  • Patent number: 11444419
Abstract: An adapter system is provided that facilitates convenient access to one or more adapters, e.g., DVI-D to HDMI adapter(s), Micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter(s), Mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter(s), Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapter(s), DisplayPort to HDMI adapter(s), VGA to HDMI adapter(s), MHL to HDMI adapter(s), and/or USB to HDMI adapter(s). The adapter system includes an elongated wire that features a plurality of adapters connected/secured with respect thereto. The wire defines an attachment mechanism at a first end thereof. The attachment mechanism allows the wire to be movably secured with respect to a cable, e.g., an HDMI cable. In exemplary embodiments, movement of the wire relative to the cable is limited by stop(s) positioned on or defined by the cable. In use, the disclosed adapter system permits a user to readily access and individually utilize each of the adapter(s) connected/secured with respect to the wire on an as-needed basis.

  • Patent number: 11383141
Abstract: An elastic band for a skateboard. The band is an elastomer such as EPDM and stretches over the deck of the skateboard longitudinally with a central span under which the rider's feet can be inserted. The band has opposed ends with loops that may be wrapped around the skateboard trucks under the deck. The band is stretched taut, but has sufficient flexibility to enable the rider's feet to be inserted under the central span. Equipping a board with the band enables a rider to perform various tricks that ordinarily require the hands, and the feel is similar to a snowboard, which provides a way to practice snowboarding on the street.

  • Patent number: 11214336
Abstract: The invention discloses a rotational leash plug system for surf boards including an outer ring housing, a spherical or cylindrical element, in particular a ball or a cylinder, a stainless steel or brass pin attached to the rolling element and a bottom cap. A safety surf leash is attached to the pin centered in the ball to achieve a safety connection between surfer, in particular attached to the leg of the surfer, and a surfboard. The rotational element is free to rotate in x, y, and z axis inside the outer ring housing and the bottom cap. The spherical element is able to follow the force vector of the leash pulling the pin. The surf plug system can therefore follow the movement of the safety surf leash and or the surfer attached to the leash as soon as there is a pull force applied to the pin inside the surf plug system.

  • Patent number: 10737750
Abstract: The invention is directed toward a “Rail saver with a handle. The rail saver has a handle the extends laterally away from the rail saver, creating a “loop” which the user can grab to maintain control over a water sports vehicle such as a long board, SUP, foil board, sail board, body board and other water sports vehicles. The “rail saver with a handle” is designed to add the functionality of being able to grab and control a free-floating board while in water. Grabbing and controlling an SUP board is also difficult while holding a paddle. This new functionality provides an opportunity to control a board with one hand whether or not you are holding a paddle. By holding and using the handle, the board rider avoids injury to his fingers or hands from grasping at a leash cord that is not designed to be grabbed.

  • Patent number: 9067654
Abstract: A leash for a recreational water craft has a body attachment section and a rope. The rope has a more elastic rope section and a less elastic rope section connected end to end. The more elastic and less elastic rope sections are tethered through outer ends to the body attachment section. The less elastic rope section is longer than the more elastic rope section in a non-stretched state and is tethered to the craft in use through a craft rope sliding element. The less elastic rope section has a blocking element preventing passage through the craft rope sliding element. When the body attachment section is pulled away from the craft, the more elastic rope section expands, allowing the less elastic rope section to slip through the craft rope sliding element.

  • Publication number: 20150004859
Abstract: The present invention relates to devices and methods that use harnesses and/or support devices with stand-up paddleboards. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to harnesses and/or support devices designed to provide physical support to stand-up paddlers, resulting in improved balance and higher leverage during the paddling process. Because the harnesses and/or support devices can allow stand-up paddlers to achieve greater balance, the physical effort exerted by stand-up paddlers during the paddling process can be reduced. This can result in stand-up paddlers having an increased force to expel upon the paddle during the paddling process. In turn, this eases the process of stand-up paddling, which can improve the overall experience of stand-up paddlers. Furthermore, the harness according to the present invention can result in the stand-up paddler being able to cover a greater distance with the vehicle or board in a shorter amount of time.

Abstract: A leash and information system assembly includes a flexible strap, a flexible tether cord, a data processing module, and a display module. The flexible strap and the flexible tether cord connect a water sports vehicle to a user of the water sports vehicle. The flexible tether cord is connected to the flexible strap and the second end is configured and dimensioned to connect to the water sports vehicle. The tether cord width is substantially less than the strap width and the tether cord length is substantially greater than the strap length. The data processing module is mounted within a water-proof enclosure and positioned along one of the flexible strap, the flexible tether cord, and the water sports vehicle. The data processing module is configured with logic to receive, parse, process, and output data generated by a source external to the data processor.

Abstract: A surfboard, the construction of which makes a minimal impact on the environment, the components are readily available, and which, if disposed of, biodegrades. The surfboard delivers performance characteristics comparable to any currently commercially produced wave-propelled craft, with no significant increase in materials costs. The surfboard is composed of a pattern of wood veneers over a wooden framework, creating a hollow wooden body. All pieces used in construction are connected using food grade gelatin glue. Casein from skim milk added to the glue provides a general water-resistance to the structure. Fins attached to the bottom of the surfboard give stability to the craft in the water. Routed fin boxes incorporated into the body of the surfboard, supplied with a wooden locking mechanism, allow the fins to be quickly changed for various wave conditions. A wooden leash plug as part of the construction permits a leash to be connected to the surfboard.
