    Abstract: The present invention discloses an enhanced base station, which includes a Um interface functional module (1), a base station functional module (2), a controller functional module (3), and an A interface functional module (4), wherein the Um interface functional module (1), the base station functional module (2) and the A interface functional module (4) carry out the function of a BTS, and the controller functional module (3) and the A interface functional module (4) carry out the function of a BSC. The present invention also provides a method and a GSM system for realizing a flat mobile communication, wherein the enhanced base station carries out the functions of a BTS and a BSC in a conventional GSM system. Application of the present invention can decrease the number of devices for constituting the GSM system and the number of forwarding devices between a calling MS and a called MS, therefore reduce the time for service data transmission and improve the reliability of the transmission.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method of terminal PTT registration based on CDMA trunking system and the system thereof, comprising: a user terminal is powered and a normal CDMA registration flow is completed, and afterwards the value of a PTT registration message counter is initialized; the user terminal sends a PTT registration message to a dispatching sub-system (server) and starts a PTT registration timer; and a corresponding process is performed according to the response message from the dispatching server, which is the reception of the trunking registration or the rejection of the trunking registration. Therefore the terminal with CDMA trunking function can avoid the problem caused by a failed PTT registration.

    Abstract: The Field Testing Instrument (FTI) is designed for use in the regular maintenance and installation of airport Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI). The FTI is a self-contained and portable instrument that accurately measures the most important PAPI parameters, such as vertical aiming angle, transition angle, and light intensity. In addition to working with the current incandescent PAPIs, the FTI also measures parameters specific to the next generation LED PAPI. The FTI uses modern, efficient technology to reduce the life-cycle cost of approach lighting systems. The FTI improves on traditional PAPI testing methods by directly measuring the PAPI light beam focused to a target plate, as if seen from the pilot perspective. Due to significantly improvements in measurement accuracy and reliability, the FTI may supplement and even replace costly flight checks for PAPI maintenance with ground based operation.
