Abstract: A stabilizing belt for use by a person in need of assisted mobility, the stabilizing belt comprising a pad, a belt to wrap around the pad and secure the pad to a wearer, and a pair of handles attached to the pad. The pad may be uniquely contoured to provide support and comfort for the wearer, either the caregiver or the person in need of assisted mobility. A strap may be provided for added security and comfort. The belt may further comprise handle supports for reinforcement, a cover for durability, and a pocket for versatility.
Abstract: A decorative tree has a trunk, a plurality of double limbs and individual limbs connected to the trunk, and controlling electronics. Each double limb includes two individual limbs joined at a branch joint. Each individual limb has a plurality of flexible lamp stems and a molded branch formed around a structural rod. The lamp stem has two insulated wires, has a stiffening rod wrapped in a smooth sheath, and terminates in a molded lamp holder that supports an LED. Each lateral lamp stem connects to the molded branch at a molded branch fork and the tip lamp stem connects to an end of the stiffening rod. The controlling electronics provide an operating signal to the LED, which preferably causes the LED to sequentially emit more than one color in a repeated sequence.
Abstract: A planar triangular patch for cleaning firearm bores. The patch has similarly sized notches placed centrally along the edges of the patch, permitting a uniform level of pleating as the patch is inserted into a firearm bore and wraps around a jag. The patch is made of a material design to clean and preserve the interior of a firearm bore and applies uniform pressure against the bore as it presents the face of its longest radius to the bore interior, cleaning the entire bore simultaneously.
Abstract: A shampoo formulation comprising a shampoo, bicarbonate soda, and onion skins used alone or in combination with a conditioner comprising acetic acid for the treatment of hair loss and promotion of hair growth.

Abstract: A resonant DC to DC converter circuit receiving an input voltage and capable of delivering multiple output voltages, while maintaining excellent cross-regulation with only one power transformer. The circuit of the invention uses trailing edge modulation, along with a new amplitude modulation arrangement which allows for the use of resonance with synchronous rectification and only a single power transformer. Thus, the circuit provides for DC to DC conversion, as well as an amplitude modulation arrangement.
Abstract: An expandable fixture for various linear lamp lengths that includes telescoping segments and a lamp connector connected to one or more of the telescoping segments. The telescoping segments defines a longitudinal axis and includes at least two segments slidably engaged with each other. In this way, the length of the expandable fixture may be increased and decreased along the longitudinal axis of the expandable fixture. The expandable fixture may include a mechanism to lock the expandable fixture at the adjusted length. In a typical version, the expandable fixture may have a length of about forty-eight (48) inches when fully extended and about twenty-four (24) inches when fully contracted, with the electrical ballast being housed within the fixture.
Abstract: A carrying bag comprising a main compartment having a front panel, a back panel and two side panels; two side flaps attached to the back panel protruding laterally; and a carrying strap having a first end attached to the first side flap and a second end attached to the second side flap, wherein the first and second side flaps have a first configuration and a second configuration, wherein in the first configuration, the side flaps project upwards so that the carrying strap can function as a shoulder strap and in the second configuration, the side flaps can be folded and secured onto itself to project laterally and function as a waist strap.

Abstract: A combination brush and jag (100) comprising a stem (14), a set of short bristles (62) having a first transverse diameter (61); a set of long bristles (64) having a second transverse diameter (63); the set of short bristles (62) and long bristles (64) positioned adjacent to each other and secured in between the stem (14); and a patch (71) to cover the set of short bristles (62). The first transverse diameter (61) is smaller than the second transverse diameter (63). The first transverse diameter (61) is also smaller than the bore diameter 1 or 8 of a bore (73) so as to define a circular gap (3) approximately the size of the thickness of the patch (71).
