Abstract: A computer readable storage medium includes executable instructions to receive a selection of two or more data source tables from one or more data sources, determine a data source table that defines keys, and receive mapping information that defines one or more column relationships between the data source table and a second data source table. Relationship structures between the data source tables are analyzed. The data source tables and the relationship structures are graphically represented in a sequential order where the order in which the data source tables are depicted is based on a depth of a relationship between the data source table that defines keys and a second data source table.

Abstract: A method and system for a secure telephone protocol are disclosed, which can be implemented using current Voice over IP (VoIP) protocols, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP, as specified in the Request for Comment (RFC) 3261 from the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF)), Real Time Transport Protocol (RTP, as specified in RFC 3550), and Secure RTP (SRTP, as specified in RFC 3711). The secure telephone protocol can include a shared secret value that is cached and then re-used later to authenticate a long series of session keys to be used for numerous separate secure phone calls over a long period of time, thereby providing cryptographic key continuity without the need for voice authentication. In an embodiment, the secure telephone protocol can utilize the Diffie-Hellman key exchange during call setup, and AES for encrypting the voice stream.
Abstract: A method of answering a query includes deconstructing documents into path segments. Identical path segments from different documents are arranged contiguously to form a set of partitions, where each partition has identical path segments. The structure of a query is then analyzed to find a match with a document. Based upon the analysis, a sub-set of partitions is selected for searching. Content from the query is compared to content within the sub-set of partitions to identify matched content. The matched content has associated structural attributes. The matched content structural attributes are compared to the structure of the query to identify an answer to the query.

Abstract: A computer-readable medium to direct a computer to function in a specified manner includes executable instructions to construct a strategy map characterizing a presumed causal link between a first business metric and a second business metric. A first pattern within data associated with the first business metric is identified; a second pattern within data associated with the second business metric is located. Any relationship between the first pattern and the second pattern is specified.
Abstract: A computer readable medium includes executable instructions to audit data migration. The executable instructions include instructions to define a data migration path from a source to a target. Audit points are specified within the data migration path. Audit statistics to be generated at the audit points are identified. The audit statistics including data corresponding to individual data values transmitted over the data migration path. Audit rules to be applied against the audit statistics are established.

Abstract: A non-human transgenic mammalian animal, as described above, contains one or more exogenous double stranded DNA sequence(s) stably integrated into the genome of the animal, which comprises trans-acting regulatory units controlling expression of DNA sequences encoding proteins to be secreted into the milk of transgenic mammals. The DNA sequence of the trans-regulatory gene encodes transcriptional activating proteins, which are not secreted but made in a temporally controlled and mammary tissue specific manner. The DNA sequence containing the protein to be secreted in the milk is constructed on a separate gene sequence under the regulation of a minimal promoter and a trans-activation binding domain. The transgenic mammals are preferably pigs, cows, sheep, goats and rabbits. A related composition and method for making transgenic proteins which require specialized propeptides for proper post-translational processing is also described.

Abstract: A system and method operative in accordance with the present disclosure facilitate storage and retrieval of individual or discrete samples of biological, non-biological, and chemical material stored on dry media. Sample material may be disposed upon or within a porous or solid (i.e., non-porous) sample storage medium and subsequently archived in, and retrieved from, storage elements such as multi-well plates, for example, using robotic devices or other automated apparatus. The disclosed system and method enable ejection of sample material from a sealed storage element into a specific well of a multi-well daughter plate, or into a specific cuvette, test tube, or similar container. In some embodiments, a sample carrier comprising a storage medium may be punched or ejected through a first seal of the storage element with an apparatus or implement such as a disposable piercing tip, for instance, inserted through a second seal of the storage element.

Abstract: A method and system for detecting a keylogger on a computer is described. One illustrative embodiment creates, in a memory of the computer, a hidden window; generates a unique, unpredictable data pattern; inputs, to the hidden window, the unique, unpredictable data pattern in a manner that mimics keyboard input from a user; scans running processes in the memory other than a keylogger detection process for the unique, unpredictable data pattern; and performs a secondary scan of a suspect process, the suspect process having an associated buffer that contains the unique, unpredictable data pattern.
Abstract: A computer readable medium comprises executable instructions to form a list of parameters for a report. The list of parameters is compared to existing lists of parameters. A selected list of parameters is designated. A report is generated with the selected list of parameters.
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system producing for electrodynamic machinery are disclosed. In one embodiment, an integrated stator-housing structure for constructing electrodynamic machines includes one or more field pole members. Each field pole member can have a first pole face and a second pole face. Also, the members each can have a field pole core being configured to produce a flux path in a direction from the first pole face to the second pole face. In one embodiment, the integrated stator-housing structure can also include a housing structure configured to support the one or more field pole members. The housing structure is configured to mate with one or more other housing structures to form an enclosure of an electrodynamic machine. In another embodiment, the housing structure is composed of potting compound formed with the one or more field pole members in, for example, a mold. In this case, the integrated stator-housing structure includes the potting compound and the field pole members.

Abstract: An abstract query is received for querying data sources for a combined hierarchical dimension having at least one hierarchy. The abstract query is mapped into data source specific queries by generating context expressions according to the at least one hierarchy. The data source specific queries are executed in an order according to the at least one hierarchy to produce value results for the combined hierarchical dimension.
