Abstract: A nozzle holder (14) with at least one nozzle (34′; 34″), which ends at a mouth (38′; 38″), is used for manufacturing baking articles (54) from an extruded strand (56). In order to manufacture baking articles (54) which extend in a plane, the nozzle (34′; 34″) is pivotably mounted by means of a joint with a ball (32) and its mouth (38′; 38″) is displaceable by a pivoting device (45) in two axes (X; Y) extending at right angles to one another. Furthermore, constructed in the ball (32) is at least one connecting duct (48′; 48″), of which one end is connected to a stationary feed duct (50′; 50″) and the other end to the pivotable nozzle (34′; 34″).
Abstract: In order to manufacture coiled baking articles with at least one outer dough material (58) and with at least one inner dough material (56) or dough filling, a nozzle arrangement (10) comprises an inner stationary nozzle (14) and an outer nozzle (18) rotatably enclosing the inner nozzle (14). A mouth (20) of the outer nozzle (18) is arranged behind the mouth (16) of the inner nozzle (14) in the direction of flow in such a manner that the materials flow together at the mouth (16) of the inner nozzle (14) and on the path to the mouth (20) of the outer nozzle (18) the inner material (56) is set in rotation by the outer material (58) and is thereby compressed.

Abstract: Addictive drugs like cocaine, heroin or amphetamines are spreading in an epidemic manner in the western world and are an important factor in the spread of the acquired immune deficiency syndrome AIDS (multiple use of infected needles among drug addicts) the present invention describes a vaccine and immunoserum against drugs. The vaccine contains the drug bound to a carrier protein in order to produce antibodies against the drugs in the affected person. The use of the drug in the presence of the antibodies deactivates the drug. The desired drug effect is thus eliminated and the vicious circle between stimulation and application is broken.
Abstract: A needle assembly withdraws medicine from a vial having a rubber septum and injects the medicine into a port in a patient while not endangering the caregiver with an accidental stick with a contaminated used needle. The needle assembly includes a sharp hollow needle for penetrating a septum of a vial and a blunt cannula for injecting into an injection port. The needle can be of any type including intramuscular. The blunt cannula concentrically surrounding the sharp hollow needle, forms a liquid-tight seal with the sharp hollow needle, and extends relative to the sharp hollow needle in a locked position.
Abstract: When using wristwatches for diving or action sports, it is desirable to be able to prevent the winding button from being pulled out inadvertently and the time unintentionally altered. To avoid this, the button (3) has the overall shape of an H and a lever (2) engages in the groove (10) in said button (3) to prevent this button from being pulled out in error.
Abstract: A topical ophthalmic formulation in the form of an aqueous solution comprising a cyclosporin, hyaluronic acid or one of its salts, and polysorbate 80 is described.
Abstract: A drilling and anchoring device comprises a drilling pipe (8), a drilling tool (12) mounted at the end of the pipe, and one or several cables (4) and/or other anchoring reinforcements. The cables and/or other anchoring reinforcements are so attached to the drilling tool that the drilling tool remains in a grout body (7) formed by cement injection in the ground surrounding a drilling hole (6).
Abstract: The invention concerns a coating bar for pulp and paper manufacture, comprising a substrate coated over at least the greater part of its surface with a coat comprising a ceramic, characterised in that the coat consists of a mixture of ceramics, the coat having a wettability angle between 30° and 90°, and porosity less than 5%, the size of the pores being less than 5 &mgr;m.
Abstract: Modern warships are designed to withstand the effects of a near miss underwater explosive event. To demonstrate that ship structure and equipment are designed and built to the requisite standard it is common for the entire warship to be shock tested by detonating controlled explosive charges in close proximity to the vessel. By using a partially phased and partially synchronous array of seismic airguns of the type used in oil exploration it is possible to simulate the explosive shock wave and provide a safe, repeatable and more environmentally benign test. The method can be used to provide shock excitation directly onto the keel of a vessel due to the relatively low energy of the airgun discharge bubbles in addition to the more conventional off-beam scenarios. This novel method of shock testing can be applied to ships, submarines, underwater equipment and test models or specimens.
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for depolluting combustion gases set along the exhaust line of the gases. The device has a gas cooling chamber (9, 10) lowering the gas temperature to near 0 degrees Celsius. In one particular embodiment of the invention, the energy of the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine is used for providing the cold required for the depollution process.
