Abstract: A rear-wheel steering angle control device includes a target rear-wheel steering angle calculating means for calculating a target rear-wheel steering angle based upon the detection by a detecting means. The target rear-wheel steering angle calculating means further calculates an averaged locus by averaging a front end point running locus based upon a sample point memorized by a front end point locus memorizing means. The target rear-wheel steering angle calculating means still further limits the target rear-wheel steering angle not to deviate a vehicle rear end point from an inner range of the averaged locus.
Abstract: A vacuum generator is provided wherein the intake vacuum of a combustion engine is led to a negative pressure device such as a vacuum booster of a brake booster device through a check valve. An idling air passage is connected to a suction pipe of the combustion engine to bypass a throttle valve arranged in the suction pipe. An ejector is arranged in the idling air passage at the downstream of an idle speed control valve in serial relation to the same, and the intake for idling is performed through the ejector. As the intake air flow passing through the idling air passage increases, the intake negative pressure which is generated at a vacuum takeout port of the ejector is further increased in absolute value, whereby the negative pressure device has a negative pressure which is further increased in absolute value.

Abstract: What is proposed here is a method of structuring surfaces of glass-type materials and variants of this method, comprising the following steps of operation: providing a semiconductor substrate, structuring, with the formation of recesses, of at least one surface of the semiconductor substrate, providing a substrate of glass-type material, joining the semiconductor substrate to the glass-type substrate, with a structured surface of the semiconductor substrate being joined to a surface of the glass-type substrate in an at least partly overlapping relationship, and heating the substrates so bonded by annealing in a way so as to induce an inflow of the glass-type material into the recesses of the structured surface of the semiconductor substrate. The variants of the method are particularly well suitable for the manufacture of micro-optical lenses and micro-mechanical components such as micro-relays or micro-valves.

Abstract: A door lock system for a vehicle includes a latch mechanism, a link mechanism and a housing. The latch mechanism is adapted to a vehicle door and latches the vehicle door to a vehicle body. The link mechanism includes an electric driving source and a plurality of lever members for selectively locking and unlocking the latch mechanism. The housing accommodates the latch mechanism and the link mechanism.
Abstract: Keyless inking and dampening systems and methods are disclosed which employ application, subtractive and dampening roller systems to control the ink/dampening fluid film on the form roller. A clean-up roller removes residual ink from non-image areas on the printing plate.

Abstract: In an encoder signal interpolation divider (1) that automatically corrects errors in the offset and gain of an input signal at a high speed with a low cost circuit configuration, and can accurately generate an encoder signal having a predetermined resolution by interpolation division, analog input signals (A1, B1) are subjected to offset correction by a 0-point correction circuit (13) in adders (4, 5) prior to being digitally converted by A/D converters (8, 9), and are subjected to gain correction by an amplitude correction circuit (14) in amplifiers (6, 7). The corrected analog signals are converted to digital values, angle data is calculated in an angle data lookup table (10), and, based on these results, an encoder pulse signal having a predetermined resolution is generated and output from an encoder pulse signal generating circuit (12).
Abstract: A capacitive pressure sensor and its manufacturing method can simplify the alignment and the bonding process in a vacuum, and stably carry out the bonding process. The capacitive pressure sensor includes an insulating, first substrate with a capacitance electrode, a second substrate which has a diaphragm electrode so as to separate a vacuum chamber and a pressure-measuring chamber on respective surfaces, and an insulating, third substrate with a gas inlet. The substrates are bonded in a manner that the capacitance electrode faces the diaphragm electrode and the pressure-measuring chamber leads to the gas inlet. In addition, a getter chamber is formed in the same surface of the second substrate as the pressure-measuring chamber, and the getter chamber is connected to the vacuum chamber.
Abstract: A drilling tool set includes a plurality of drilling tools having different operative drill diameters to blast drill holes of different respective diameters. Each drilling tool of the set has a basic body defining a central axis of rotation, and two replaceable indexable bits including a center bit and a periphery bit which are mountable in respective center and periphery pockets formed in a front end of the basic body. The periphery bits of the respective drill tools of the set are identical, and the center bits of the respective drill tools of the set are identical. Each of the center and periphery pockets of each drill tool defines a radial center point. A first of the drill tools has a smaller operative drill diameter than a second of the drill tools. The first tool includes a first periphery pocket and a center pocket. The center point of the first periphery pocket is disposed closer to the axis than is the center point of the second periphery pocket.
Abstract: A track pin bushing for cooperating with a track pin in an endless track has a tubular body with a metallurgically bonded wear-resistant coating and a method for forming such a coated track pin bushing is taught herein. The tubular body, formed of an iron-based alloy, has an outer surface that is carburized and quenched, i.e., case-hardened, in at least a section thereof. At least a portion of the case hardened section has been removed to a depth sufficient to expose a non-carburized layer of the iron-based alloy. A hard metal alloy slurry is disposed on the non-carburized layer and forms a metallurgical bond between the non-carburized layer and the coated unfused slurry by fusing the hard metal alloy. The thickness of the unfused slurry is adjusted to be from 1.67 to 2.0 times a final thickness of the wear-resistant coating. The wear-resistant coating comprises a fused, metal alloy comprising at least 60% iron, cobalt, nickel, or alloys thereof.
