Abstract: A nanocomposite material apparatus suitable for fabricating a nanocomposite material from different materials is provided. The nanocomposite material apparatus includes an acceleration inner tube and a collection outer tube. The acceleration inner tube disposed along a rotation axis has a top surface, a bottom surface and an outer peripheral surface. Pipes for accelerating different materials is distributed within the acceleration inner tube. Each pipe includes an inlet, an outlet opening at the outer peripheral surface and a spiral trench connecting the inlet and the outlet. Nano materials having electricity are emitted from the corresponding outlets by accelerating different materials within the corresponding pipes.

  • Patent number: 6443723
Abstract: A cam slide retainer for injection molds includes a hardened wear plate with an elongated latch groove, mounted in a corresponding recess formed in the lower surface of the cam slide. The wear plate is aligned in the direction of travel of the cam slide and has a length that is no less than the length of stroke of the slide. A conventional spring-loaded plunger mounted adjacent the wear plate remains in contact with the wear plate throughout the stroke of the slide, so that the slide itself is not subject to wear from contact with the plunger.

  • Patent number: 6183557
Abstract: A belt assembly for a pipe lining machine used to make concrete lined pipes. A pipe to be rotated is supported on the exterior surface of a belt loop wound around several pulleys, including a drive pulley and a displaceable pulley which moves laterally in response to slack and tension in the belt loop. A damping assembly is connected to the displaceable pulley to damp vibrations in the displaceable pulley. Preferably, the damping assembly includes a pneumatic suspension member, e.g., air bellows, and a hydraulic damping member, e.g., a hydraulic shock-absorbing cylinder, connected in series to the displaceable pulley.

  • Patent number: 5366676
Abstract: A method for manufacturing concrete panels by continuously pressing and an apparatus for carrying out the method. The concrete panels are successively manufactured by continuously feeding pallets onto a conveyor, feeding a concrete material onto the pallets, continuously pressure frames against the concrete material from the upper side and both lateral sides of the concrete material while imparting vibrations to the pressure frames, forming hollows in the concrete material by thrusting a rotary screw-type core rod therethrough to provide a panel shape hollow molding, and cutting the molded concrete material into a length corresponding to the length of each pallet. In the manufacture process, an organic or inorganic fiber material may be incorporated into the concrete material for the purpose of reinforcement of the finished products.

  • Patent number: 5156818
Abstract: Hazardous radioactive waste is compacted and cast into safely handled monolithic castings having a radiation barrier wall completely enclosing the radioactive waste by centrifugal casting processes in which the barrier wall may be either a pre-formed shell transported to the jobsite or it may be formed by biaxial centrifugal casting and curing of the barrier wall in a mold. When a pre-formed shell is used, means are provided for thickening the radiation barrier if necessary by biaxial casting of additional barrier material inside of the shell. Castable radioactive material is cast inside the barrier wall before removal of the casting mold from the finished cast monolith. The cast monolith is supported for rotation as the mold is removed therefrom so that additional impact resisting and radiation barrier material can also easily be applied to the exterior surface monolith if radiation leakage exceeds tolerance levels.

  • Patent number: 4543223
Abstract: In a method for molding formed parts in automatic multiposition presses, using powdered materials having a flowability characterized by a flow time exceeding 60 seconds per 100 g of powder flowing from a 60.degree. standard funnel with a nozzle aperture of 4 mm and a nozzle length of 4 mm, the powdered material having in the mold a filling height to diameter ratio larger than two, the powder is conveyed into the mold by means of filling devices located at a plurality of separate charging stations, pressed at a separate pressing station and ejected at yet another separate station. The filling heights in each mold is subdivided into at least two individual filling heights so that the filling of the mold to these individual filling heights can be carried out at different charging stations.

  • Patent number: 3947165
Abstract: An apparatus and method for making seamless tubular containers having a first end terminating in a shoulder and threaded neck of a reduced diameter with increased wall thickness and a second open end. The process uses a mold having an internal surface configuration corresponding to the external configuration of the desired tubular container. Suction means draws electrostatically charged powder through the mold and permits a portion thereof to deposit on the internal surface, the amount of deposition being partially controlled by the surface configuration. Subsequently, the container is heated to fuse the deposited powder into homogeneous mass, while subsequent cooling permits shrinking of the container away from the mold walls such that it may be removed by hand or by mechanical apparatus.
