Abstract: This document describes a data processing system for processing a feature vector that comprises features (one or more) that are indicative of dyslexic behavior that are indicative of dyslexic behavior. The data processing system includes a feature classification engine that generates classification metrics for a feature vector. Machine learning logic is used to determine a classification metric for each feature. Features that have a classification metric below a pre-determined threshold are removed. The data processing system includes a prediction engine that generates a prediction value indicative of a predicted likelihood of dyslexia. The prediction engine assigns, to each remaining feature, based on the classification metric of the respective remaining feature, a prediction weight and determines the prediction value based on the prediction weights.

  • Patent number: 11318949
Abstract: Disclosed techniques include in-vehicle drowsiness analysis using blink-rate. Video of an individual is obtained within a vehicle using an image capture device. The video is analyzed using one or more processors to detect a blink event based on a classifier for a blink that was determined. Using temporal analysis, the blink event is determined by identifying that eyes of the individual are closed for a frame in the video. Using the blink event and one or more other blink events, blink-rate information is determined using the one or more processors. Based on the blink-rate information, a drowsiness metric is calculated using the one or more processors. The vehicle is manipulated based on the drowsiness metric. A blink duration of the individual for the blink event is evaluated. The blink-rate information is compensated. The compensating is based on demographic information for the individual.

  • Patent number: 11229385
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to identifying and measuring bodily states and feedback systems. A computer system initializes a tracking and measuring device to generate patient data related to a bodily state or feedback system of a patient. The computer system gathers the patient data using the initialized tracking and measuring device, and identifies a baseline parameter used to determine a baseline state relative to the gathered patient data. The computer system further gathers additional patient data using the initialized tracking and measuring device and compares the additional gathered patient data to the identified baseline parameter. Then, if the additional gathered patient data differs from the baseline state by a specified threshold amount, the computer system determines that a change in the patient's bodily state or feedback system has occurred and/or determines the amount of change in the bodily state or feedback systems that has occurred.
