  • Patent number: 8628313
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine that is capable of preventing a power loss and enhancing the degree of hermeticity of compression chambers. A plurality of outer peripheral projections are formed on an outer peripheral surface of a wrap portion of each scroll. An outer peripheral coating layer is formed on an outer peripheral surface of a wrap portion of a fixed scroll, and an inner peripheral coating layer is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the wrap portion. Each of the coating layers comprises: contact portions that make contact with the mating wrap portion; and non-contact portions that do not make contact with the mating wrap portion. In this way, the degree of hermeticity of the compression chambers can be enhanced by the contact portions, and power loss can be prevented by the non-contact portions.

  • Patent number: 8540500
Abstract: A high capacity lightweight compact vane motor or pump system which utilizes vanes with extensions to improve efficiency of the system overall. The present invention generally includes a rotor housing, a rotor, a housing cover. The rotor housing will generally include a central opening in which the rotor is positioned. The rotor will generally include a plurality of radially spaced vane slots. A rotor vane will generally be positioned within each vane slot. Each rotor vane will generally include a first extension and a second extension, wherein the first extension extends into slidable engagement with a groove on the housing cover and the second extension extends into slidable engagement with a groove on the interior surface of the rotor housing. As the rotor is rotated within the housing, the vanes will slide into and out of the slots to create voids to hold oil to be expelled at the outlet.

  • Patent number: 8485804
Abstract: A single screw compressor structure includes a screw rotor and a casing, which houses the screw rotor. A tapered outer circumferential surface of the screw rotor has a plurality of helical grooves, with an outer diameter that increases from an inlet side toward a discharge side. The casing includes an outer tube member having a circular inner hole to form an interior, and an inner tube member is fixed to the interior of the outer tube member. The inner tube member has a tapered inner surface that opposes the tapered outer circumferential surface of the screw rotor. A single screw compressor further including a gate rotor is assembled by adjusting mesh between the screw rotor and the gate rotor, aligning the tapered outer and inner circumferential surfaces relative to one another, and integrally coupling the outer and inner tube members to each other.
