The unit comprises a container having a body portion and a cap portion; a deodorant stick movably located inside the body portion of the container for movement into and out of the body portion of the container; a deodorant stick moving system functionally connected to the deodorant stick to move the deodorant stick; and a spray system in the body portion of the container and comprising a spray nozzle, a fluid reservoir in the body portion of the container, and a control button on the body portion of the container, the fluid reservoir being fluidically connected to the spray nozzle through the control button.

Abstract: The invention is a lipstick container assembly that houses a plurality of lipsticks. Specifically, the disclosed assembly includes a housing and a lid. The interior of the container includes a plurality of lipsticks that can be advanced from the container via a slide as desired by the user. Particularly, a desired lipstick color can be selected by the user. The corresponding compartment slide can be moved in an upward direction along a groove to elevate the desired lipstick from an outlet in the lid. The lipstick can then be applied as needed by a user. When the slide is manipulated in a downward direction, the lipstick is reverted into the container interior for storage.

Abstract: A dual end container for products such as cosmetics provided. Specifically, a dual end container with a compact, integrated mechanism for selectively extending and retracting a first product or applicator without movement of a second product or applicator is disclosed. The dual end container includes a first cup, a second cup, which is at least partially housed within the first cup, and a driving member assembly, which includes a first driving member and a second driving member, between the first cup and the second cup. The first cup has a first male thread, the second cup has a second male thread, the first driving member has a first female thread, and the second driving member has a second female thread. The male threads interact with the corresponding female threads to extend and retract the corresponding cups.

Abstract: A lipstick case system is presented that helps to keep two paired makeups together. As one example, a lipstick case is presented having a cover, a base, and a pencil. A holder is positioned in an exterior surface of the cover. The holder is sized and shaped to receive a pencil, such as a lip liner pencil or eyeliner pencil or brush, therein. The holder includes lips that extend past a centerline or maximum diameter of the pencil. A pencil is inserted into the holder by providing sufficient force to deflect the opposing lips thereby allowing the pencil to reside within the rectangular holder while being frictionally held therein. The pencil is similarly removed by providing sufficient force to overcome this frictional engagement thereby allowing the pencil to be removed from the holder.

The first chamber receives lip balm and exposes the lip balm from the proximal end. More specifically, a dual end container with a compact, integrated mechanism for selectively extending and retracting a first product or applicator without movement of a second product or applicator is disclosed. The dual end container includes a first cup, a second cup, which is at least partially housed within the first cup, and a driving member between the first cup and the second cup. The first cup has a first male thread, the second cup has a second male thread and the driving member has a first and second female thread. The first male thread interacts with the first female thread to extend and retract the first cup. The second male thread interacts with the second female thread to extend and retract the second cup.

Abstract: An apparatus for treating human skin includes an outer housing including a graspable portion and an applicator portion comprising an applicator head and at least one nozzle in the applicator portion having a main axis for delivering a skin treatment composition through an opening in the applicator head onto human skin. An image capture device captures images of the human skin through the opening. A processor analyzes the images of the human skin to identify skin deviations. An optical axis of the image capture device is offset angularly from the main axis of the at least one nozzle.

Abstract: The washcloth includes a pouch with an opening, the opening having an elastic fabric around the perimeter of the opening enabling the opening to be stretched to fit a soap bar larger than the opening itself and into the pouch. The soap bar is inserted into the pouch, thereby enabling a person to hold and use the soap bar and washcloth concurrently while bathing or showering. The washcloth enables a person to wash a portion of the body with one hand while holding the washcloth with the soap bar in direct contact with the body while the soap bar is retained in the pouch. The flexible opening also maintains the soap bar in the pouch as the soap bar being used by the person in the shower or bath shrinks. The washcloth may also be inverted and soap is applied indirectly to a portion of the body through the washcloth.

Abstract: A micro electromechanical ink jet printing system that has a cartridge having a body that defines a core, and a die that contains one or more nozzles. There is a treatment composition contained within the cartridge core. The system further includes a CPU that is programmable and can control the application of the treatment composition from within the cartridge core, through the one or more nozzles to human skin. Typically, the treatment composition will contain a skin treatment ingredient selected from the group consisting of particles, vitamins, yeast and yeast extracts, skin care actives, dyes, colorants and mixtures thereof. The applicator includes a handle, a hollow elongated shaft extending longitudinally outward from the handle, a first applicator located within the shaft and a second applicator formed on the shaft. The first applicator comprises an elongated member, affixed to the handle at one end, and an applicator tool affixed to a second, opposite end. The elongated member of the first applicator is a retractable eyeliner tool for applying cosmetics around the eyes. The second applicator is coupled to the distal end of the shaft and comprise bristles extending outwardly from the shaft forming a brush used to apply cosmetics, such as mascara. A twist and slide mechanism may be located in the handle for retracting and/or extending the first applicator. The second applicator can retract/extend into/out of the elongated shaft or can remain in a permanent extended position.

A preferable embodiment of the device employs open ends of the housing that are configured in axial alignment so that the two open ends extend in opposite directions. Another preferable embodiment of the device employs cartridges that are removably attached to the housing, disposable, and replaceable with replacement cartridges.

A pusher may be operatively coupled to the actuator and include a threaded shaft and a first receiver configured for removably mounting the first receptacle. The pusher and the first receptacle mounted therein may move longitudinally relative to the housing corresponding to relative rotational movement of the actuator. The first and second receptacles may be removably mounted in the apparatus whereby the receptacles and the quantities of solid paint contained therein may be removed and replaced without the need for tools. The first and second receptacles may be sized and configured so that their positions may be alternated.

Abstract: An insert assembly for an applicator is built from two semi-cylindrical retention jaws connected by a living hinge. Each of the semi-cylindrical retention jaws has a plurality of stake pins, while the first semi-cylindrical retention jaw has a locator receptacle and the second semi-cylindrical retention jaw has a locator insert. An insert is placed between the two retention jaws, which then close to secure the insert between the retention jaws. The locator receptacle receives the locator insert from the second semi-cylindrical retention jaw, helping to align the two retention jaws. The plurality of stake pins impale the insert, holding it in place. In addition to being secured by the stake pins, the insert is supported by an interior ridge. The insert assembly can then be slid into a barrel sleeve, held in place by a press fit or by a removable mounting system, such as a lug mount.

Abstract: A device and method for treating an ingrown nail condition is provided. The method prevents a phenol solution that is applied during a P & A procedure from coming into contact with the surrounding skin and nail bed. The device is essentially a plastic tube which comes in different lengths and widths and has a specially shaped aperture located at one end. A stick-shaped cotton applicator is inserted through the tube so as to ensure direct application of the phenol solution onto only the nail matrix. As a result, the phenol solution is prevented from coming into contact with the skin and nail bed, thereby reducing post-operative healing time, post-operative infection and post-operative pain.

The sensor readings are transmitted to the CPU, the CPU analyzes the sensor readings of the keratinous surface, and the CPU sends a signal to the applicator head to treat or not to treat the analyzed surface. Abstract: A multi-purpose pen-shaped container includes first and second receptacle bodies, an applicator device, an end cap, and a coupling unit. Each receptacle body has an axis, first and second end portions, and a peripheral wall that is disposed to surround the axis so as to define a receiving chamber. The first and second end portions of each receptacle body are formed with a coupling member and a connecting member, respectively. The applicator device has a base portion that engages the connecting member on the first receptacle body. The end cap has a tubular cap wall that cooperates with the base portion of the applicator device to define a receiving space for receiving a cosmetic applicator therein. The coupling unit engages removably the coupling members of the first and second receptacle bodies.

Abstract: In a cosmetic unit comprising two different cosmetic products and two different applicators, provision is made, with a view to cost-saving manufacture based on a minimum of components and simplicity of assembly, for a central sleeve; a threaded plug which is fixable in the central sleeve; a threaded spindle which reaches through a hole, with a female thread, of the threaded plug and on the outer end of which is provided a cup that houses a cartridge, the cup being mounted, via axial projections, non-rotatably, but axially displaceably in a protective guide section; an insert which is plugged into the central sleeve in the vicinity of the threaded spindle and which includes the protective guide section that is formed outside the central sleeve; an applicator handle which adjoins the inside end of the threaded spindle; and a helical spring which extends between the threaded plug and the inner front end of the applicator handle, forcing the applicator outwards against a cosmetic compound contained in the screw c
