Once an individual has gained authorization with respect to a media stream's manipulation rights, they are allowed to manipulate the stream. In some embodiments, a provider controls a secure environment to play the stream and enforce the rights.

Abstract: Consistent with an embodiment of the present disclosure, a server arrangement provides a web-accessible virtual-meeting interface through which participant identifying information and meeting time information is passed for setting up and establishing a primary meeting. In addition to the primary meeting, various selectable options are provided for one or more participants, including merged audio from the established audio connections to the participants, establishing a secondary meeting and/or automatically moving or reverting connections from/to the primary meeting.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for transmitting election campaign messages to display the number of an acquaintance of a recipient. When a request to transmit an election campaign message is received from an election candidate, an election campaign message is transmitted to the terminal of the voter linked to the election candidate. When the election campaign message is sent, the sender number of the message sent to each voter is set as the mobile phone number of the election campaigner linked to the corresponding voter as an acquaintance. Therefore, the recipient does not feel resistance in receiving the election campaign message.

Abstract: Systems and methods redistribute online events using mesh management. Prior to initiation of an upcoming virtual meeting, a mesh orchestrator identifies one or more user accounts scheduled to participate in the upcoming virtual meeting. The mesh orchestrator selects multiple client computer systems associated with the one or more user accounts to define a mesh. The mesh includes at least one computer system associated with a first user account for distributing one or more portions of a media stream of the upcoming virtual meeting and at least one client computer system associated with a second user account for receiving the one or more portions of the media stream of the upcoming virtual meeting. The mesh orchestrator also defines a contingency logic for applying one or more changes to the mesh prior to or after the initiation of the upcoming virtual meeting.

Abstract: A host IO devices directly implements host read operations on both local memory, and on peer memory via a PCIe non-transparent bridge. When a host read operation is received by a host IO device from a host, the host IO device uses an API to obtain the physical address of the requested data on the peer memory, and generates a PCIe Transaction Layer Packet (TLP) addressed to the address in the peer memory. The TLP addressed to an address in the peer memory is passed over the NTB to the peer compute node to retrieve the data stored in the addressed slot of peer memory. The requested data is returned to the host IO device over the NTB, stored in a buffer, and read out to the host to directy respond to the host read operation.

Abstract: A system for and method of instruction is provided. A user initiates a lesson with an instructor which begins a video call. During the video call, the instructor records one or more recording of the user and edits the recording with mark-up, which can then be played back to the user to aid in the instruction. Each of the video call, the recording, and the mark-up are recorded as an independent recording layer, while the entire lesson is also recorded. The system and method utilize recording techniques so as to not deplete the resources of the user devices. Upon conclusion of the lesson, the recording of the lesson and each layer is provided to the users.

Abstract: A method may include receiving a selection of a template defining a manner in which data is stored in one or more database tables operated upon by a software application while the software application performs a function. The selected template may be stored in a first database table. Customizations applied to the selected template are stored in a second database table. In response to the software application performing the function, a virtual customizing table may be generated to include a database view having the selected template from the first database table and the customizations from the second database table. The software application may perform the function based on the virtual customization table, which is not persisted at a database but is generated as needed. Abstract: Techniques are described for improving the efficiency of collaboration session synchronization between applications, particularly applications that consume heavy application data. In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises employing, by an application server operatively coupled to a processor, a context management server to manage synchronization of usage context information between a first client device and one or more second client devices related to simultaneous usage of an application provided by the application server during a collaboration session established between the first client device and the one or more second client devices. The method further comprises managing, by the application server, synchronization and exchange of application data between the first client device and the one or more second client devices during the collaboration session without sharing the application data with the context management server.

The family organizer can invite other adult family members to join the shared family account. The family organizer can create new accounts on the content storage system for child family members, and can designate access and purchase restrictions for such child family members. Family members have access to shared storage content, as well as services such as family calendar, group messaging, and device location.

An application executing a client device may have an open content item, such as a file, document, or message. An input to park or defer the content item may be received. In response to the input, a data container for a parked item for the content item is created in a remote content-deferral platform. Metadata for the content item is retrieved and stored within the data container along with additional data, which may be user curated, to form the parked item. The parked item may then be accessed from multiple different applications via a park pane.
