dispenser valve. The handle attachment includes a housing that defines a grip and a cap configured to couple with an outer diameter of the valve mounting cup. An actuation device is pivotally mounted to the housing and includes a trigger portion disposed adjacent the grip and a finger portion disposed within the cap for actuating the push-type dispenser valve. A C-shaped rim is disposed on the cap and defines a central opening sized to accommodate the valve mounting cup, a base located on the axis of symmetry of the rim, a circumferential gap located on the axis of symmetry diametrically opposite the base and separating two ends of the rim, and at least one slot disposed between the base and a diametrical chord perpendicular to the axis of symmetry.

Abstract: When displaying products on a display hook, labels associated with the products are oftentimes presented via a label holder affixed to the display hook. Because various display hook structures exist, an interchangeable label holder can be utilized to adjoin to the various structures. Accordingly, in one embodiment, a label holder is adapted for being affixed to both a cylindrical-shaped crossbar and a display plate crossbar of a display hook. The rear face of the interchangeable label holder includes first brackets and second brackets adapted for receiving either the cylindrical-shaped crossbar or the display plate crossbar. The rear face of the interchangeable label holder also includes a first securing element and a second securing element functional for receiving lateral edges of the display plate crossbar to restrict lateral movement of the label holder.

Abstract: The present invention provides a device for mounting a graphic holder on a display arm. The device has a body portion substantially formed of a resilient elastic material. The body portion comprises a band for securing around a display arm. As the band is resilient and elastic it can be used to mount the device on a variety of different shaped display arms. The device further comprises a neck portion attached to the body portion at a first end and having attaching means for holding the graphics holder substantially at a second end. The present invention also provides a system for displaying a graphic on a display arm comprising a device and a graphic holder.

Abstract: A service plan product providing a tangible representation of a service plan includes a support backer and a tag removably coupled with the backer. The tag includes service plan account identification means corresponding to a service plan account stored in a database and plan administrator contact indicia. The tag is configured to be removed from the backer and applied to a primary product for which the service plan is provided, and wherein only the service plan account identification means is required for the service plan administrator to access the database to identify details regarding the service plan account. Related systems and methods are also disclosed and provide additional advantages.

Abstract: A signage system includes a support, a housing attached to the support, and a first sign. The support includes a substantially horizontal member having a first end and a second end; a bracket for mounting the support to an upright, the bracket being attached to the first end of the substantially horizontal member; and a shell extending from the second end of the substantially horizontal member. The housing is attached within the shell of the support and includes a first ring, a second ring connected to the first ring, a first plate, and a second plate positioned adjacent to the first plate. The first plate and the second plate are positioned between the first ring and the second ring. The first sign is releasably retained between the first ring and the first plate by frictional engagement of edges of the first sign with the first ring and the first plate. The signage system is adapted to be supported by the bracket in a cantilevered configuration.

Abstract: A label holder for displaying information labels at the front of merchandise display hooks, and method for making the label holder. The label holder is of inexpensive continuously extruded construction, which is inexpensively processed after extrusion to eliminate the typical shortcomings of conventional extruded label holders. The extruded body form is cut to usable length and subjected to a plurality of die cutting operations on the back or mounting portion of the label holder, to form positioning and retention features. The label holder is thus provided with many if not most of the beneficial features of specially molded label holders, without incurring the greater expense involved in the molding process. The label holder is designed to accommodate mounting on label holders of several wire sizes commonly found in use in merchandise displays.

Abstract: A hanging display tag for supporting a product, such as a flexible hose, includes a substantially planar body. A first opening formed in the body can extend over a horizontally extending bar of a point of sale product display area, to suspend the tag therefrom. A second opening formed in the body can retain a product such as flexible hose. The second opening includes a central opening, first slots extending from the central opening, and second slots extending from the first slots.

Abstract: A locking device for a merchandise display hook includes a housing disposed adjacent a free end of the merchandise hook and defining an interior cavity adapted for receiving an end portion of the display hook. A shuttle biased by a biasing spring secures the end portion of the display hook in a locked configuration within the interior cavity. A label holder mount is integrally formed with the housing and disposed adjacent the free end of the merchandise display hook. The label holder mount is adapted for mounting a plurality of different types of label holders on the display hook.

Abstract: A point-of-sale device for an article sold at a retail shop is mounted on a horizontally extending rod on a pegboard. A structure enabling the device to be presented to a prospective purchaser of the article includes an arrangement enabling the device to be hung on the rod. The structure includes plural interconnected panels having a common edge. In different embodiments, the device includes two, three and four panels respectively having four, six and eight faces including graphical and text information about the article that is carried on an exterior face of a panel. The text is in different languages. A pair of panels includes a non-permanent fastener arrangement for holding the pair of panels in abutting relation.

Abstract: A method for covering a retail display support structure to alter its appearance is provided. The method first includes the step of dispensing a length of covering material from a wound state on a roll. Next, the length of covering material is severed from roll to form a placard of the covering material having a dimension that corresponds to at least one dimension of the retail display support structure. Next, the placard is secured to retail display support structure to cover at least a portion of the retail display support structure. The placard may be secured to the retail display support structure by pushpins that push through the placard and into holes for supporting peg hooks or shelves.

Abstract: A hook is provided for display and dispensing of commercial articles, such as articles carried on a card or other backing member. The hook includes a first arm with a hook-shaped end and an adjacent bend portion. A second arm has an end spaced from the hook-shaped end and the bend portion whereby an article must be slid along the first arm, between gaps formed between the end of the second arm, the bend portion and the hook-shaped end, for removal and subsequent checkout. In one embodiment, the hook includes a mounting plate with ears for engaging a pegboard support and a hole for receiving a push fastener which engages the pegboard support. In another embodiment, the hook includes a mounting member for mounting to a crossbar support in which a pair of spaced apart wings are provided at one end of a mounting body and a pair of spaced apart end portions are provided at the other end of the mounting body.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an adapter (29) for attaching an electronic shelf label (26) to a cantilever (22) of a blister hook (20). The adapter (29) has a housing (30) into which the shelf label (26) is inserted, and a suspension device for pivotal mounting of the housing (30) on a cross-strut (24) provided on the free end of the cantilever (22). The suspension device is a yoke (32) that is connected to the housing (30) and has two pliable sleeves (44, 54), each with a free end that is placed around the cross-strut (24) and is snap-locked onto the yoke (32). The adapter (29) is suitable for nearly universal use on various blister hooks of different size and shape. The housing (30) is angularly adjustable relative to the yoke (32) in order to align the product and price display of the shelf label (26) in the observer's viewing direction.

Abstract: A placard device for a product display system has a placard that includes a product information region and a featured information region. There is also an attachment device for mounting the placard on a product support device. A product display system includes the placard and a product support device such as a shelving system or a pegboard display system. For use with a pegboard display system, the placard device has a foot portion and a boom portion joined to the foot portion, wherein the placard is joined to the boom portion. A product display system can be created by associating one or more such placard devices with a product support device. In a display, products having common product species identifications may be grouped together.

Abstract: An electronic shelf label (ESL) holder, including an attachment member portion to be secured to a supporting surface, such as a C-channel, a holder member with protrusions for removably receiving and supporting the ESLs and, optionally, a cover member pivotally carried by the holder member to overly and protect the ESLs. The holder member includes a lip extending from at least one of the top or bottom fingers of the holder formed of flexible PVC material that is flexible relative to the remaining portion of the holder and is compressible for providing a tight fit of the ESL to the holder. The flexible lip is utilized in combination with a backing member which, in one embodiment, is a flexible PVC bead that extends along the length of the holder and, in a second embodiment, includes a relatively broad or wide pad of flexible PVC material that further provides a seal against the battery or other electronics of the ESL.

The column and the strap cooperate to define an aperture. The aperture may be dimensioned to received a plush item (e.g., a pillow).

Abstract: A merchandising hanger has a planar surface adapted to receive printed indicia thereon and characterized by having a top and a base. The top of the planar surface is formed as a hook, cutout, or hole so as to allow the merchandising hanger to be suspended from a conventional merchandising rack. A tab extends from the base of the planar surface and includes a stud integral with the tab and a stud-receiving aperture in another portion of the tab. The aperture has a flange associated therewith. Intermediate between the stud and the aperture is a tab portion having a thickness less than the tab portion proximal to the planar surface. The relative thicknesses of tab portions and the interaction between the stud and complementary aperture afford a theft deterrent without compromising the merchandising function.

Abstract: The application discloses a friction coated label and labeling sheet for use in labeling a label holder of a merchandiser unit that supports merchandise in which the label holder has means for supporting one or more labels without an adhesive bond. The labeling sheet comprises a plurality of friction coated labels removably secured to the release liner. The friction-coated labels include a face stock and a friction coating integrally connected to the face stock. The face stock has printed indicia thereon relating to the merchandise. The friction coating may comprise a weak adhesive that is adapted to inhibit migration of the friction coated labels but is not strong enough to provide a self supporting reliable adhesive bond for retail applications.

Abstract: A label holder is hingedly connected to a clip portion grippingly engaged over a transversely extending rod at the distal end of a merchandise aid, such as a scanner hook or the like, or over a plate on the end of a scanner hook enabling the label holder to be moved forwardly to access or position product on the scanner hook, or, in some applications, rearwardly in the event of impact from a passerby. By selecting the properties of the hinge section, the label holder can be temporarily fixed in a selected angular relationship when the scanner hook extends above or below the eye of a viewer to facilitate reading information on labels carried thereby.

A display apparatus in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises a column and a strap extending between the top end of the column and the bottom end of the column. The column and the strap cooperate to define an aperture. The aperture may be dimensioned to received a plush item (e.g., a pillow).

Abstract: System for arranging holders for information-carrying labels in optional positions along the front edge of a shelf or equivalent. The system comprises a supporting profiled strip (3) with a mounting part adapted so as to allow mounting of the profiled strip on the front edge (2) of a shelf (1) and also a part serving as an attachment for detachable fixing of label holders (7) to the supporting profiled strip. The system is characterized by the combination of the fact that the supporting profiled strip (3) extends along the entire length of a shelf (1) or a shelf section and has a height which essentially corresponds to the height of the front edge of the shelf, and that the label holders (7) consist of short label holder pockets of greater height than the supporting profiled strip (3). When mounted on the supporting profiled strip, the label holder pockets project down below the strip, and they are hinged so as to be capable of being pivoted up in front of the supporting profiled strip.

Abstract: A merchandising display card and method of production of the same is disclosed. The display card is adapted to be hung from store displays or shelves in such a manner that product is displayed for the consumer without taking up valuable shelf space. The card includes a means for releasably securing products to it. The means is preferably an adhesive applied to the sheet either at discrete points or over the entire surface. Products may be applied directly to the sheet, may be removed therefrom for inspection by the consumer and if no purchase is made, the product may be reattached to the sheet with relative ease.

Abstract: A label holder assembly for use with a prior art merchandise support hook which includes a hook back for attachment to a perforated board or the like and a forwardly and upwardly cantilevered merchandise support arm. The label holder assembly includes a label holder arm having a label holder at its distal end and a pair of depending legs at its proximal end adapted to be seated in a pair of spaced apertures in the hook back to support the label holder arm above, and generally at the same angle as, the merchandise support arm. The label holder may be a discrete element with a spring clip to secure the same to a cross bar at the distal end of the label holder arm.

Abstract: A display tag holder that has a mounting portion, an intermediate portion, and a display portion. The mounting portion mounts to a merchandise display hook hanging on a wall with the intermediate portion extending above and supported by the hook so that the display portion extends downwards and forwards of the tip of the hook to display the pertinent merchandise information. The mounting portion has two wedge shaped protrusions, which fit between the hook and wall, and the intermediate portion has a raised portion, which increases the stiffness of the holder. These features help to prevent the holder from falling off the hook or hanging under the hook in the event that a customer accidentally bumps or brushes against the holder.

Abstract: A label holder or label/sign holder to be secured to a merchandise-supporting shelf devoid of a C-channel on its depending front lip. An adaptor element is secured to the supporting surface of the shelf as by push pins and has a forwardly extending portion defining a hook member engageable in a lip member defined at the upper edge of the body panel of the label holder without interfering with movement of a transparent cover member on the label holder to insert or remove labels from a pocket defined therebetween. Various embodiments of rearwardly extending flanges on the back of the body panel are adapted to secure the lower portions of the label holder to or around a rearwardly extending flange on the bottom of the shelf lip.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for aligning product packages on a scanning hook, is provided through utilization of product facing device adapted to be mounted on the upper arm of the scanning hook for sliding movement there along and adapted to be gripped adjacent the outer distal end of the upper arm regardless of the position of the facing device along the upper arm, for facing product packages supported on the lower arm of the scanning hook. The facing device includes a forked element extending downward from the upper arm past the lower arm of a scanning hook, and an elongated pulling member extending along the upper arm of the scanning hook from the forked element forward to the outer distal end of the upper arm, where the pulling member terminates in a grip element that may also be a label holder.

Abstract: Discloses a method of making scanning hooks with a release agent on the label attachment tab. Stock is formed by laminating a plastic sheet which will provide the main carrier body of the overlay and a thin film which has a release agent strongly bonded to its outer surface. The film is bonded to the main plastic layer, such as by an adhesive. Overlay blanks are cut from the resulting laminate stock as by die cutting. The overlay blanks then are bent and mounted on scanning hooks, with the tab portion extending essentially vertically and presenting an outwardly exposed release surface which provides ready appliability, removability and replaceability of merchandising labels which bear information related to the products supported on the hanger.

Abstract: Label holder intended to be mounted in a hanging manner on a pin (6) which is arranged tranversely to a bar (3) projecting from a product display stand or equivalent. The holder (4) is provided with members (5) which make possible articulated mounting of the holder on the pin (6) and members for adjusting the angle the holder forms with the bar. To this end, the holder (4) is provided with an adjustment member on its rear side, which comprises a displaceable engagement element (9, 10) which is adapted so as to be capable of being displaced upward in the direction of the bar (3). The engagement element (9, 10) can then enter into engagement with the bar (3) when the holder (4) forms different angles with the latter and constitutes a support for the holder (4) which retains the latter in an angular position occupied relative to the bar (3).
