Abstract: A corrosion-free, weight-reduced, separation-free and rubber-adhesive vibroisolating device for absorbing vibration of radiator. The device includes: a rubber vibroisolating body inserted into and supported by a fixation jig formed on a vehicle body; a support portion integrally formed with the rubber vibroisolating body; and a plastic sheet body integrally injection-molded with the rubber vibroisolating body and provided with an inner protruder to be buried in the support portion and a support curvature for supporting an upper support bracket of the radiator.
Abstract: A cutting element having a body which includes a grip portion from which extends a protrusion which is concentric to the grip portion. The diameter of the grip portion is larger than the diameter of the protrusion. Moreover, the upper portion of the protrusion has a larger diameter than the base of the protrusion. An ultra hard material cutting layer is formed on top of the protrusion and grip, covering and surrounding the protrusion resulting in a cutting layer that is mechanically interlocked with the body of the cutting element. A transition layer may be incorporated between the protrusion and the ultra hard material layer. The transition layer is preferably encapsulated by the ultra hard material layer.
Abstract: A self-locking fastener system comprises a pin for receipt in a hole in a workpiece and having an external thread which mates with a collar having an internal thread for carrying a tensile load. A plurality of helically extending flutes in the external thread on the pin collectively extend approximately one full revolution around the circumference of the thread. The collar has three longitudinally extending lobes for driving by a deltoid driver socket. When a desired clamp-up load is achieved on a workpiece, the socket plastically deforms the lobes and collar material radially inwardly thereof so that some of the collar material inwardly from each lobe is displaced into the void volume created by a helical flute. This displaced collar material inhibits unscrewing of the collar from the pin.
