Abstract: A catheter for delivery of an expandable intracorporeal device and method of using the catheter. The catheter may have an elongate shaft with a proximal section, distal section, proximal end and distal end. The distal section has a radially expandable shear barrier which is at least partially radially constrained by an outer radially constraining section. An expandable intracorporeal device, specifically an expandable endovascular graft, is disposed within an inner space within the radially expandable shear barrier. The catheter is guided to a desired site within a patient's body and the radial constraint of the outer radially constraining section is at least partially removed from the radially expandable shear barrier so as to allow the shear barrier and expandable intracorporeal device to expand and deploy.

Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for transforming two-dimensional images into three-dimensional illusions. A plurality of transparent or semi-transparent rods are configured in an annular configuration and mounted to a platform. The rods are rotated by a motor. Using a light source, a two-dimensional image is projected onto the rotating rods to kinetically transform the two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional illusion that seems to move through space.

Abstract: A laser surgery system having a computer control system coupled to a laser subsystem and a patient seat. The control system is coupled to the laser through a laser alignment system. The control system can be coupled to the patient seat through a patient alignment system. The control system sends a nominal position signal to move the patient seat, laser subsystem, or both so that the patient's first eye is moved into substantial alignment with the laser beam axis. The control system can send a second nominal signal to move the patient's second eye into substantial alignment with the laser beam axis. The control system can optionally comprise both an operator display and an assistant display. The assistant display provides real-time information to an assistant positioned at an assistant station adjacent the patient seat. The control system can be programmed to display edit fields with different colors to provide an obvious indication of the refractive information of the eye.

Abstract: A flush valve (2) includes a body (4) having a remotely actuated element (14) between an inlet (22) and an outlet (24) of the valve. A rotatable grate (8) having angled vanes (10) is positioned at the outlet whereby the direction of fluid flow can be selected. The grate is preferably manually rotatable to provide manual selection pf the direction of fluid flow.

Abstract: A ventilated neck brace that provides support to the wearer's neck while providing improved ventilation and breathability. Most embodiments of the neck brace include an elongate member that defines a neck support, a transition section, and an elongate shoulder rest. Most configurations of the neck brace allow the wearer to adjust the width and length of the neck brace.
