Abstract: The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions that contain a solid pharmaceutically active compound having a melting point ≧37° C. and a fatty acid or a fatty acid salt or a mixture of a fatty acid and a fatty acid salt. Such composition results in a depression in melting point to ≦37° C. upon contact with an aqueous solution thereby providing an improved outlook for absorption.

Abstract: A cosmetic, dermatological, hygiene and/or pharmaceutical composition comprising a hydrophilic component and a fatty phase which comprises at least one volatile compound and at least one pasty fatty compound. The composition is, in particular, a composition having improved staying power. The use of the combination of a volatile compound and a pasty fatty compound to limit the transfer and/or migration of such a cosmetic, dermatological, hygiene and/or pharmaceutical composition comprising a hydrophilic compound.

Abstract: A personal hand or body washing formulation includes a cationic polymer and an anionic emollient which apparently combine to give a sparingly soluble complex, which is deposited on the skin and is difficult to remove. The deposition results in improved skin feel, including skin softness, skin moisture, skin hydration and skin smoothness. Skin appearance is approved as well. Exemplary cationic polymers include polyquaternium 6, while a preferred anionic emollient is sulfated castor oil. The complex also finds use as the conditioning agent of a cleansing and conditioning shampoo.
