Abstract: A memory system is accessed and precharged by accessing adjacent columns in the memory array with a pulsed select signal in a first state and then enabling precharge circuitry to precharge the adjacent columns using the same select signal in a second state. Latches, coupled to the outputs of the sense amplifiers sensing the data from the adjacent cells, are also controlled by a pulsed signal synchronized with the select signal such that at the same time the adjacent columns are selected and accessed, the latches detect the data sensed by their corresponding sense amplifier. Once the select signal changes to its second state, the adjacent columns are deselected and the latches are disabled such that the data sensed from the adjacent columns is saved by the latches and provided to the output of the memory system and such that the precharge circuitry is enabled and the adjacent column bitlines are precharged.
Abstract: Agrochemical combinations including an effective amount of an insecticide which includes an insecticide from the chloronicotinyl family A such as imidacloprid, acetamiprid or nitenpyram, and an insecticide B having a pyrazole, pyrrole or phenylimidazole group; compositions containing one or both of said two active substances; and a method for treating and protecting plants, and seeds in particular, from insects or arthropods, by applying a combination of both active substances, are disclosed. A composition containing both active substances may also be applied. Alternatively, two compositions each containing one of the active substances may be applied simultaneously or sequentially to ensure a combined effect.

Abstract: A refrigerator includes a main body, freezing and refrigerating compartments formed in the main body, an evaporator for generating cool air, and a cool air dispersing system for dispersing cool air in the refrigerating compartment. The cool air dispersing system has a horizontal cool air dispersing device rotatable about a vertical axis for dispersing the cool air in a horizontal direction, a motor for rotating the horizontal cool air dispersing device, and a vertical cool air dispersing device for dispersing the cool air in the vertical direction. A force converting device is provided for vertically moving the vertical cool air dispersing device using a rotational force of the horizontal cool air dispersing device.
Abstract: In processing received postal items, of opened envelopes an image of an envelope (4) is recorded by means of a registration assembly (67, 71, 74). The registration assembly (67, 71, 74) is so configured relative to an inverting structure for inverting a front wall or a rear wall (42) of an envelope (4), that the recording of an image of one of the walls of an envelope (4) is carried out each time after the inversion of that wall (42). As a result, images of the front wall and the rear wall of the envelope can be recorded from the same side, independently of the orientation in which the envelope has been supplied. Moreover, images of the front wall and the rear wall can always be recorded from the same side.
