Patent number: 8281957Abstract: A device for holding containers and warming their contents. The containers are removably attached to the cover of the device by a neck which accommodates a dispenser pump. The containers hold substances such as creams, pastes, gels, lotions and the like especially, shaving cream liquid solution. The temperature of the device can be preset or adjustable. Timers can select the time of day to begin and end the heat cycle. Visual and/or audio indicators can be activated to indicate the substances are at the desired temperature. The device cover may include a scupper ledge contain any spillage from the dispenser pump.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2008Date of Patent: October 9, 2012Inventor: Calvin Ree Farmer

Patent number: 7674122Abstract: This invention relates to providing a means to removeably mount a feed through/grounding bushing commonly used to bond together, ground and/or park power distribution cables. Many pieces of power distribution equipment have U brackets for removable attachment of accessories and temporary placed maintenance equipment. The present invention addresses holding the bushing at an angle relative to the U bracket and surrounding surface and adjustability of the bushing height relative to the U bracket for strain relief and adjusting for improved work room. Also addressed is the advantage of cable identification by numbering the wells so that a lineman may readily select the cables even after the bushing may have been set aside for equipment replacement. This is especially useful on but not limited to this invention since the U bracket mounting means is moveable and would not always provide positive identification of one end of a multi well bushing.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2008Date of Patent: March 9, 2010Inventor: Denton L. Jackson, III

Patent number: 7645926Abstract: A stringed musical instrument combination of at least two traditional stringed musical instruments or of nontraditional stringed musical instruments or a mix of traditional and nontraditional. The combination presents the advantages of rapid exchange while playing, reduced storage or transportation volume and a lower cost than two separate instruments. The preferred embodiment is a Fiddolin, a commercially available violin modified to present a mandolin on its back face. The string tension requirement is solved by having additional structure to mount the mandolin pegs into and the angularity needed to keep the strings pulled over the nut by channels or lumens to conduct the strings through.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2006Date of Patent: January 12, 2010Inventor: Clennon Wayne Jerrolds

Patent number: 7594861Abstract: A one way action golf club flex modification system mounted within a golf club. The non-linear shape of the flex modification member engages the interior wall of the hollow shaft at two regions on opposite sides of the shaft interior and is affixed to a third point in the handle. The “free” end of the flex modification system is closest to the head and generally oriented toward the striking face of the head. The one way action reduces the flexibility of the shaft during the swing toward the golf ball but allows the shaft to flex forward with the travel of the ball. The plane described by the waive shape of the flex member may be fixedly rotated relative to the shaft to allow fine tuning to accommodate the individual swing of the golfer.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 2007Date of Patent: September 29, 2009Assignee: Directflex, LLCInventor: Don W. Patent number: 7309066Abstract: A casino wagering game where at least one player has the options to either place multiple wagers against a dealer and/or banker (the house) in a game, to qualify for a pre-determined Bonus schedule, or both. However, uniquely by the design of the present invention, each participating player is initially dealt three cards creating at least two separate hands. Specifically, one of those cards dealt to each player is considered a “shared card” in its relationship to each of the other two cards dealt to that player. Within the dealing, the house is dealt one hand of two cards. According to another aspect, the three cards initially dealt to each player, defined as at least two separate hands, may be treated separately in a Bonus game offered for an additional or separate wager. After the initial Bonus aspect of the game is resolved, a game defined by the house ensues.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2005Date of Patent: December 18, 2007Inventor: Frederic Wayne Donaldson

Patent number: 7156692Abstract: A lifting and anti torque lifting means to be attached to a clamp or other end termination of a temporary conductor. In power distribution services the most common use of such a temporary conductor is a grounding set which is used to provide a conductive path between power lines as a safety ground. The lifting means may be a separate retro fit assembly or may be made integral with grounding clamps or other end terminations. The lifting means allows the grounding clamp to be lifted into position with relatively light extendable long reach poles commonly used by lineman. The anti torque feature helps resist the tendency for the end terminations to cam off the line or other object the clamp has been placed on while the clamp is closed or opened. A second hook attached to the conductor proximate to a first end termination cooperates with a first hook of the lifting means in order to hang other end terminations of the conductor set.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2006Date of Patent: January 2, 2007Inventor: Denton L. Jackson, III

Patent number: 6886185Abstract: A protective glove is set forth. It is constructed to protect snag prone garments and especially hosiery. It is intended to be worn by a person donning or doffing such garments to protect those garments from rough skin, fingernails and jewelry on the hand or wrist that may be worn on either hand. It may also be worn by persons working with the delicate materials in industry. The glove is generally of a mitten configuration constructed from one or two pieces of a slick finish fabric or synthetic material and joined on the edges with a coating on the exterior side of the pieces except on the finger and thumb tip area which gives greater grip control without snagging the garments. The coating provides a non-snagging gripping area to allow the user to control the garment especially while donning while having the slick fingertip and thumb tip to allow a smoothing action to prevent folds and wrinkles.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2002Date of Patent: May 3, 2005Inventor: Estella Wren

Patent number: 6829914Abstract: A locking device for inhibiting the movement of control arm of a machine relative to a second arm having a tubular main shaft body connected to a first hook base plate, a telescopic shaft body with a diameter adapted to be inserted into the main shaft body and connected to a second hook base plate, a pair of hooks connected to each of the first and second base plates at the ends of the plates and oriented substantially parallel to the shaft bodies and further oriented such that each member of the hook pair opposes the other member by substantially one hundred and eighty degrees. Various applications for the device are disclosed, as well as method for securing an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) with the device.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2003Date of Patent: December 14, 2004Inventor: Terry Bullock
