Abstract: A force sensing system comprising a force sensor cell with the necessary electronics to acquire and process various signals. The signals may provide force measurement data for activities performed, for instance, on a weight stack exercise machine.
Abstract: A hydraulic exercise machine system comprises one or more hydraulic cylinders, a mechanism coupled to at least one of the hydraulic cylinders, and a sensor assembly. Displacement of the mechanism by a person exercising on the hydraulic exercise machine displaces pistons of the hydraulic cylinders relative to the cylinders. The sensor assembly is to sense displacement of a piston relative to its cylinder over time.
Abstract: Consistency of motion is monitored over a period of time while a person is exercising on an exercise machine that impacts one or more muscles and/or muscle groups of the musculoskeletal system of the person. A measure of fatigue of the one or more muscles and/or muscle groups for the period of time is calculated. An evaluation of the exercise session is provided, based at least in part on the measure of fatigue and the monitored consistency.
Abstract: The present invention provides an intravascular filter for minimally invasive deployment into, and extraction from, a blood vessel. The invention comprises an inferior vena cava filter used to prevent migration of clots into the pulmonary artery wherein the filter has a novel architecture such that the filter can be extracted from the vessel without substantially damaging the vessel, even after prolonged periods of deployment.
