A first slat, a set of second slats, and a pair of third slats are coupled to an inner surface of the shirt. The first slat is positioned adjacent to a lower limit of breasts of the user. The set of second slats is adjacent to and configured to support a back of the user. Each third slat extends over a respective shoulder of the user and is coupled to and extends between a respective opposing end of the first slat and the set of second slats. The pair of third slats is configured to transfer load from the first slat to the set of second slats.

    Abstract: A pre-assembled anti-creep waist-clothing stay device including a patch having front and back surfaces and sized for application to a crotch-adjacent inner-seam area of the waist-clothing and a stay strip affixed to the back surface of the patch, the stay strip being positioned and sized such that the patch extends beyond edges of the stay strip. In important embodiments, the patch includes a heat-activated adhesive such that, when the patch is applied to the waist-clothing with iron-on heat and pressure, the patch adheres at its back surface to the waist-clothing, thereby securing the stay strip in position to prevent the waist-clothing from riding up and bunching in the crotch area. In certain key embodiments, the anti-creep waist-clothing stay device is a stay strip having first and second sides each of which is coated with an adhesive. Such stay device is affixed within a seam-allowance in the crotch-adjacent area.

    Abstract: In general, bikini bottoms or briefs are somewhat unimaginative in terms of shape, uncomfortable and expensive to produce. A relatively simple frame for use in bikini bottoms or briefs includes two lengths of wire which are bent to define mirror images of each other, the lengths defining a major portion of an oval of sufficient length to extend around the crotch of a wearer between a V-shaped line across the rectus abdominous muscle in the front and the sacrum in the rear of the wearer. Each of the lengths of wire includes a straight, vertical rear portion extending downwardly from an inverted L-shaped top rear end to approximately the bottom center of the crotch area, and a front portion flaring outwardly and upwardly from the vertical plane of the straight rear portion to a top end and then downwardly to the vertical plane of the rear portion.

    Abstract: A backless, strapless ladies' body briefer is made practical by providing a lateral, full-length bone at each of the two seams connecting the front and back halves of the garment. The back half has a V-shaped cutout and an elastic band extending along the waistline and attached to the lateral bones. At least one auxiliary bone, spaced from each lateral bone, is attached to the elastic band and extends to the V-shaped cutout. Additional auxiliary bones attached to the elastic band can help keep the V-shaped edges of the garment snugly against the wearer's back.
