Abstract: A device for positioning an article (2) to be wrapped by a machine has a horizontal support body (3) centrally fixed on a vertical rotation shaft (4). The device (1) is equipped with at a least one plier device (5) connected, to turn together with the rotation shaft, to support the body (3), the plier device provided with at least two jaws (6,7). An opening apparatus (8) is connected to at least one of the jaws (6,7) to hold and to release the article (2). The at least one plier device (5) is connected to the support body (3) by a respective rotation device (9) for rotating the at least one plier device (5) and of the article held thereby, around an axis almost radial in respect to the support body (3).
Abstract: A device for supplying diodes LED includes an electric bridge (ABHG) with input terminals (A, B) and output terminals (H, G), including diodes (DS1, DS2) interposed between branches (AH, BH), with cathodes turned toward the terminal (H); Two MOSFET elements (M1, M2) are interposed between the branches (AG, BG). A capacitor (C) is derived between the terminals (H) and (G). A switch (KR) and LED diodes arranged in series, with their anodes oriented toward the terminal (H), and a first current sensor (S1) are arranged along a derived branch (R), between the terminals (H) and (G). An electric control unit (CE) receives in input feedback control signals coming from the first sensor (S1) and operates opening/closing of the switches (M1) and (M2), as well as of the branch switch (KR) in suitable relation with the trend of the alternating current (iz), to obtain a predetermined trend of the branch current (ir.) for power supplying the LED diodes.
Abstract: When according to the invention, a container is formed from a sheet-shaped material, and it is punched and scored such that the base (7) and the side members (3, 4, 5, 6) constitute an entity without incisions, cuts and the like, it is possible to achieve a container which is foldable, in that the side members may be folded inwards over the base, and which may be erected to provide a container which, when made of a combustible material, may be disposed of by incineration after use. As the container is completely liquid-tight, it may be used for liquid as well as solid contents.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for the manufacture of concrete pipes (2) made of an outer layer and having an inner layer of greater density in surface structure is described. The inner layer is applied by an applicator in a mould (1) having both outer (3) and inner (4) mould parts. The applicator is formed by an inner mould part or core (4) or by an applicator unit in immediate connection with the core (4). The applicator applies the inner layer simultaneously or immediately following vibration of the concrete forming the pipe. The inner layer is applied during movement of the inner mould part or core (4) in its longitudinal direction, the core having one or more supply openings (14) provided along the circumference of the core (4) at the upper end of the core (4) for supplying a further material of greater density to form the inner layer.
Abstract: An orbital wastewater treatment system includes a tank assembly, at least one impeller, a flow-diversion mechanism, an actuator, optionally at least one sensor disposed in the tank assembly, and a control unit. The tank assembly has an anoxic zone and an aerobic zone and passages between the two zones. The impeller is disposed in the tank assembly for aeration and for moving mixed liquor under process about the tank assembly. The flow-diversion mechanism is disposed at least one of the passages between the aerobic and the anoxic zone. The actuator is operatively connected to the gate for regulating the flow state or configuration thereof in response to a signal generated by the control unit at least partially pursuant to a predetermined schedule and/or at least partially in accordance with input from the sensor.

Abstract: A cooling and/or heating device (10, 60) for use in the cooling and/or heating of one or more units (8a to 8c) includes a conduit network containing flow and return conduits (14, 16; 68, 70), with several circuits (12a to 12c; 32 to 38, 74 to 78) connected to the flow and return conduits (14, 16; 68, 70). A heat transfer medium or coolant circulates through the conduit network, with at least one consuming device disposed in each circuit. Sensors (38) are provided in each circuit (12a-12c; 32-38; 74-78), the sensors (38) sending signals to a control unit and forming part of a control circuit. The control unit adjusts the valves (28, 88, 96) of each circuit as a function of the signals transmitted from the sensors (38) so as to hydraulically balance the individual circuits.

Abstract: The station for weighing containers comprises a line for transporting containers to be filled with a predetermined product, a zone for dosing and filling the containers with the product, a first transferring organ for picking up and transferring an individual empty container to a weighing organ, a second transferring organ for picking up and transferring the container to the weighing organ after filling. The panel is made of the expanded polyurethane resin or of a rigid structural foam having an increased hardness.
Abstract: A clothing packing apparatus for folding a clothing article, such as a suit, comprising a spacing material to separate parts of the folded clothing article comprises a parts that partial overlay a fold line in the aligned sleeves and the body of an article of clothing; a slit for folding the sleeves independently; gripping surfaces to engage the clothing article; rounded/tapered edges to eliminate pressure compressions; pre-formed bands to improve folding performance; and a casing for storage and transit. The spacing material is preferably formed of foam capable of forming a continuous U-shaped curve along the fold lines and an anti-collapsible structure when folded with the clothing article.

Abstract: A conveying apparatus is capable of changing the forward motion direction (V1) of sheet articles (10) by means of a first rotating diverting member (4) situated above a lower active run (2h) of a second conveyor (2). Abstract: A control valve for use in a liquid-carrying system, such as a heating or cooling system, containing a differential pressure governor which keeps the differential pressure between the inlet and the outlet constant. The control valve also includes an arrangement for setting and adjusting the maximum flow of liquid through the valve. This arrangement comprises a flow valve having two cooperating valve members (4 and 6), which are arranged in the flow path and are constructed as two concentric rings, each of which has a recess extending about 180 degrees in the circumferential direction. The outer ring (4) is stationary relative to the valve housing, while the inner ring (6) may be displaced in the circumferential direction by means of a rotatable handle, whereby a greater or smaller overlap between the recesses may be provided. The maximum flow amount may hereby be set manually.
Abstract: A method for transferring articles from a first to a second machine, which packs the articles in containers, using a transport line, interposed between the machines, which removably receives and moves the trays, each tray affording at least a seating complementarily shaped to an article, as well as at least two stores, for receiving the trays, respectively associated to a first station located at a start of the line and a second station located downstream of the first station with a first store containing a predetermined number of empty trays, the method comprising a partial filling of the second store with trays containing articles, and is such that a temporary malfunctioning of the first machine maintains the second machine in service up to emptying of the second store, and a temporary malfunctioning of the second machine maintains the first machine in service up to complete filling of the second store.
