Abstract: In an aspect, a toy assembly is provided, and includes a housing, an inner object (which may, in some embodiments, be a toy character) inside the housing, a tether, and a breakout motor. The breakout motor is operatively connected to the tether such that operation of the breakout motor drives the tether to rip a hole in the housing to open the housing.

Abstract: Mask display systems, sales and display systems, and related methods are shown and described. In one example, a mask display system comprises a head portion, a pair of hands attached to the head portion, and a suspension system, serving as a novelty simulation of a peeping tom.

Abstract: A toy comprising foam material that easily generates static electricity, giving the toy the ability to adhere to or repel from a user's body or nearby objects. The toy, in a recognizable form, will provide amusement when affixed to people's bodies or objects in their surroundings.

Abstract: An improved novelty teeth device for use with a user's teeth movable between a first concealed position and a second visible position. The novelty teeth device has a pair of spaced apart tooth wells for receiving the user's teeth. Between the tooth wells is a central lever element that connects and interacts with two rods, each of which is inserted across each tooth well. The other end of each rod is connected to a curve arm. At the distal end of each curve arm is one or more teeth elements. When the central lever element is pivoted up or down, it rotates the rods, which causes the curve arms to move up or down, concealing or revealing the teeth elements, respectively. A moldable putty can be used in the tooth well to improve comfort to the user.

Abstract: A novelty eye patch with a retaining, elastic band connected to a gag, false eye, eyelid or other embodiment, concealed beneath the patch. The patch and false eye or lid will be adjoined by a small, hidden spring, built onto two (2) hard wire frames. The spring will compress the false eye or lid against the user's real eye while allowing the patch to be lifted, revealing the gaff eye or lid. The two (2) steel wire frames will be concealed, along with the adjoining spring. One wire frame will be sewn into the outer circumference of the eye patch while the other frame will be molded into the underlying gaff or falsetto eye, to conceal their identity while maintaining stability to the patch and the gaff. Opposing force, created by the hidden spring, will compress downward the false eye or lid firmly against the user's real-eyelid, while maintaining a constant upward force of pressure on the patch.

Abstract: The expansible amusement device is a compressed package formed from paper goods, plastic goods or the like, which, under selective decompression, disperses confetti and generates acoustic effects. A plurality of elastically expandable members are stacked together and compressed between a pair of bases. A plurality of confetti strips are positioned between adjacent elastically expandable members when the expansible amusement device is in the compressed configuration, and a deployment strip is peripherally wrapped about the compressed device. The deployment strip has a free end and a fixed end, and at least one retaining member releasably secures the fixed end of the deployment strip to the pair of bases when the expansible amusement device is in the compressed configuration.

Abstract: An article including a book, a closeable housing and an object in a compressed state in the housing is disclosed. The object is compressed foam that expands into a figure when the housing is opened. The book has one or more characters and the figure is representative of one of the one or more characters. The housing is preferably in a back cover of the book. The compressible toy is made from a compressible and expandable foam.

Abstract: A miniature spooling apparatus is described. The miniature spooling apparatus includes a housing having a miniature motor attached within the housing. The miniature motor has an axle extending therefrom, with a mechanically powered miniature spool attached with the axle. The miniature spool includes a top portion having a tapered indentation formed circumferentially around the top portion, and a bottom portion having slits formed therein. The slits intersect one another at a point of intersection to form an axle receptacle for receiving the axle from the miniature motor.

Abstract: The expansible amusement device is a compressed package formed from paper goods, plastic goods or the like, which, under selective decompression, disperses confetti and generates acoustic effects. A plurality of confetti strips are positioned between adjacent elastically expandable members when the expansible amusement device is in the compressed configuration, and a deployment strip is peripherally wrapped about the compressed device. Abstract: A figure kicking toy with a crank activated kicking leg with boot of the first figure pivoting to contact the posterior of the second figure. The kicking leg has a return spring for restoring the leg to upright position. The preferred embodiment offers rubberized material, at least in the second figure, to allow air compression from the boot contact to dislodge the head of the second figure. The preferred embodiment has a two headed second figure with heads representing Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein respectively.

Abstract: A novelty device that makes humorous statements when a person is having a bowel movement in a confined bathroom. The device includes an automated character, such as a bird in a birdcage, a skunk with a gasmask or some other character. Within the device is a gas sensor for detecting at least one gas emitted during a bowel movement. The device also includes a speaker for transmitting an audible message. When gases from a bowel movement are detected, audible statements are transmitted and synchronized movements are effected in the automated character.

Abstract: A novelty device attaches to the exterior of a motor vehicle, with an upwardly extending arm producing a passive lateral oscillation due to vehicle motion to simulate a wagging animal tail. The device includes a base plate which attaches to the vehicle between a license plate mounting area and the license plate, with a bracket extending outwardly from the plane of the plate. A laterally flexible arm is attached to the distal end of the bracket. A fabric or plastic sleeve resembling an animal tail may be installed over the arm, so the covered arm resembles the tail of a team mascot animal or the like. The flexibility of the arm may be adjusted or varied by providing a series of bends at the base of the arm or elsewhere along the arm, and/or providing a bobweight at the distal end of the arm or elsewhere along the arm.

Abstract: The invention is a pop-up device adapted to allow for a number of triggering means and a number of special effects upon triggering of the device. The pop-up device may be placed in a hollow section of a cake, which is later iced over so that the candle holder is not visible. In the preferred embodiment, the base of the device supports the pop-up mechanism within a housing. The device is held in a compressed state by a release mechanism. Upon triggering of the release mechanism, the device is released and pushed through the cake or other confection, thereby providing surprise and entertainment. In alternative embodiments, the device is actuated by a drive mechanism or a fuse.

Abstract: An amusement apparatus including a user-operated and controlled apparatus for self-infliction of repetitive blows to the user's buttocks by a plurality of elongated arms bearing flexible extensions that rotate under the user's control. The apparatus includes a platform foldable at a mid-section, having first post and second upstanding posts detachably mounted thereon. The first post is provided with a crank positioned at a height thereon which requires the user to bend forward toward the first post while grasping the crank with both hands, to prominently present his buttocks toward the second post. The second post is provided with a plurality of rotating arms detachably mounted thereon, with a central axis of the rotating arms positioned at a height generally level with the user's buttocks. The elongated arms are propelled by the user's movement of the crank, which is operatively connected by a drive train to the central axis of the rotating arms.

Abstract: A practical joke device which when removably mounted onto a glass surface of user choice, will create an illusion that an object has penetrated into the glass surface and the glass has been shattered.

Abstract: A novelty gas dispensing nozzle attachment for attachment to a fuel cap of a vehicle for simulating a torn away gas dispensing nozzle because the driver forgot to remove the gas dispensing nozzle from the vehicle before driving away from the gas pump. The inventive device includes a main member having an outer configuration adapted to resemble a fuel dispensing nozzle of a gas pump including a middle portion configured to resemble a trigger assembly of a fuel dispensing nozzle, a proximal portion configured to resemble a portion of corrugated protective nozzle bellow inserted into a fuel tank of a vehicle, and a distal portion configured to resemble a torn off portion of a fuel line hose connecting a fuel dispensing nozzle to a gas pump. The proximal portion terminates at an open proximal end which is adapted for receiving a fuel cap of a vehicle therein to attach the main member to the fuel cap.

Abstract: A novelty noise making, odor generating Apparatus is provided having a clear beaker made of glass or plastic provides visual access to an interior volume. A removable stopper seals the interior volume of the beaker, which contains a colored gas having a humorously offensive odor. A base is provided for mounting the beaker in statue form, with a nameplate mounted thereto to provide a humorously offensive description of the colored gas. A stopper for providing fluid communication between the beaker's interior and exterior volumes is included forming an interior conduit and having a reed or bendable flap extends outward from the conduit wall to create an impediment to fluid flow through the conduit. When the stopper is placed into or removed from the beaker opening, the differential pressure created across the reed or bendable flap causes a momentary vibration, thereby generating an incremental noise.

Abstract: A person-to-person flower presentation package, wherein a bundle of flowers is placed out of sight in a preferably conical, open-topped, container. Upon presentation, a cord is pulled, raising the blossoms suddenly into view. The package also includes one or more popping sound generators which are actuated as the flower-raising cord is pulled.

Abstract: A device for rupturing a balloon in response to an opening of a door. The inventive device includes a piercing assembly mountable over a door for supporting and selectively piercing a balloon. A trigger assembly coupled to the piercing assembly is responsive to an opening of the door to actuate the piercing assembly so as to rupture the balloon over an individual.

Abstract: A novelty item is provided comprising a balloon, a container adapted to contain the balloon in a deflated state, and an inflation device adapted to act on the balloon. The inflation device includes a high pressure gas container and a valve coupled to the gas container. The valve is adapted to self-regulate and control the flow of gas into the balloon upon actuation thereof.

Abstract: A novelty device includes an inflatable element fixed to a nipple which is normally covered. Adding fluid to a chamber which includes a fluid-reactive element causes a pressure increase to be imparted to the inflated element which then expands under the action of the pressure. Normally the nipple and the inflatable element are covered so as to be hidden from view prior to the addition of a fluid.

Abstract: A system of remotely actuated novelty devices is disclosed having triggering and actuating components packaged in separate, interchangeable modules. The system includes several interchangeable trigger modules, each of which detects the occurrence of an activating event and in response generates a trigger signal of finite duration, and several interchangeable action modules, each of which performs a prank in response to a trigger signal. Each action module includes a battery that powers the action module and any trigger module connected to it.

Abstract: This invention is a simulated headlight wiper and is used as a novelty or amusement device. The wiper may be detachably mounted to the vehicle or, in another embodiment, it may be attached directly to the headlight by suitable means such as a double-sided adhesive tape. For additional realism, a simulated control block and fluid dispensing tube can be added as well as simulated wiper components such as a wiper arm, head, wiper blade holder and wiper blade.

Abstract: A novelty device and method of using it, include the generation of an attention attracting signal, under the control of the performer but not by the spectator. A secret disabling arrangement causes a spectator to be unable to re-activate the attention attracting device. A resetting device causes the novelty device to be reset in a surreptitious manner to permit the performer to re-activate the attention attracting device.
