Abstract: This invention relates to an anhydrous delivery vehicle for applying cosmetic or functional active ingredients to human skin. The anhydrous delivery vehicle contains 5 to 30 weight percent of a high-melting wax, 5 to 30 weight percent of an acetylated monoglyceride, 5 to 60 weight percent of petrolatum, 0.1 to 30 weight percent of a fatty alcohol having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, and a cosmetic or functional active material.
