Abstract: A system for removably mounting an accessory on a pottery wheel. The system includes a locating pin which is attached to the pottery wheel at a nominal location. The location of the locating pin may be adjusted. The system also includes a hole fabricated in an accessory at a location corresponding to the nominal location. The location of the locating pin is adjusted to align with the location of the hole and the hole is slid onto the locating pin, thereby mounting the accessory on the pottery wheel.
Abstract: A system and a process for a session layer protocol allows a large number of client machines to receive a reliable data stream over inherently unreliable multicast connections in a highly efficient and scalable manner. More specifically, streaming of high-quality video, audio, stock and news tickers, or any other application specific data that requires a reliable data stream is described. The streaming allows for the source to instruct individuals to drop their connection to the stream to prevent noisy individuals from disrupting the operating efficiency of the stream.

Abstract: A mechanism for attaching a light stick to a filament, includes opposing elements having proximal ends attached to the light stick and distal ends. A gap is formed between the elements. Near the distal end the gap is tapered to form a funnel portion wider than the filament. Near the proximal end the gap forms a gripping portion narrower than the filament.
