Abstract: A strelchable wrap for holding a sheet with sublimable ink against an object, such as a mug, for transferring an image from the sheet to the mug. The wrap has two layers of elastomeric, rubber material glued together. The inner layer has a greater sponginess to conform the sheet to the mug, while the outer layer has greater strength to stretch and hold the web over the sheet. Flexible rods, held at the ends of the rubber sheet by the outer layer glued to itself, attach the web with the sheet to the mug. The rods connect together above and below the mug and hold the rubber web in a stretched condition with the inked sheet in contact with the mug. The rods also extend above and below the rubber web which, in turn, is wider than the mug. Connecting together the ends of the connector rods permits their joinder.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for increasing the bending strength and the endurance limit of crankshafts by locally restricted hammering in areas of high stress, such as grooves, the mouths of bores and cross-sectional transition zones, in which method pressure impulse machines or beating devices comprising heating tools are employed. The pressure impulse machines or beating devices only execute a relative displacement of the beating tool against the surface of the crankshaft segment to be processed when the compressive stress is introduced between the heating tool and said surface of the crankshaft segment to be processed. The invention also relates to a device for increasing the endurance limit of crankshafts.

Abstract: A mold clamping device for a pressing machine which bends a plate material inserted between upper and lower molds. The mold clamping device comprises a main frame (1) of integral structure, a holding ram (13) mounted on the upper half of the mainframe (1) and for supporting the upper mold (8) for vertical movement, a pair of arch-type thick springs (6) vertically mounted on the upper half of the main frame, and a crank mechanism (10) with which the upper end of each of the arch-type thick spring is connected through a crank pin (17). The crank mechanism creates a rotational force at a position near the dead center of the crank pins (17). This rotational force resiliently deforms the arch-type thick springs (6) which in turn create a resilient force for pressing the upper mold (8) against the lower mold (9). This provides an accurate and stable clamping force between the upper and lower molds.
