  • Patent number: 5464192
Abstract: A hand operated post puller including a lever arm with multiple pivot points and a fulcrum mounted on a force dispersing foot. The cinch for the post is mounted on the end of the lever arm and consists of a pair of angulated links with a pair of separated bars mounted between them. The bars grip the post on either side and pressure from the lever arm tightens the cinch as the force pulls the post out of the ground.

  • Patent number: 5462043
Abstract: A unitary furnace through which air is circulated for heating purposes is disclosed. A blower forces air through a number of heat exchange tubes horizontally positioned within the combustion chamber for space heating purposes. Another blower is provided for the delivery of air to the burning material disposed upon a fuel support frame within the combustion chamber through an air distribution manifold. The manifold is fitted within the combustion chamber and has a number of air discharge openings positioned above and below the fuel support frame. These openings are oriented and arranged to direct the air passing therethrough generally inwardly toward the fuel on the fuel support frame. An electrical circuit including temperature sensors is provided for regulating air flow from each of the two blowers. One sensor is positioned in the furnace flue outlet and the other sensor is positioned exteriorly of the furnace in the space to be heated.

  • Patent number: 5454119
Abstract: A bed jacket has a torso portion. The torso portion has a closed frontal portion and a neck opening seam attached to a top portion of the closed frontal portion. A left arm opening seam and a right arm opening seam are attached to the closed frontal portion. A partially open rear portion is attached to the closed frontal portion. The left sleeve portion and the right sleeve portion are attached, respectively, to the left arm opening seam and to the right arm opening seam. There is a bib portion releasably attached to a front surface of the closed frontal portion. A multi-compartment belt is attached to the closed frontal portion. There is a shoulder support portion attached to the closed frontal portion. The shoulder support portion is also attached to the partially open rear portion. The shoulder support portion has a releasably fastened securing member attached to a neckband or collar member.

  • Patent number: 5447304
Abstract: A removable basketball net assembly for installation on a fixed basketball hoop, the assembly having a circular, downwardly-open overlay ring for placement on an upper surface of the basketball hoop and a plurality of first and second types of clips. The assembly minimizes the reduction of the inside diameter of the hoop. The overlay ring has a generally semi-circular in-cross-section shell portion which has an inner surface that abuts the hoop. Each type of clip has a downwardly-open arcuate shape, a top side being complementary to the inner surface of the shell portion and a bottom side being complementary to the upper surface of the hoop. The overlay ring grips the hoop with a plurality of the first type of clips which are attached to the inner surface of the shell portion.

  • Patent number: 5445390
Abstract: A mathematical Board Game for a plurality of players has a rectangular game board with a plurality of card stations or chambers arranged in a matrix of horizontal and vertical rows. The card chambers include a start card chamber in each corner of the board and a plurality of problem card chambers in a perimeter of the board between the start card chambers. A plurality of answer card chambers on the board are surrounded by the start card chambers and the problem card chambers. A start card is removably placed in each of the start card chambers. A problem card is removably placed in each one the problem card chambers. There is a different mathematical problem on each problem card. An answer card is removably placed in each one the answer card chambers. There is an answer to one of the mathematical problems on each of the answer cards.

  • Patent number: 5435570
Abstract: A game apparatus has a target housing and a target chamber in the target housing. The chamber may be filled with water. A reference target, in the target chamber, has a reference base attached to the floor of the target housing. The reference base has a height "Hr". A first circuitous, closed-end, loop-shaped landing site (Lily Pad) is attached an end of the reference base distal another end of the reference base attached to the floor. A plurality of first and second associated targets in the target chamber. The first associated targets have a first associated base attached to the floor. The first associated bases have a height "Ha" that is less than "Hr". The second associated bases have second associated base attached to the floor.
