  • Patent number: 5680779
Abstract: Described is a washer having a driving unit which is installed at the lower portion of a rotation axis and rotates the rotation axis, a feed unit which is axially connected to the rotation axis and moves up and down as the rotation axis rotates, and a wash plate which is fixedly installed at the upper portion of the feed unit and has an up-and-down motion as the rotation axis rotates. An up-and-down motion of the wash plate enables even distribution of a heart-type water flow, which then contributes to the prevention of tangling of wash articles at the central portion of a wash tub as well as clinging of wash articles to a pulsator. By using a washer of the present invention, increased washing efficiency can be expected.

  • Patent number: 5662357
Abstract: A car height control apparatus comprising: a weight sensing section for sensing a rear shaft force of a car; a bellows in which one end is fixed at the lengthwise frame, and the other end is adhered closely to a leaf spring that supports the lengthwise frame; an air tank for storing gas to be used in the bellows; and a control section for controlling the quantity of compressed air that inflows into the bellows by the weight sensing section signal. When unbalancing force is concentrated on rear shaft, load sensor generates the signal and transmits it to the controller. The controller that has received the signal opens the leveling valve to supply the compressed air toward the bellows. The bellows which is supplied with the compressed air increases its volume along the longitudinal direction, so the distance between lengthwise frame and leaf spring is greater. Finally, spring and shock absorber of suspension system recover and maintain the normal car height.

  • Patent number: 5660464
Abstract: A halogen lamp comprises a lamp casing, a lamp disposed in the lamp casing, a halogen tube disposed in the lamp, and a halogen lamp protection net covering the lamp. A protection plate covers the halogen tube. A first press plate has a first proximal end and a first distal end. A first through hole is formed on a middle portion of the first press plate. A first threaded hole is formed on the first distal end. A second press plate has a second proximal end and a second distal end. A second through hole is formed on a middle portion of the second press plate. A second threaded hole is formed on the second distal end. The first distal end is inserted in the lamp. The first proximal end presses a first end of the protection plate. The lamp and the first end of the protection plate are fastened together. The second distal end is inserted in the lamp. The second proximal end presses a second end of the protection plate. The lamp and the second end of the protection plate are fastened together.

  • Patent number: 5658011
Abstract: An air bag apparatus in a tire air pressure sensing system for a vehicle capable of reliably protecting passengers of the vehicle from accidents regardless of the pattern of the accident which includes a collision sensing section, a pressure sensing section, a receiving section, an Electronic Control Unit, a warning section and an air bag actuating section. The collision sensing sections has first and second collision sensors, and pressure sensing section has pressure sensors and radio transmitters. The warning section has sound and visual warning units, and air bag actuating section has an inflatable air bag and an inflator. Here, the air bag is operated when the first collision sensors monitor the shock at least a first shock value, or the second collision sensors monitor the shock at least the second shock value while the pressure sensors monitor a pressure below a pressure value presented by a no-load state of an air pressure in the tire.

  • Patent number: 5634227
Abstract: A washing-time compensating method compensates for the washing time of a washing machine according to a water supply time during executing a washing operation. After setting a speculative total washing time required for the washing in accordance with a program internally stored in terms of a washing condition set by a user, a quantity of water supplied up to a predetermined water level within a washtub is sensed to calculate a total water supply time according to the number of supplying the water throughout overall washing procedure. The calculated total water supply time is compared with the speculative total water supply time set in the initial stage to calculate an additional water supply time, so that the washing operation is performed for the washing time obtained by compensating for the total washing time to timely carry out the washing operation within the set washing time.

  • Patent number: 5633853
Abstract: An optical pickup device for reading a multitude of disks. A first optical system for reading a first optical disk by generating a first laser beam, exposing the first laser beam on the first optical disk and receiving a first reflected light from the first optical disk system, and a second optical system for reading a second optical disk by producing a second laser beam, exposing the second laser beam on the second optical disk and receiving a second reflected light from the second optical disk are provided. Reproduction of the multitude of disks without transporting the pickup device can be formed continuously.
