    Abstract: A dust ruffle structure sized and shaped to be positioned on and around a lower supporting structure and underneath an upper mattress on a bed comprising: a sheet of dust ruffle material, the sheet of dust ruffle material being long enough to embrace sides of the bed, and a friction fastening structure. The friction fastening structure has a non-slip, friction surface, the friction fastening structure is secured along the length of the sheet of dust ruffle material at an upper edge thereof, whereby the upper edge of the sheet of dust ruffle material can then be tucked by a person's fingers a desired distance underneath the upper mattress in between the upper mattress and the lower supporting structure.

    Abstract: An object, which can be used as an advertising item, promotional item, toy, or decorative figure, is segmented into at least two portions which are mounted in an aligned fashion on opposing sides of a surface so that the object appears to be extending through the surface. The object is provided in the shape of a commercial product to be advertised, or in the shape of a creature, such as animal or insect, or in the shape of holiday character, such as Santa Clause or a Halloween bat. The object is attached to the surface using suction cups which are mounted within the hollow interior of the object, so that when the object is mounted to the surface in an aligned fashion, the suction cups are not seen by viewer. The individual portions of the segmented object can be also be attached directly to each other to form a complete toy which can be played with in a traditional manner.

    Abstract: Attractive furniture which encloses a speaker system for improved functionality of both the furniture and speaker system. The furniture is hollow and can be lamps, tables or other pieces, allowing placement of a speaker system unobtrusively and attractively within a room. The speakers are arranged vertically within the hollow furniture, emitting sound vertically upwards and or downwards. Sound directing devices having parabolic surfaces are placed adjacent the speakers to redirect the sound horizontally over a 360 degree range. The furniture may enclose a single speaker and sound directing device or multiples of the same so as to achieve the desired sound output and aesthetic appearance.
