Abstract: Adhesive applicator in which an adhesive-coated tape is moved from one capstan to another, and a mandrel supporting a tubular core is advanced toward and away from the tape to apply adhesive to the outer surface of the core.
Abstract: Display easel having an elongated connector to which are attached three legs which can be moved from parallel storage positions to angular erection positions to form a tripod. The connector has a longitudinal passage in which slides a support rod, the movement of the legs from their storage positions to their erected positions causing the legs to lock the rod at a selected position in the passage. The legs have telescoping extensions and at least one leg has an auxiliary element that is held on the leg by a blind rivet whose head lies in a protuberance in the leg, so that its head does not interfere with sliding of the extension in the leg for adjustment.
Abstract: Bag for carrying golf clubs on a golf cart, which bag has a tubular main body with a base at the lower end and a cuff at the upper end. The cuff has an upper edge that slopes from the back to the front of the main body. A golf cart strap retainer is located on the back and a handle is located on the front on the upper portion of the main body. Rods extend transversely of the cuff to divide the opening into three sectors for the storage of long woods, short irons, and intermediate sized clubs.
Abstract: Insole formed as a composite of a network of reinforcing fibers embedded in a matrix of a thermoplastic material having a softening temperature in the order of 90.degree. C. and retains its softening for a reasonable time at a lower temperature that is not uncomfortable to the human skin. The insole is formed to the shape of the bottom of the wearer's foot by placing it while still soft in the shoe and allowing it to harden while being subjected to the wearer's standing weight.
Abstract: A controlled product feed system for delivering discrete products at high speed to a downstream industrial operation which requires accurate speed and position of delivery. A retarding force is applied to the product stream to accumulate an abutting sequence of products with means controlling the rate of package release to correspond to the downstream operation and timing the release to obtain a predetermined phase of arrival of products at the point of delivery.

Abstract: A peritoneal catheter for introducing and withdrawing fluid from an abdominal cavity which catheter has a plurality of ingress and egress ports spaced about the circumference and along the length of the intra-abdominal portion, which ports are arranged to decrease in size from the proximal to the distal end and, further which has a body portion formed into at least a one-half turn. The catheter tubing and the ports therein are coated with Ultra-low Temperature Isotropic carbon.

Abstract: Guitar bow having horse hair strands applied to a cylindrical surface for engagement with one string only of a flat string array, and having a holding portion to facilitate bowing.
Abstract: A floating dock section is attachable to adjacent sections to provide floating dock structures of various configurations. The sections are formed by coating polymer foam with a polyurethane elastomer so as to seal the polymer foam. A decking is affixed to the coated foam with an adhesive which may be a polyurethane elastomer and extending downwardly from the decking are edge members that tightly grip the polymer foam. The entire structure is coated when assembled by applying a polyurethane elastomer of somewhat denser material and the decking itself may be suitably roughened to avoid slippage.
Abstract: An ear clip is molded from a plastic material and has two arms hinged together. The arms are each attached to a curved link by hinges. The link expands and contracts between its two ends maintaining the arms in one of two positions and urges the arms to return to one of two positions.
Abstract: Apparatus for displaying ear rings for use with pierced ears, including a front panel on which an ear ring ornament appears and a locking panel located at the rear of the front panel for holding a clutch in place.
Abstract: Feeder for birds, especially hummingbirds, that has a stem rising from the center of a bowl and that has a cover for the bowl through which the stem passes, which cover is selectively locked to the stem for loosening on occasion to permit filling of the bowl.
Abstract: A coin slot cover for telephones to indicate an out-of-order condition. A plate with a pair of locking tabs extending therefrom that may be inserted into the coin slot of a pay telephone.
Abstract: A shaft for a yacht steering pedestal has a swivel between the pedestal outer bearing and the steering wheel. The swivel permits the wheel to be rocked from a normal athwartships position to an angular position alongside the pedestal and thereby gain walking freedom in the cockpit of a sailing vessel.
Abstract: Container for Venetian blind including a tube of corrugated board of triangular cross-section and a reinforcing element of angular configuration made of chip board.
Abstract: An electronic control system for electrically operated keyless locks utilizes a matrix keyboard to supply signals to a digital lock circuit for operating a duress alarm relay circuit, a lock release delay relay circuit, an alarm shunt delay relay circuit and a tamper disable circuit. The lock release delay relay circuit and alarm shunt delay relay circuit operate off of the same signal from the digital lock circuit for differing predetermined periods of time. The tamper disable circuit upon receipt of an invalid code from the matrix keyboard inhibits further operation of the lock release delay relay circuit and the alarm shunt relay circuit for a predetermined period of time. The duress alarm relay circuit operates off of a different signal from the digital lock circuit than the other circuits and is not affected by their operation.
Abstract: Pants for use when performing work in which sitting and kneeling take place frequently, as in roofing work, the pants having effective special construction in the seat and knee areas.
Abstract: A length of fabric supported by aluminum rods forced into the sand providing a "fence" for the purpose of deflecting windblown sand away from beachgoing sunbathers while offering more privacy in a lightweight portable device.
Abstract: A target throwing apparatus mount is provided with a support post and a lateral member on which a seat may be mounted. For security of the apparatus a housing fits over the apparatus and has a bar that engages the post and an eye that engages a mooring eye on the lateral member. The arrangement pulls the housing into the support post and when the eyes are locked together, the housing may not be removed.
Abstract: A game apparatus consists essentially of a game board, cards, set of playing pieces for each player, a compact disc with multiple tracks set up in such a way that the playing pieces, or tokens, for each player will move around the board surface which may comprise a single or dual segmented path. Part or all of the segments contain one of the numbers in a two number selection code on the compact disc. Cards which are provided as part of the game apparatus, will contain a second number of the two number selection code so that as playing the game, once both numbers are determined, the player will know which track to punch in on the compact disc control. The instructions on the compact disc track will determine further moves and actions and enhances the game play.
