Abstract: A multi-presentational package for disposable diapers such that the package may be presented in a multi-package form or an individual-package form. One exemplary embodiment of the package may include a plurality of disposable diaper products, a plurality of stabilizers, and a wrapping layer. The multi-presentational package may be marketed as a single unit such that a substantial portion of said plurality of disposable diaper products is visible to the consumer and/or the plurality of disposable diaper products and plurality of stabilizers may be removed from said multi-presentation package and subsequently marketable as multiple units.

Abstract: A disposable pull-on garment is provided having a front region, a back region and a crotch region. The garment includes a chassis having edge lines in the front and back regions. A pair of extensible front ear panels extends laterally outward from the chassis in the front region, and a pair of extensible back ear panels extends laterally outward from the chassis in the back region. Each of the panels is joined along its outermost edge line to its corresponding opposite front or back ear panel to form two overlapping seams, two leg openings and a waist opening. At least one of the overlapping seams has a substantially bonded portion and an unbonded portion such that the ratio in the length of the unbonded portion to the substantially bonded portion is between about 4:96 and about 20:80.

Abstract: Disclosed are diapers, and particularly baby diapers, which are made and provided to the user in a substantially flat condition. The diapers are formed into a three dimensional garment by the user and maintained in this position through use of a closure system. The closure system includes a tape type closure system with a designated zone on the diaper where the tape type closures are to be attached. Preferably the closure system includes a mechanical interlocking system known as a hook and loop fastening system or Velcro™.

Abstract: An extruded web is disclosed. The extruded web can be either a nonwoven material of a films. The web comprises a plasto-elastic material where the plasto-elastic material is a combination of a first polyolefin and a second polyolefin (either a polymeric blends or a polymeric mixture). The claimed combination of polyolefins results in a material that has substantially plastic properties when a sample taken from said web is subjected to an initial strain cycle (such that the web is provided with a set of at least 30% by an initial strain cycle) and substantially elastic properties when a sample taken from the web is subjected to at least a second strain cycle.

Abstract: Absorbent articles having a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between said topsheet and said backsheet are disclosed. The absorbent articles include a plasto-elastic material joined to or disposed on at least one of component of the absorbent article to impart sizing or shaping capabilities to the article. The plasto-elastic material has substantially plastic properties when said absorbent article is subjected to an initial strain cycle, for example, when the article is placed on a wearer, and has substantially elastic properties when subjected to a second strain cycle such as when the article is subsequently adjusted to conform to the size of the wearer. The absorbent article can be in the form of diapers, pull-on diapers, training pants, sanitary napkins, wipes, bibs, incontinence briefs or inserts.

At least a portion of the outer cover is joined to the absorbent core assembly over at least a first attachment area and a second attachment area. The overall lateral width of the second attachment area is less than the overall lateral width of the first attachment area. At least a portion of the second attachment area is disposed in a hip region of the article. The first attachment area is disposed longitudinally outboard from the second attachment area.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a disposable absorbent article comprising a chassis defining a front waist region, a rear waist region, and a crotch region disposed between the front waist region and rear waist region. The article includes front and back ear panels that are joined at opposing side seams. The side seam can include an initiation region, which can be bonded or unbonded, and a propagation region. The initiation region and the propagation region have a resistance to user-applied opening forces. The resistance at the initiation region is less than that of the propagation region. The seam can further include additional regions. The article can include a tab member that can be engaged by the user to facilitate opening of the seam.

The chassis has a central panel having a waist edge and side edges, an ear panel having a waist edge, and a waistband panel in the front region and the back region. The waistband panel extends longitudinally outwardly from the waist edge of the central panel and the waist edge of the ear panel.

The central panel of the front belt portion is joined to the front waist panel of the absorbent main body.
