Abstract: A method of manufacturing disposable absorbent garments and a garment made thereby. In particular embodiments, the method comprises removing notches or holes of a garment web or webs adjacent to front and back waist edges to define a series of spaced apart front and back waist edge openings. The method includes providing front and back elastic waistband webs, and positioning the respective waistband webs to overlay at least a portion of each opening, and bonding the waistband webs to each other. The garment includes first and second waist edge cutouts, wherein two side seams extend from the waist edge cutouts to respective leg openings. The garment further includes front and back elastic waistbands attached to each other at first and second waistband side seams.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide clothes that are capable of adjusting the body shape with wearing of the clothes without a strong pressing force to the abdomen and further modifying the body shape itself gradually. The clothes has a waist provided with a body front side fabric consisting of a single ply piece of waist front side fabric and a single ply piece of abdomen fabric and a body back side fabric consisting of a single ply piece of waist back side fabric and a single ply piece of lower back fabric, including a function in which the horizontal contraction distance of the body front side fabric is longer than that of the body back side fabric, with wearing of the clothes.

Abstract: A concealing undergarment preserves a user's modesty while allowing the user to wear modern apparel such as low-slung or low-cut pants, jeans, and the like. In general, the concealing undergarment conceals parts of the user's body which may be revealed due to the style or cut of apparel the user is wearing. The concealing undergarment may have the appearance of skin when worn. This allows the user to wear more revealing styles, as intended. The concealing undergarment may conceal the user's midriff and back while preventing rear cleavage from being seen, especially where the user is wearing low-slung pants or jeans. An extension may be provided to present inspirational phrases, positive words, facts, and other information to a user. The extension may be tucked under the user's bra to be close to the user's heart, and be used to hold an upper portion of the concealing undergarment in position.

Abstract: To provide a lumbar supporter that can effectively prevent displacement to an upper trunk and integrally fix a lumbar vertebrae and a pelvis, and further has a good appearance, a lumbar fixed belt 2 that mainly holds a lumbar and a pelvic fixed belt 5 that mainly holds the pelvis are integrally provided, and the pelvic fixed belt 5 is inclined to the lumbar fixed belt 2 at 20° to 30° toward a lumboabdominal region, correspondingly to a physiological pelvic angle of inclination &thgr;.

Abstract: A disposable undergarment has an integrated belly protector and pants. The belly protector has a front body and a rear body joined together to form a tubular configuration having upper and lower openings. A first elastic member is secured along the upper opening. Second and third elastic members are secured to the front body between the first elastic member and the lower opening so as to extend with a transversely symmetric arrangement and to curve convexly toward the upper and lower openings, respectively. The pants have a front body and a rear body joined together to define a waist-opening and a pair of leg-openings. The waist-opening of the pants is seamlessly connected to the lower opening of the belly protector, and a fourth elastic member is secured along the waist opening.

Abstract: A disposable belly protector of the present invention includes a front body and a rear body secured together along transversely opposite side edges thereof so as to form a tubular configuration and a pair of first elastic members secured along upper and lower openings of the tubular configuration and a pair of second elastic members secured to at least the front body between the first elastic members so as to extend between the transversely opposite side edges of the front body with a transversely symmetric arrangement which is only curved convexly toward the upper and lower openings, respectively. In another aspect of the present invention, a disposable diaper of pants type is seamlessly connected to the belly protector.

Abstract: A lumbosacral back support system with interchangeable and positionally adjustable lumbosacral orthopedic support members for supporting the spine of a user during physical activity, specifically for athletes and industrial workers. A back support band is provided with a first releasable attachment mechanism. A lumbosacral support member with second releasable attachment mechanism is provided for engagement with the first releasable attachment mechanism. The first and second releasable attachment mechanisms are arranged for attaching a lumbosacral support member to the back support band at a variety of positions relative to the spine of the user. The releasable attachment mechanism of the present invention provides the user the option to substitute different lumbosacral support members on the back support band. Additionally, the back support band may be releasably attach to a compression-type short to further secure the lumbosacral back support system to the user.
