Abstract: A hosel-less shaft connection for a golf club including an airfoil shaped ledge located at the heel portion of the golf club head which is generally parallel to and below an upper surface of the club head and an upright airfoil shaped wall connecting the ledge and the upper surface. A shaft is connected to a shaft bore opening located on the airfoil shaped ledge whereby the shaft enters the club head at a point below the top surface of the club head.
Abstract: A boolean multiplier is disclosed. The boolean multiplier includes a plurality of input buffers for storing a first operand and a second operand. The multiplier also includes a first set of gates coupled to the input buffers, the first set of gates respectively combining the first operand and the second operand with Boolean function to produce logical products. The multiplier further includes a second set of gates coupled to the first set of gates, the second set of gates respectively combining the logical products with Boolean functions to produce specific product bits.
Abstract: A metalwood type golf club head including a club head body having a toe, heel, top surface, bottom sole, side surfaces, rear surface and ball striking face having at least one raised, and preferably two, elongated, aerodynamically shaped appendage extending outwardly from a side surface, in a front to rear direction, from a point adjacent said ball striking face to said rear surface. The structure provides improved weight distribution for better balance, adds strength and stability and provides aerodynamic surfaces to increase club head speed particularly on larger club heads designs.
Abstract: A golf training and exercising device for exercising various muscles used in a golf swing, including an elongated elastic member having a loop type mounting means on one end and a flexible, soft grip attached to the opposite end.
Abstract: An applicator for dispensing and applying materials. The applicator includes a container having an open first end and an open second end. The applicator also includes a follower sized and dimensioned to fit within the container such that the follower moves between the first end of the container and the second end of the container to force material from the second end of the container. The first end of the container is shaped to accommodate and retain a finger of a user within the first end of the container such that the finger of the user snugly fits within the container and the container becomes an extension of the finger for application purposes.
Abstract: The personal recovery unit includes a transmitter unit carried by a user. The transmitter unit includes a transmitter for selectively transmitting a warning signal to a central processing center, a clock, and means for initiating the transmission of a warning signal at a specified time of day such that the location of an individual is provided at a specified time of day.
Abstract: A method of forming a customized golf club head having a selected ground engaging soleplate is disclosed. A conventional club head body having a heel, toe, upper surface, rear surface and ball striking face is formed with a cavity in the bottom surface. One of a plurality of ground engaging soleplates is selected to be permanently or removably attached to the club head body. A manufacturer may pre-produce club heads with a cavity in the bottom and at a later time select a particular ground engaging soleplate depending upon customer demands. The invention also allows a golfer to select one of a wide variety of ground engaging soleplates in order to customize a golf club suitable for selected playing conditions.
Abstract: An iron type golf club head includes a club head body having a heel portion, toe portion, bottom sole, top ridge, planar ball striking face including an enlarged hitting area adjacent the heel portion and a permanently non-rotatable hosel affixed to the club head body outside the outer periphery thereof by a connector extending the hosel laterally in a heel to toe direction and also offset beyond the leading edge of the club face, in a rear to front direction, permitting full ball striking face contact, without shanking, for hitting a golf ball during the execution of a golf shot.
Abstract: A modular hat is disclosed. The hat includes a hat crown having an inside perimeter, a front side, a back side, a left side, and a right side. A visor is attached to the front side of the hat crown. A headband connecting member is attached along the inside perimeter of the hat crown for releasably connecting a plurality of components to the hat, wherein the components are chosen from the group consisting of a chin strap, a sunglass mount, a one-piece ear muff attachment, a storm visor, an ear and neck winter guard, a hydration curtain, a pocket, a bug net, an internal headband, a reflective illuminator, a flashlight holder, a winter facemask with pockets, and an ornamental towel.
Abstract: The golf club of the present invention provides a club head wherein a shaft is bent so as to be directly insertable into the ball striking face adjacent the heel, thereby eliminating totally the need for a shaft hosel. The shaft may enter the club face at various locations and the bend of the shaft will vary between a minimum of five degrees to a maximum of 180 degrees depending, in part, on the loft angle of the particular club head. The hosel-less design of the present club provides slightly less wind resistance and theer is less mass to get tangled in grass when hitting from rough areas.
Abstract: A fairway type metal wood golf club head having a low profile and an upright trapezoidal shape providing a low center of gravity to facilitate getting a golf ball airborne from a tight or rough lie condition.
Abstract: An overhead console for a motor vehicle, boat, or aircraft, is disclosed. The console includes a console housing having a leading end and a trailing end, a monitor mounted in the leading end of the console housing, and a compartment for storing a source of video signals.
Abstract: An iron type golf club head having a secondary outermost perimeter weight system including a weight member extending outwardly from and overlaying the primary perimeter surfaces of the club head, which further displaces the mass of the club head from the center of percussion. The secondary outer weight member extends from the primary perimeter surfaces of the club head body onto at least a portion of the hosel forming a unitized interconnection between the hosel and the club head body.
Abstract: A golf training device for training a golfer to execute a putting stroke including a neck engaging member, a longitudinal strap having a first end attached to the neck engaging member and a free end. The strap includes a weighted ring which causes the strap to hang downwardly in a vertical direction when the neck engaging member is placed around the neck of a golfer and used during the execution of a putting stroke. In use, a golfer grasps the strap holding it firmly against a handle of a golf club thereby fixing the distance between the hands and his shoulders, neck and head, ensuring a repetitive consistent putting stroke.
