Abstract: A sonar projector having a pair of opposed oscillating pistons driven by an electromagnetic assembly is rendered capable of operating at reduced resonant frequency by providing liquid mass loading for the pistons. The mass loading is achieved by utilizing a structure which constricts a body of liquid on one side of the piston. The constricted liquid may be sea water or liquid sealed within the body of the unit. In accordance with a further aspect of the invention, a seal assembly is provided for the moving pistons which not only provides a sealing function but which also acts to radially center the pistons and to provide an axially directed restoring force thereto during piston oscillation. The electromagnetic assembly, in accordance with still a further aspect of the invention, is formed with a permanent magnet structure arranged in a cylindrical configuration with the opposed pistons on opposite axial ends thereof to reduce magnetic leakage losses.

Abstract: An attachment for a television receiver composed of four trapezoidal panels adapted to be attached to the viewing screen of the television set and having reflective or mirrored inner surfaces whereby the image on the television receiver screen is reflected from the reflective surfaces of the four-paneled attachment. Each of the four trapezoidal panels are dimensioned so that when the attachment is mounted on the television receiver, the inner mirrored surfaces of each of the panels will define an included angle with the television screen which is between 100.degree. and 120.degree..

Abstract: A batch process including a circulating reactor and an agitated reactor for the production of dialkyl xanthogen formates, including means to increase yields of products, inhibiting chloroformate hydrolysis, suppress production of xanthic anhydride as a byproduct, and generally control product/byproduct yields based on intended use. Certain product mixtures are particularly useful as flotation reagents, specifically collectors in the flotation of molybdenum-bearing copper ores, where molybdenum recovery has been increased by more than 10% without adverse effects on copper recovery.

Abstract: A novelty item which is particularly useful as a decorative piece is formed as a miniaturized transparent container shaped to authentically simulate a barrel normally used to contain crude oil with a quantity of authentic crude oil being contained within the container and visible therein, the container being sealed to prevent removal of the oil and having a label or other markings on the outside thereof consisting of a name or designation fancifully associated with crude oil or the ownership or production thereof.

Abstract: A support device to enable a remote control module to be conveniently held and used in a portable manner including a pair of parallel support arms adapted to support a control module therebetween, a brace member adapted to be braced against the body of a user and extending generally perpendicularly to said support arms for a distance greater than the spacing therebetween, and a pair of intermediate arms extending between the support arms and the brace member obliquely relative to both. During use, the assembly may be engaged against the intermediate members to hold the module while permitting the fingers of the hands to remain free for manipulation of the switches, dials, and other control members of the control module.
