Abstract: A crib bumper assembly protects an infant from injury by bars spaced on the side of a crib. The assembly includes an elongated member having a first side and a second side. A plurality of flexible panels is coupled to the first side of the elongated member. Each flexible panel has a perimeter edge coupled to the elongated member wherein each flexible panel forms a chamber extending from the first side of the elongated member. A plurality of attachment members is coupled in spaced arrangement to the second side of the elongated member. Thus, the elongated member is configured for being coupled to spaced bars in a side of a crib.

Abstract: The instant invention is an inflatable, portable crib, comprising: a bottom most member parallel to the floor, at least one vertical member operationally connected to said bottom most member, at least three struts arranged around the perimeter of the bottom most member, and at least one horizontal member, said horizontal member(s) connecting at least two struts toward the tops of the struts, and said horizontal member(s) operationally connected to said vertical member(s), wherein said vertical member(s) and said bottom most member create an enclosed space; and wherein said struts and horizontal member(s) consist of an outer shell of dimensionally stable material and at least one inner bladder; and when said inner bladder(s) are inflated with air under pressure, said struts and vertical member(s) create a rigid structure for supporting said enclosed space.

Abstract: Apparatus for changing a baby including a disposable changing pad component, a changing platform component and a combination of a changing pad component and platform component. The disposable changing pad component includes a water impermeable layer and a fabric layer and at least one movement resistance aid to anchor the pad in place. The changing platform component includes a generally smooth region for receiving a baby and at least one changing pad retainer for holding the changing pad.

The pair of arms are spaced apart in a mirrored relationship such that a well region is defined therebetween. The support member includes a body portion and a head portion extending from the body portion. The body portion extends across the well region and is between the pair of arms. The head portion is coupled to, and extends from, each of the arm second ends.

The top surface (14) includes a body support portion (18) connected to the base (12) which is longitudinally spaced from the head support (20) and is for supporting the body of an infant. A side wall (24) extends peripherally around the base (12) and having an elevated surface elevated higher than the head support (20). The cushion (10) includes a blanket (32) for covering the infant adapted to be placed on the top surface (14). The blanket (32) has at least a portion secured to the side wall (24). The blanket (32) is extensible over the top surface (14) without extending over the head support portion (20).

Abstract: A portable playyard includes a top frame defining a top opening, a bottom frame, a plurality of circular inflatable supporters spacedly bridging the top and bottom frames, a boundary shelter supported by the top frame to define a playyard cavity within the boundary shelter, the top frame, and the bottom frame; and an air valve provided at the inflatable supporters. Each of the inflatable supporters, having an air chamber, is outwardly and inclinedly extended from the top frame to the bottom frame to evenly distribute and support a downward force applied on the top frame so as to prevent the playyard from being accidentally collapsed.

Abstract: The invention disclosed herein relates to a device for applying thermal therapy, treatment or comfort to a patient or user which includes a container having an upper side and lower side with a space therebetween containing a chemical composition adapted to provide a thermal effect, and a plurality of discrete attachment areas which generally define a central location in the container. The device has a nest configuration and automatically conforms to the user's geometry upon application of weight thereon. The discrete attachment areas are positioned to define an inner peripheral base portion and outer peripheral portion in the device which collectively form the nest configuration. The device is particularly useful in thermal treatment for infants.

Abstract: A railing guard is provided for alleviating previous deficiencies with crib protectants. The crib railing guard disclosed protects infants from injury and discomfort resulting from impact against and contact with side railing on baby cribs. Furthermore, the crib railing guard provides a self-supportive, comfortable enclosure for care of infants on surfaces with or without side railing. The crib railing guard is composed of a base, a cushiony wall and fasteners. The base is sized and shaped to correspond to an infant mattress. The base, when used in conjunction with an infant bed, is placed on top of the mattress support structure and beneath the mattress. The cushiony wall is connected to the perimeter of the base and projects upward. The lower portion of the cushiony wall is designed to compress when a mattress is placed on top of the base in order to fit the crib railing guard between the crib railing and the mattress.

Abstract: A combined bed and seat device for an infant is made of plastic material and is formed with various separately inflatable elements, namely a base (1) upon which the child sits or lies, a cushion (2) that surrounds the base (1) on three sides, an outer wall connected thereto and formed of wedge-shaped configuration in side view, and a second inflatable cushion (6) of approximately same circumference and connected to the other border of the outer wall (4). The cushion (6) forms the body that supports and stabilizes the bed upon the ground. In order to angle the base (1) into the seating position, the cushion (2) is clampable approximately in the middle of its length by means of an eyelet connection (5) against the second cushion (6). The inclination of the base (1) is adjustable by inflating the outer wall (4) to a lesser or greater degree.
