Abstract: An airbag of an airbag device has a primary hole for receiving an inflator and a secondary hole for receiving a securing device which secures the inflator to a base plate. A section surrounding the secondary hole is sandwiched between the inflator put in the airbag and the base plate. Therefore, the section of the airbag sandwiched between the inflator and the base plate can be enlarged and thus a high securing strength of the airbag can be acquired. The primary hole can comprise a vent hole that is used to discharge the gas from the inflator to the outside of the airbag. This structure need not make the vent hole separately. Therefore, the airbag is made simple and the production cost thereof becomes lower.
Abstract: A method of producing a holographic optical element which is capable of imparting complex corrections to the holographic optical element and of effecting the exposure using a short optical path permitting little disturbance to be infiltrated. A correction holographic optical element 13 for correcting the characteristics of the holographic optical element is disposed in at least one of the optical paths of an object beam 35 and a reference beam 36 that fall on a photosensitive material 11. The object beam 35 may be one obtained by reflecting the reference beam 36 by a reflection-type holographic optical element such as a reflection-type master holographic optical element 12. In the case of a holographic optical element used for the head-up display, the correction holographic optical element 13 may be given characteristics for correcting the curvature of the windshield or characteristics for correcting color aberration.

Abstract: A powdered bitumen concentrate is prepared which contains a mixture of synthetic silica and crystalline, powdered synthetic zeolite or mixture of zeolites.
Abstract: In a method of computing and controlling the fuel injection quantity of a fuel injection system and the ignition timing of an ignition system of an international combustion engine by a microcomputer in accordance with operating conditions of the engine, a discrimination signal indicative of the presence or absence of misfiring is generated in accordance with an electric signal from the ignition system so that when misfiring occurs, even if fuel injection quantity data has already been computed, data for reducing the fuel injection quantity to zero is generated in response to the discrimination signal to stop fuel injection.

Abstract: An apparatus for producing displays in the form of areas of well-defined illumination levels, in order to display a body subjected to penetrating radiation, and in particular X rays or gamma rays is provided. In this apparatus, the image is divided into two regions, the first corresponding to a narrow range of levels and the second, to a much larger range of levels. Means are provided in order to clearly differentiate the respective appearances of these two regions.
