Abstract: A detection and warning system is presented. The system comprises a logic element, a conductive element, and an indicator. The conductive element is connected to the logic element. The conductive element is embedded at a predetermined location in an object such as a tire tread. When the conductive element breaks after the tire tread wears to a predetermined level, the logic element signals the indicator to warn of an unsafe condition.
