Abstract: Provided are a single type substrate treating apparatus and method. A polishing unit is disposed in a process chamber for polishing a substrate chemically and mechanically, and a cleaning unit is disposed in the same process chamber for cleaning the substrate. Therefore, according to the single substrate treating apparatus and method, a polishing process and a cleaning process can be performed on a substrate in the same process chamber by a single substrate treating method in which substrates are treated one by one.

Abstract: A substrate cleaning apparatus includes a supporting plate supporting a substrate and a shielding unit that is disposed above the substrate to protect the substrate. A portion of the shielding unit, which is adjacent to a focal point where light for generating shock waves is focused, is switched. Therefore, the substrate cleaning apparatus prevents the concentration of plumes and residence beams, which are generated together with the shock waves, on a specific region of the shielding unit and further prevents the recontamination of the substrate by the damage of the shielding unit.

Abstract: A golf club training implement is described which includes a tapered sleeve having a first end, a tapered second end, and a longitudinal slit opening therein so that the implement fits over a shaft of a club for slidable placement on or along a golf club grip. A substantially circular guard is attached to and abuts the sleeve first end. The guard is oriented at an angle relative to the sleeve first end so that the sleeve has a longer first side and an opposite shorter second side between the sleeve first and second ends.
Abstract: A wheel handling apparatus includes a wheel engaging arrangement for holding a wheel assembly that is to be removed from a vehicle. The wheel engaging arrangement includes a first and a second wheel support arm, each of which is curved to follow the circumference of the wheel assembly to define a cradle in which the wheel assembly can rest as it is removed from the vehicle. The wheel handling apparatus further includes a wheel pivoting arrangement whereby the wheel engaging arrangement can be moved between a first orientation and a second orientation thus causing the wheel assembly held by the wheel engaging arrangement to be moved between a first and second orientation.
Abstract: A frame has an opening, a gate mechanism partially bounding the opening, and a longitudinally extending rail. A tool that has a slot is adapted to receive the rail to removably attach the tool to the frame. The gate mechanism includes a gate that is pivotably coupled to the frame to permits access to the opening in the frame.
